Wickes - Sutton In Ashfield Reviews 

I came in with a piece of spare laminate in the Sutton In Ashfield store.
I spoke to a member of staff called Brendan once I found a very similar colour to ask if the latching mechanism was the same.
He helped me get a board out, and latch it together on both the side and end piece of the board. It fit very well. He also advised on using a rubber mallet during fitting which was very helpful.

Absolute pleasure to deal with and sterling job overall.

Made a online appointment at the sutton in ashfield branch our designer was Neil Morgan, he was Very friendly and helpful, We had one damaged panel which Neil quickly got it sorted we received a new panel 3 day's later nothing was to much trouble Excellent service many thanks Neil .

We asked a question to a young lady called Francesca who was serving on the till. Her customer service was brilliant, she was kind,friendly and very helpful explained clearly the answer to our question. We didn’t get what we went in wicks for, but we will be going back for our items what we wanted. Francesca is a credit to your store. Keep up the good work Francesca.

A quick call to check stock because I was halfway through a painting job, only 2 tins left, Francesca at Sutton in ashfield went out into the store to remove them from the shelf while a drove over to collect them. Thank-you Francesca, top job.

Have had the busiest, craziest & most emotional 2 months of my life with lots of ups & downs! Unfortunately life has to go on so still running back and forth shopping to help a friend move. Of all the shops I have shopped in for years the best customer service I have received was from the lovely Heidi at the Sutton-in-Ashfield store. I first noticed how friendly she spoke with an elderly lady a couple in front of me in the queue and she really is one of those people who just makes every customer feel seen and important. After a couple of visits we had a very brief chat at the till and she was so kind I felt I needed to review just to highlight her to the management. A true asset when retail is becoming less and less about social connection and more about get people in and out of the door! Products I purchased were good too 👍🏻

Went to look at flooring and plumbing stuff. We were not too sure about amounts. We stopped a young man called jason Normaly We get told a number to go to. He was fantastic showed me how to use it and best things to do. He even worked out how much we needed. We have been going to wickes for years this was the first time I have not been stressed. Customer service was top notch thank you jason.

Had a great experience today at the Sutton-in-Ashfield branch. I needed 17 packs of tiles and was struggling to find enough with a matching batch number. Michelle came with a big smile and was more than happy to assist, she helped me find exactly what I needed. She also helped me load them onto the trolley. I frequent these places being a tradesman and it's rare you get this sort of help, especially with such a happy smile. Michelle is an absolute credit to your company.

Purchased 2 tins of Dulux paint and the lid came off in the boot of my car and the attitude of a member of staff was quote “as soon as you walk out of the door it’s not our problem” so I complained to head office they said yes we can sort it out send proof of purchase and damage done which I did turns out the email address was a chatbot and no matter how many times I sent the information it kept asking for some obscure information without going forward so I emailed head of customer service which a solution that would have cost Wickes about £40 she never even acknowledged my email, I will never use the again or recommend them
