For some reason my EE, Humax Youview 4K UHD box has become a Talk Talk box?
Why has this happened?
Why can I no longer access the U TV app?
Why does the unsolicited change from EE to Talk Talk affect access to this app?
If Talk Talk is the problem why hasn't it been resolved?
No access means I don't watch U TV programming and thus no adverts watched by me.
Surely Youview makes sure all apps are accessible on their platform?

At the heart of this are the crooks (my opinion) of Sony but You view and ITVX don’t come out of this well

I have You iew built into my Sony tv. It takes ages for something to come up and eventually when I do press to watch something it could take 3 minutes to plat it. The engineers who mounted my tv told me at the time not to bother with youview for the reasons mentioned. It needs some firmware update when built into a Sony Android tv. A big thumbs down because with Youview you don't really vew much, over the past 6 years still trying to speed up by getting nowhere.

the tv signal was rubbish so they said to contact support.youview.com and give error code which was YVM302 and absolutely nothing no help whatsoever.I tried several times but in the end i gave up .What a complete utter waste of time.

This is the most appalling operating system. It can only be a British company that is dead slow and stop. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I don't understand why Sony TVs still use it. It is sluggish at the best of times, that is when you get a connection. Mostly, it fails to connect. You have to start it up an hour before you want to watch anything. This system should be obsolete.

It’s a shame that we have to post a review to get some response or respect from this appalling show of a service… paying an extortionate amount of money to watch tv that is equivalent to watching tele in the 1980’s because of an alleged ‘fault’ in our area… that has according to BT’s website, has been ongoing since March.. we want out of our contract and go back to Sky tv… shame on you.

I have a bizarre problem with my Youview box - if you wait for BBC4 to start up , it often doesn't start up with sound . This is annoying if you only ever watch the Totp repeats !
I have no idea if it's a issue with BBC4 or Youview or both. The other channels seems to be OK.

Would leave no stars if possible...total crap box, constantly says no connection yet all other internet in the home is working.continued screens if apps unavailable, no internet connection...paying for nothing

This app slows your TV to the point where it makes you suicidal. Sony please boycott this utter rubbish!!!!!!!

Utter rubbish !!!!! We would be better sticking a cable up a cows rear end ! Any of the streaming services work for 2-3 mins then begin cutting out and demanding a reboot . Have followed all the trouble shooting tips and contacted a customer service agent who tested the signal , made some adjustments / improvements which seemed to resolve the problems for a couple of days but they have resumed worse than before . I wholeheartedly regret signing up for BT tv and broadband and hope to cancel asap .AVOID !

YouView came with my Sony television. YouView's guide is good at showing what programmes have been missed, but very flakey for current and future programmes: "Information not available". Never had this problem with FreeView.
Trustpilot: what's wrong with 'programmes'? Why is it underlined? You get One-Star, as well!

It's crap basically. I bought mine outright but tbh I would rather sting my eye ball with a scorpion

Just dreadful. Slow an incoherent as to why you need an aerial

So my Sony smart TV isn't a smart TV because of YouView. I apparently must plug an aerial in to enable youview. In order to watch Internet based TV streaming apps. I have no aerial as I don't watch terrestrial TV. So I also now have a Sony smart TV with no streaming apps.

Youview is a brain dead heap off messy smelly stuff . I cannot use my Sony TV for streaming without enabling the stupid thing and and when enabled if stops the satellite channels working. I bought a sony TV, I did not buy YouView i do not want YouView but it insists use it. I will never buy sony gain. The product is so bad that they to make you use it as no one in their right mind would choose to.

Get your complete shxt service off smart TVs , can't use basic streaming services because your dead service require an aerial Absolute trash

Absolute trash. Takes five minutes to load up and then another five minutes before it will respond to the remote. If you want to watch something at 6pm you can't just turn the TV on and watch it you have to plan it like a military operation. It says there is a fast start-up option which this is set on. I pity the poor people on a slower start-up. YouView? HowView, SlowView, NoView more like.
