Shocking online order experience - worst I've ever had. If I could give zero stars I would!

Placed an order on Black Friday for an item shown as in stock. YSL took payment and sent order confirmation. After a week I sent their Customer service and email chasing and update - no reply (even to this date 23rd Dec). After 2 weeks I tried to call them, got a VM saying there were MORE than 10 people ahead of me in the queue. I was on hold for an hour and 20 minutes and the message was the same - still more than 10 people ahead of me. I hung up. Next day I called at 9am and got exactly the same message. This time I only waited 20 mins before hanging up. Thought I'd try a different tactic, so I called again and instead of taking the option to chase an existing order I took the option to place and order and someone answered the phone immediately!! Explained the situation to Jugroop (who took the call). He said he would look into my order and email me back. I then got an email from him saying he had emailed his warehouse to chase my order and they had 2 days to reply and he would revert. I waited 3 days then emailed him again. He said they hadn't replied and I asked him to cancel my order as it was a Christmas gift and I would order elsewhere. I put this request in an email asking for a refund on 15th December - guess what? No refund, no delivery, no email replies. Now emailed twice since asking for confirmation that they had cancelled and refunded - no reply. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE, I ordered the same product from Amazon on the 15th December and received it next day - cost me £10 more (due to YSL black Friday pricing). BUT I WILL NOT ORDER ANY YSL products from anyone ever again.

I placed an order and then, out of curiosity, I read the reviews on here. I was shocked, appalled, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I can’t even begin to describe the sense of betrayal and naivness I felt when I thought I was scammed by an official website. I contacted the customer service via email and I got no replies whatsoever so I began to look at what I could do with my bank to get my money back.

Three days later I get a text from dpd telling me they were about to deliver my parfum.

Worst experience I have ever had ordering online. Brought 5th December one perfume it’s now the 22nd December got nothing. Took a week to reply to my email saying my order was unsuccessful and that no funds were taken just put on an authorisation hold. No money was taken 10th December so I assumed order went through. The fact no one bothered to reach out and tell me this and I had to email is beyond ridiculous. Tried calling for my refund after 10 minutes call filtered picked up saying no one free I wanted to wait as already wasted 10 minutes she said no as they have no transfer facility? Told me to call again if I’m not happy with a call back? YSL I expected so much better from you completely put off the brand

I wouldn’t normally write a review but having seen all the negatives, I thought I should offer some balance. I ordered on Friday and it arrived on Tuesday morning in the busy Christmas period, all packaged well and with good communication.

Ordered £200 plus with of items on 5th still nothing on the 10th only order confirmation sent 10 emails no answers Absolutely terrible for a large company and no complaints procedures

Am in the process of a dispute via Mastercard as YSL only sent me my free samples not my £112 of perfume. Sent them a pic of the box that came (the size of 2 perfume samples) and they argued that my £112 perfume gift set would have fit in that box. AVoid this company.

I ordered some make up on 26 November and now almost 2 weeks later i have not received my order and YSL Beauty who are part of L'Oreal are impossible to get hold of. I have filled in their online form a couple of times to ask when i can expect delivery and get no response, i cant find a email address for them and when i call their call centre i have held for over an hour at a time but it constantly says there are more than 10 people in the queue and i cant get through. I now have no choice but to speak to my bank and do a charge back so not worth the hassle of ordering from them

I had to return something and was asked to pay for the postage but assured that they would refund me for this.
I paid £26.75 to return a parcel. I didn't receive the refund which was "processed" on 14.10.21! I've emailed several times to chase it but now they are not even replying to them.

Was almost put off by the bad reviews here, but gave YSL beauty a go - ordered some Opium as part of wife's Christmas present, this was cheapest could find anywhere by quite a margin (I'm a cheapskate). Arrived safely in 3 working days, complete with 2 samplers I'd chosen at the checkout.
I don't normally write reviews, but given the negativity on here, and the positive outcome I had I thought it was justified. Thanks YSL :)

I ordered several items from YSL beauty. When they arrived one item was missing. I reported it and have never received a replacement. I have also asked for a refund and that hasn't been done either. Absolutely shocking service from a supposed high end retailer!!!!

Very, very poor service. Is this site even authentic?

I ordered in October, but did not receive any confirmation that this had been successful, though the money left my account. After 48hrs I messaged the company to ask whether my order had registered, and received no response to my query-though I did get a confirmation email the following day. I waited another week and had no despatch advice, despite it having been 9 days since ordering, and the supposed delivery time being 3-5 days. I emailed the company again and received no response. I tried to track my parcel through a link on the acknowledgment email, which brought up a sorry, we’re undergoing maintenance sign. I finally called customer services after receiving no product, and no written response to any of my queries. I spoke to someone who knew nothing of the emails I had sent to chase my order, despite saying he had accessed my account. I said I wanted a refund, and the customer service officer said they would ask a different department to process this, but that they would email me to confirm within the next 48hrs. I heard nothing more, but then noticed the funds had been returned to my account, after three weeks of waiting and chasing.

What a complete and utter waste of time. I wish I had read the reviews before parting with my cash to these jokers. I have re ordered from Boots. Do not touch YSL Beauty with a 10-foot barge pole!

Tried to order YSL Libre, and got as far as payment. Payment failed twice, was then asked to use another payment method. Second card failed as 'invalid payment method', so I abandoned it. Tried to call the number but that was down 'due to technical difficulties'. Worried that it was a scam - I was caught out by a scam site last year and they now had details of two cards so decided to cancel both cards - very inconvenient!!!!

Absolutely ridiculous. I spent £104 on a perfume and next day delivery, and the item which arrived the next day was a honey coloured foundation - not even close to what I ordered. The website is terrible for trying to make a complaint so I ended up on the phone to someone called Chris who seemed to be helpful. He said he would need to pass my case on to another department and he even emailed me to confirm he had done so. However after over a week and me emailing him to ask for an update I heard nothing back. I then had to ring again nearly two weeks after the wrong item had been delivered and demand my money back, which was then finally refunded to me. No idea what this Chris was doing passing me to another department when apparently a refund can be given very quickly. My first time using this website and it will certainly be my last.

Scam. This company pretends to be the real YSL. In fact the person i just dealt with actually said yes this is the real YSL. They are scammers. Don't waste your money here. Im gonna report to Trading Standards and Visa.
Just updating what actually happened to me with this company. I cant believe they are the real deal? Is this really owned by L’Oreal?! I ordered a touche eclait for a holiday address. 3-5 day delivery. Next day received a shipping email saying royal mail tracking number to follow. This never came. As i was on holiday 2 weeks i realised i would leave before it arrived. So tried calling. So this is where it begins. When calling no matter how long youre in the queue you are always number 4. Eventually someone answered and gave me a royal mail tracking number. I checked and rechecked. This number didnt exist according to royal mail. Tried calling back - number 4 again. Tried the contact online - emailed and form - both bounced back undeliverable. So now i check here and think okay its a scam - no way can this be YSL/ L’Oreal. Eventually i get hold of someone on phone who swears they are YSL but we have a bizarre exchange about why the tracking number didnt exist - he said im reading your notes and you asked for a refund - which was interesting as i didnt - i asked where it was as im going home soon? Seems both telephone operators were making things up as they go along? Bizarre? So then he said the 3-5 day delivery works like this. The day you order is not valid - fair enough. The day after you order is ‘day zero’ not day one. He actually said this. That was the day i had a shipping email anyway!? So then i posted a couple of moans on fb messenger. Today im told they have refunded me as it was out of stock? I asked why then did i get a shipping email and a tracking number? I still am none the wiser as to whether this is really YSL / L’Oreal and havent checked my bank yet. I will update if i ever get my money back. This operates like a scam but if it truly is a huge multinational company they should be ashamed.

Awful from start to finish.
Ordered a lip gloss - was sent a mascara. Emailed to resolve the issue and told after 5 emails to return the mascara at my expense and no sign of the product I ordered.
This company is an absolute joke.

This website is trash. No one replies. They sent me the wrong items. Like what.

Please don't spend your money on this website. I got my order and it was like someone had played football with the box! It was shocking! I emailed them and got absolutely nothing back from them other than saying they would feed it back to their warehouse. Avoid it. Go to any other premium beauty brand - believe me I have shopped at them all - and this was the worst experience I've had.

Can't cancel my order, can't get in touch with customer service neither by call, live chat or email. But my money were taken first thing first :)

The website itself has "try out" features which was helpful to find my tone (but hasn't tried the purchased product yet so not sure if it was really my matching colour!).
Delivery wasn't quick but not slow either, the box of product was squashed as it was in a bubbled envelope, not in a box.
They do have promotion like free samples so I am happy with my purchase overall.

Fast delivery, updated along whole process. Amazing presentation with gift box and the products were exactly as described if not better. Thank you.
