Fair Service, but requires you to work as well!
We have had our ups and downs, but overall I believe I'm getting a fair-game service that delivers me warm leads to work with. Please read the conditions, track your requests and understand what exactly you are getting :)
I recommend working with Megan - after few months she has understood what we do and provides us way more relevant leads than the portal filters!

YourShortlist have been part of our annual marketing spend for a few years now. Like with all leads not all land but you do get to speak to real customers that are looking for a problem that needs fixing.
10+ years of working together
We have worked with YSL for over 10 years and the relationship has worked well with a number of leads having been converted into sales. Of course during that time we have had good and bad experiences but we work with our account manager there to maximise on the good experiences and build on them. Like any relationship regular communication and some give and take is required to make it successful.
Easy to work with
I have been working with YSL for about 6 months and the quality & quantity of leads we get from them, on the whole, are great and will help us increase sales this year. The partner portal is very user-friendly and customer service offered by our Account Manager, Dannii Callaghan is always very punctual and professional.
Great Service
I came across the short list on LinkedIn when looking for a new crm system for my mother who runs an estate planning firm. I had an initial call with Dylan Dempsey who asked me all sorts of question to find out exactly what we needed. He emailed me a few examples and introduced us to a company and we are still using them to this day.

They will check up on you via phone call to understand your requirements and how meetings with partners went. Adjusting requirements based on your organisations needs.
Non-profits do not have to pay to use their services, which is much appreciated.

We've been working with YourShortlist for over 5yrs and have found the quality of the leads to be very good. We have generated several high-value sales over this period from YSL leads. The quality of the lead information is very good and enables us to make good decisions on whether we want to purchase a particular lead. Our account manager is very proactive and responsive, which means any (rare) issues get resolved quickly and easily.

Lead quality and governance issues undermined what began as a positive relationship
Unfortunately, what started as a trusting relationship — and one where we even provided references to other organisations — deteriorated once we began challenging the quality and governance of leads being supplied.
Over time, we were charged for duplicated leads, no-show prospect meetings, and opportunities that failed to meet even basic qualification standards. These issues were raised constructively and at the time they occurred, yet only a small percentage of meaningful credits were issued and no clear evidence was provided to demonstrate that the problems were being addressed.
The situation escalated when the same lead was resurfaced and charged again under a different reference number. This was not an isolated incident and raised serious concerns around lead validation and quality control processes.
It was disappointing that account management appeared focused on short-term revenue rather than building a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership. When a legitimate billing challenge was raised — after we had already reduced our investment due to ongoing issues — the account was closed rather than the concerns being resolved.
How YourShortlist could improve:
– Implement clearer and stricter lead validation to prevent duplication and re-issuing of the same opportunities
– Apply a fair, transparent rebate process for no-shows and unqualified leads
– Encourage open challenge and feedback without penalising partners who raise legitimate concerns
– Focus account management on long-term partner value, not short-term billing
We categorically reject any suggestion that we acted unprofessionally on sharing YSL charge rates when trying to get a rebate on one of the many poorly qualified leads. Challenging duplicated billing and delivery issues is reasonable and necessary. Trust is a reciprocal obligation, and unfortunately that trust had been materially eroded well before the relationship ended.
A real shame, as with better governance, transparency, and collaboration, this could have been a productive long-term relationship.
Imaginary Service
Imaginary Service - No Genuine Sales Leads - AVOID
You pay a significant price (£300) for the lead.
About 80% of the leads you will get, you will not be able to contact with. So possibly, they're giving you fake numbers and contacts.
"But there's a passback request". Yeah, but passback request is entierly in the YS team decision. Even if you in theory fulfill all the requirements, they're always very eager to find any kind of small things you didn't comply with. And even if you did comply, they will not want to refund you.
So in essence - scam service. As soon as you pay, you should treat money as lost, and in return you will only get leads that you won't be able to contact with.
Note/reply: I am not just talking about last pseudo-lead, but I am talking about overall experience with imaginary non-checked leads and overall experience with service over many months of cooperation attempts.
