Best tan ever.
Just a note to let you know how great I think your product is. I have been using it for a while now and I am having a great time with it. My ancestry is from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales...etc...basically all the places that don't get tan...and I have the best freaking tan I've had in my life! I am also not getting sunburned outside this year. I live in New Jersey but I have also tested this stuff out in South Carolina with amazing results! Thank you!

I ordered 3 bottles
I ordered 3 bottles, and then 5 bottles of this stuff. I thought after 3 bottles I would give it another go as, apparently, supposed to take the pills with fat for best absorption (that is not made clear on the website, just with a meal). I have I think 2 bottles left now, and my skin tone has not changed AT ALL.
The company does not respond to messages on social media or to e-mails. My advice is to not purchase from this company.
I am only finishing the pills so as not to waste them.

Honestly, this is a rubbish experience and I'm sorry. I've spent the morning with our customer service team going through exactly what went wrong here. It looks like your messages slipped through a gap when we changed how we handle support. We take pride in our customer service, so getting it this wrong stings.
You're totally right about the absorption too. The dose is absorbed with the fat in your meal, so with little or no fat you won't get much out of it. We try to get that across on the site, on social and on the packaging, but your review shows we haven't got the message through yet. I'll make sure we do better on that as well.

Rapid service and delivery, effective product
Rapid service and delivery. The product came in a nicely presented box. Email follow up from a human (I think!).
The product works gradually, I kept to a low dose initially as I didn’t want to go too “tanned”, but it works!

This actually works. I am neither a bot nor hired — just a very satisfied customer. Your skin will get a better "tanned" (olive) kind of tone. I personally thought it was worth it. Their customer service is also excellent; they respond personally within approximately half a day.

Disappointing customer service
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. After receiving my order—but before opening it—I learned I have a medical contraindication and cannot use the product, something that was not reasonably knowable at the time of purchase. Despite explaining this and kindly requesting an exception, they refused to accommodate any exception to their policy. I understand that companies need to have policies in place, but choosing to uphold them without consideration for uncommon or human circumstances reflects poorly on the company as a whole. More concerning than the outcome, though, was the tone of their customer service, which came across as condescending and dismissive throughout our interactions.

I'm sorry about how this unfolded — discovering a contraindication only after purchase is a genuinely frustrating position, and I understand why the outcome felt unfair.
I want to be transparent about the return itself: because our product is an ingestible food supplement, we're unable to take shipped orders back into circulation the way many other products can be returned. It's a hygiene and safety constraint that applies even when the pouch is unopened and the circumstances are as understandable as yours. I recognize that this rule, however necessary, is cold comfort when it lands on a situation you couldn't have predicted.
The reason we hold that line is simple: every pouch we ship has an unbroken, documented chain from production to your door. Once a product has left our control, it can never re-enter that chain. It's the same standard behind our batch testing and published lab results — our customers deserve certainty about what they're putting in their body, and that certainty is not something we're willing to compromise on, even when the individual case deserves sympathy.
What concerns me more in your review is how our communication came across. Condescending or dismissive is not how we want anyone to experience our support — it's not in line with our values, and I'm sorry for the added frustration it caused. We've since gone through this situation internally with our customer service team, reviewed the exchange, and used it to improve how we handle uncommon circumstances like yours — so that policy limits are at least delivered with the care they deserve.
I feel for your situation, and I appreciate you flagging both issues honestly.

Useless product, no money back
I purchased Zephyrian sun tanning supplements with high hopes, especially since the company advertises a money back guarantee if you don’t see results. I took the supplement every single day for 90 days, just as instructed, but unfortunately, I saw absolutely no change—no tan, no improvement, nothing at all.
When I reached out to Zephyrian for a refund, I was shocked by their response. They required that I send them photos to "prove" my lack of progress. I find this request unreasonable and frustrating, especially when the product is supposed to deliver visible results, and there was literally nothing to show.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the company’s customer service. I would not recommend Zephyrian to anyone looking for tanning supplements, as it simply does not work and the refund process is unnecessarily difficult.

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t receive any results even after the full 90 days, and you took the capsules with a meal as instructed.
This is definitely not a typical experience we hear. That's why we initially decided to offer a money-back guarantee. In customer studies focused on the 90-day commitment, we saw how well the product performs when committed to, which made us very confident in its effectiveness.
Despite this, we want to stand behind our promises. In rare cases, people are unable to metabolize carotenoids and therefore do not get results. If our product hasn’t delivered what it promised, we don’t want your money.
We explain the photo requirement in the guarantee terms and conditions, but there is room for improvement, as this came as a surprise to you. We ask for photos as part of the guarantee to prevent misuse, not to complicate the process.
