I have been dealing with Cassia and Magda who are extremely helpful and responsive. The planning and execution of my safari was excellent, so much so that I have already booked another for next year.

I had arranged a trip to South Africa, Botswana and Uganda for my family but with a month to go I had to cancel our week in Uganda. It was late to rebook elsewhere so I turned to a couple travel companies to see if they could help us out. Our regular company wasn't able to but Kate at Yellow Zebra pulled through for us. She worked diligently on a couple different possibilities. Namibia was booked but she was able to arrange a trip to Victoria Falls and then on to Deetema Springs in Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. She worked closely with me to match our interests and style of travel - not too posh. Yellow Zebra was attentive to details, gave us information on getting the necessary visas etc. The trip went smoothly, we were met at all of our connections, the accommodations were great and to our tastes. Thank you Kate for rescuing our trip! I would definitely recommend working with Yellow Zebra.

One of the most frustrating issues I have is leaving a message and waiting a dog's age for a response. That was never an issue with Yellow Zebra. They came recommended from fellow traveler's and they came through with flying colors. Even though our trip is all planed out and yet to start they are regularly staying in touch to make sure that I am on track with my paperwork and assuring us they are always available to help us with an further changes. They respond very quickly and do not leave us hanging. Cheers to them!!

I have just come back from my third safari with Yellow Zebra.. it was my best one yet!!
I was at Kecheche Mara North camp on the Masai Mara it was my second trip to that camp and what a welcome.. the wildlife was stunning I saw everything imaginable.
It is all thanks to Yellow Zebra , I travel on my own and no detail is overlooked and I feel safe and always looked after. There was an airport strike at NAIROBI airport and the support group where brilliant at sorting out accommodation for me as I was delayed by 2 days . Yellow Zebra Safaris was fantastic from start to finish. Specifically our advisor, Jo, was fabulous. We wanted to do an African safari for our honeymoon but did not know where to start. Jo was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful into providing us with a variety of different options. She was able to cater options to meet our needs. Further the airport transfer was seamless and very efficient. This was a trip of a lifetime that we will never forget and we cannot thank yellow zebra enough!!!! Would highly recommend and we are already discussing using them again.

Our safari was fantastic! The camps we stayed at were perfect for our group. The Amalinda Lodge tucked into the cliffs was especially scenic. Food at each location was delicious and served by a very attentive staff. Our safari guides, (Chamu at Amalinda, Zeb at Ivory, and Geoffrey at Flatdogs) were all extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job explaining everything from tracking animals via their footprints to identifying more birds than I thought possible. We were able to see every animal we had hoped for multiple times, including time spent with babies to full blown lion hunt. This was our second trip with Yellow Zebra. Both times we worked with Olivia and her and her team’s guidance on where to stay, logistics and ways to improve, and above all making sure we were able to see and experience so much are memories we will never forget. We look forward to working with her again on our next African adventure

This will be my second trip to Africa. I am going again next year. Yellow Zebra is organizing my 2027 trip with the same professionalism, care and patience as my 2026 trip. I highly recommend them.

My mother has always wanted to go on an African safari, and she eventually talked me into taking her 😁. We wanted a highly customized trip: her main reason for going was to see meerkats; I wanted to see the big cats; we wanted limited tourist traffic; we wanted to fly from place to place rather than spend hours driving—the list went on.

I interviewed five of the top premier safari companies and ultimately chose Eleanor Roberts at Yellow Zebra. Eleanor was clearly passionate about her job. She was a great listener, asked all the right questions, and was incredibly accessible and accommodating throughout the planning process.

She figured out exactly what we wanted to accomplish and built a (primarily) Botswana trip that was perfect for us—and right within our budget.

After watching videos of safaris in some of Africa's major national parks, I knew I had no desire to roll up on a leopard in a tree with 50 other vehicles surrounding it. Eleanor understood exactly what we were looking for and booked us on private concessions, where we rarely saw anyone all day other than our driver and tracker. It was exactly the experience we wanted.

Throughout our journey, we ran into several other travelers who had used Yellow Zebra—some of them multiple times—and they all raved about how great YZ was. We completely agree.

I've traveled extensively and have gotten to the point where I'm usually a little underwhelmed by trips. This was the complete opposite. I was blown away by how much the experience exceeded my expectations.

If you're looking for a non-cookie-cutter, highly customized African safari, seriously consider Yellow Zebra. The next time we go to Africa, there won't be any interviews with other companies. We're going straight back to Eleanor and YZ!!!

We met amazing people and stayed in fantastic hotels and lodges with the highlight being the camp in Northern Serengeti. Yellow Zebra Safaris did an amazing job organizing our trip to Tanzania. We worked with Cassia, who was great from start to finish. She listened to what we were looking for, provided different options and thoughtful suggestions, and helped arrange everything from our flights to the safari camps.
Once we were in Tanzania, the Operations team made sure all the logistics went smoothly and that we were taken care of throughout the trip. Having everything so well organized allowed us to simply enjoy the experience without worrying about the details.

The trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe to see Victoria Falls and Safari in Tanzania planned by Yellow Zebra is beyond description. They made every step of the way easy.
