I can appreciate the application process and how the lending department took a close look at my credentials to see that I was a worthy applicant. Christina Hoven, in documents, was very helpful and gave me options to provide what I needed to submit in order to help further my application.

Thank you for taking the time to provide honest feedback. I want you to know that I researched to get a little more insight into what happened here. After you apply, your school is required to certify your enrollment before your loan can be approved. ZuntaFi sent the required certification to your school on November 8th, however we didn’t receive the certification back until December 28th. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over when your school completes the certification. Once we received the certification, you were approved the same day! While we understand this can be frustrating, we pride ourselves in providing honest, transparent communication regarding this process to ensure you understand the time it takes to obtain your financing. If you have additional questions, I encourage you to reach out to our office so we can make sure all your questions are answered! We are here to help!

The student loan/refinancing process at…
The student loan/refinancing process at ZuntaFi is outrageously slow and not competitive in the market. I've watched several friends and family have loan processes that take a a few days from beginning to end. I have never had a loan/refinancing process that has taken less than two weeks and more often usually around 3 weeks.

After you are approved for financing and accept the terms of the loan, you have the right to cancel your loan up until midnight on the date identified in your Truth-In-Lending Final Disclosure. No funds can be disbursed to your school until after that date. I hope that helps clarify the cancellation period.
