Wickes - Reading Reviews 

We ordered a Wickes kitchen for a rental apartment, only after placing the order to be informed that the Install could only take place 2 months after our desired date. We also ordered replacement bathroom panels, which we then discovered were never ordered by the Wickes representative in Reading. To mitigate risk we also requested that the kitchen be delivered 2 weeks prior to the install and checked all the items, only then to discover during the install that items were not included in the delivery. The rental apartment is an hour away, today was informed by Wickes that the missing items were to be delivered, went over to the apartment to WAIT, only to find out at 17:50 that the alert on delivery was for a Warehouse delivery from DX to Wickes and that the Wickes delivery would now be on the 22/09 to our home which is not the delivery address, and after the installer has departed. This is not the experience we expected.. and based on this will not use Wickes again. Can do much better. This Kitchen was ordered in April. All messages that we have left for our designer at Wickes - we have never had a response to. Each time we have had to drive through to find someone to respond

I ORDERED ONLINE, i ordered kitchen worktops and upstand. i was told you will get your order within 10 days. it doesn't say its coming from a 3rd party[CARYSIL SURFACES]. Nearly 4 week go by so i ask for a refund. WICKES said you will get a refund within 14 days. CARYSIL AND WICKES STILL NOT GIVING ME A REFUND. I DONT KNOW WHEN I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK

Struggled with the selection of exterior paint in store but Olivia was extremely helpful and I found what I was looking for eventually. Excellent customer service, which is so rare these days!

I have been using wickes for a long time now and everytime i order click and collect its always there when its time for me to collect.All the staffs are very friendly and specially Olivia the duty manager,i will always be using Wickes Oxford Road 1st before any other merchants as the 10% trade discount makes a difference when you add them all up through the years so keep up the good work Wickes Oxford Road,Reading

I ordered some tools to click and collect at 10pm on Friday night. I needed these urgently and hoped they would ready early the next day. When I arrived at the store at 7.10am the next day Olivia had already picked the items and they were ready for collection. Fantastic service. Thanks Olivia.

Staff are super friendly and helpful and go above and beyond there duty to make sure you make right choices for diy project

Generally great, until they mess up an order for delivery. If you get a broken /defective part they will then send one courier to collect it and then a different one (on a different day) with the replacement part. Maximum inconvenience and no compensation.
To add insult to injury, they have just tried to redeliver the same defective part that they delivered (and then collected) in the first place. Impressively poor.

5 stars, I have been coming here for many years and have always had a great experience in this Wickes store. Olivia the manager is always very helpful.

Elizabeth Moffatt has been extremely patient, creative and diligent throughout our interactions. She is the main reason why we selected Wickes over others. She understood our requirements very well and helped us over a period of weeks with professionalism and care.

I bought a bathroom from Wickes Reading. Some items were faulty. It seems there are no customer services to help in this situation. I had no response to multiple attempts to contact the right people at the shop and central customer services just referred me back to the shop.

Kaleb is a star, give him a pay rise! And a case of corona! He was super helpful, engaging and made my visit today a pleasure. I left smiling 🙂

I Visited Wickes in Reading today to buy some paint. I couldn't find the colour us was looking for o the shelf so approach a young chap by the name of Tom. He went out of his way to assist and found what I was looking for back of house. I had a few other queries that he assisted me with.
Really refreshing to meet someone that actually seemed keen to help.

Been six months since our bathrooms were done already have mould appearing on our ceiling ! A cloakroom door that hits into the sink when u open it dented shower frame the list is endless ! Please please don’t use them! If I could leave a minus star I
I would! Tiles ran out took 2 weeks to get more wrong panels with shower 2 leaks during fitting absolutely heartbreaking had to move out due to sewage smell which they argued we couldn’t prove was down to them . Wickes gave us a very small rebate which didn’t cover our expenses ( I stupidly accepted ) due to illness. We waited years to do these improvements and it was ruined by our experience with Wickes.

Very helpful duty manager on Good Friday today. Excellent customer service, helped get slabs to my car, and nothing was too much trouble. Friendly & courteous, a credit to Wickes.

I come into the store regularly, I am always greeted with a big smile from the manager Olivia. She is unbelievable!

Got everything I needed, big shout out to Emma on the checkout, very friendly and efficient amd happy- she is a credit to the store!

Olivia and the team are very helpful and experienced. It's a shame the systems let them down at times but they're very good to get you your product nevertheless.

I Just would like to say that a young lady called Olivia was extremely helpful to me with my order. I have never used the Reading store before but as I could not find enough packs of flooring which I needed 27 packs in my local town as they were was out of stock.
Olivia found some on the shop floor and in the storeroom she was helping me load my trolley and running around finding other items I needed.
Olivia told me to go home and off load and return back to the store and she would load up the rest of my order and would leave it in a safe place for when I returned back to the store later that day.
What a amazing young lady.
