The call handler was very professional and easy to understand.

I spoke today with one of your staff named Pravinder Makh, he was the most friendliest, supportive and knowledgable person and made me feel so much at ease. He was so so helpful, gave me lots of advice and pointed me in the direction of all the help I was entitled to. I struggle dealing with telephone calls at the moment but Pravinder made everything seem so much better. Thankyou so much!

Fiona the friendly consultant and advisor was very helpful and gave me links to some very valuable sources of help for my needs and I shall follow up on her recommendations in good time as I need to reach out!

Being totally honest I was dreading the call cuz at the moment I'm going through a bereavement and I am not coping with it well. ive started basically becoming a recluse not wanting to go out or socialize its actually becoming more of a fear and since my partners death ive been so depressed and cant seem to function and my finances have took a real knock. ive tried getting help but just kept getn the doir slammed in my face. Someone will tell me one minute i can get help from this or that organisation but its just dissapointment after disappointment. Get ur hopes up only to be knocked bk again. I was expecting the same from BHBH but to my surprise and relief the lady who contacted me Fiona was amazing, she explained everything so as i actually understood she took her t she didnt just rush through a script like most of the telephone advisors one speaks to nowadays.she told me my options and basically told me take my time and think about how i want to move forward from here. Fiona is a credit to the organisation. She is very knowledgeable about a lot of things including what support is out there for vulnerable people like myself and most of all she listened. I kept stopping myself thinking I'm rambling on here and I bet she has loads to do and when I apologised for going on and on she said 'you can talk to me anytime that's what you need to get everything out, don't bottle it all up. I can honestly say today has been the first day that ive felt like there may be a light st the rnd of the tunnel. I'll admit ive felt do low at times that ive just wanted to be with Si and ive thought abt it but Fiona has empathy and compassion and is such a caring individual after the telephone apt we had it felt like I'd know her for ages I get so anxious in those sorts of situations normally but I was put completely at ease and now feel like I may be able to start finally trying to sort my life out. Thankyou so much 👍
