Jamie shows in real time how to make pasta, and other wonderful dishes. His enthousiasm, tips and tricks and precise showing the techniques is so inviting!

I really enjoy watching a long version of how to cook. Jamie Oliver’s lesson on making pasta is a good example of taking your time to make a delicious meal. Of course he has made this on other shows but his insights on YesChef makes a difference for home cooks like me.
I’m looking forward to watching more lessons.

I have made several recipes from the chefs featured in this website. First, everything I've made turned out magnificently. Second, the walk throughs by each chef and the lists of ingredients and step by step instructions are super helpful and make me feel more confident in the end product.

Jamie Oliver is the best! Easy to follow recipes, nutritious with common ingredients. Delicious! I have added several to my week night meal rotations.

Jamie Oliver is the best teacher, makes cooking fun! I have learned to make pasta and a stone fruit dessert.

Don't do it! I purchased this as a gift, and the person I gifted it to had a hard time accessing the account. Customer support was not great with response times, and they barely used it because of those issues. Canceling was terrible. I reached out multiple times about cancellation, and they never replied. I had to reverse the charges through my credit card company. THEN, they reached out, pleading with me to cancel the reversal. Several months later, they are again trying to charge me $180 for a subscription I didn't authorize. Unbelievable.

What made my experience a very happy one is that after watching a few of the chefs so far is that they explain the process(es) they are using. It's very helpful to know what textures/consistencies should feel like and what you can expect from their recipes. I'm very very happy with Yes Chef!

I do a fair amount of food research on the internet. This series stood out as real, informed cooking. It gives me ideas and procedures I could really use.

It's top level stuff, the kind that can transform your cooking.

And it's fun.

A great platform, simple to navigate. A very interesting mix of chefs showing how they cook, their tips and tricks, at home. Of course Jamie Oliver is always full of enthusiasm and passion!

Starting with Francis Mallmann, the teachings are stunning from the chefs to the food to the cinematography. I am mesmerized with every moment and every bite.

The service is videos of popular chefs talking about cooking. The videos are basic, more slice of life than an explanation of particular techniques.

The videos are designed for use on a mobile phone, and as such the quality is relatively low. I found some difficulty projecting them to a larger screen, but managed.

They were really not all that interesting, so I stopped watching them. I deleted the app and made sure in my apple app store that the subscription was not there. It was not.

I was surprised, however, to find the charge as an annual charge on my credit card statement. I asked the company about it and after a great deal of back and forth where they more or less kept trying to wriggle out of issuing a refund and cancelling the service, on threatening to report them to the credit card company they promised to refund me.

They did not. Instead, the ghosted me or gave various excuses. Saying they had to wait. I never got my refund. And then again this year, I got charged again. And now nobody at the company responds to messages.

I don't know what kind of company does this sort of thing with customers, but I think they know their content is not very sticky and the only way they can make any money is by trapping consumers.

Stay away.
