Well the product does exactly what it says and I had new Grass within a week.....so very pleased

All the items that I have purchased seem to be of good quality and value.
Most items have been purchased to send to Ukraine. I will probably be purchasing more items in the future.
Delivery is also quite fast.

Good product. Good price. Excellent service initially but part of the order was damaged in transit and I reported this immediately but they were really slow in dealing with my request for replacements which I have been told today should arrive in two to three days which will be 10/11 days after my request.

Goods arrived in packaging ok, but the gift boxes and sleeves they were in were damaged. Some were to be given as gifts, but they are too battered looking to do this

First order from this company, looking like my last. Ordered 8 days ago, advised by email that my order would be delivered in 3-5 days. No sign as yet, no response to emails and the tracking provided does not update. Thank goodness I only spent £8 plus postage .

I ordered an Ulster Weavers PVC tote bag which came either which long or short handles and I wanted the short ones so I ordered that one. However when it arrived it was the long handled one. I sent a message via the website but never received a reply so I then phoned. Each time I got a receptionist who said everyone was busy and someone would phone back but they never did.

Amazing prices & love my purchases. Only gripe is that I paid £5.99 On a Monday for items to arrive within 1/2 business days.

Items had not arrived by end of week, so I sent an email to customer services.
No response!

Items arrived in quite bashed boxes the following Monday.
£5.99 delivery for a weeks waiting time & not to even refund my postage or have some sort of communication is pretty dire.

For years I've struggled to chop logs.. probably due to incorrect equipment.. took a chance on this log splitter and my life has been changed !!! Super easy to use feels comfortable and strong.. super fast delivery and even better price can't recommended enough!! Thank you guys 💪👊

Only one item arrived , the water butt. I rang customer services who just said someone will get back to you in 2 days. They could have dealt with it then but anyway 2 days later an email asking how they can help, what's the problem. I emailed back and then never heard another thing. Customer service non existent. Would never order online from them again.

Avoid if anything goes wrong — awful complaint handling

I have now had repeated problems with Yorkshire Trading Company and the customer-service experience has been appalling.

My earlier order was delayed and eventually lost. I spent a long time chasing it, and when I telephoned, the adviser I dealt with, Jordan, laughed during the call while I was explaining that the planters were urgently needed for a memorial garden for my late father and that plants were already suffering because of the delay.

I made a formal complaint about that conduct and asked for the call and records to be reviewed. Instead, once replacement goods eventually arrived, Terri simply wrote that they “now consider the matter closed”.

I made clear that replacing lost goods did not resolve a complaint about how I had been treated. I asked for a proper investigation, written response and management review. I even submitted a Subject Access Request. Records were later supplied, but the actual staff-conduct complaint was never properly answered.

I then placed another order — Order #1397866 — and received three planters with visibly cracked and broken rims/corners. I sent photographic evidence and requested a full refund, and once again I have had to chase.

So my experience has included:

* delayed and lost goods;
* repeated chasing;
* plants badly affected by delays;
* a member of staff laughing during a call while I was discussing bereavement and a memorial garden;
* a complaint being treated as “closed” without actually answering it;
* damaged goods on a later order;
* and yet more chasing for a basic refund.

What concerns me most is not simply that mistakes happened. It is the way complaints were handled afterwards.

I would strongly advise customers to think carefully before ordering anything time-sensitive from this company. If your order goes wrong, my experience is that getting a proper complaint investigated is extraordinarily difficult.

I ordered a kangaroo dog toy and received an elephant. I email the company stating the error. I have not received a reply. They did contact me for a review of my purchase experience. This is my review.
