AES Industrial Supplies Ltd, through their site 1stopweldingshop.com, offers a great range of welding supplies at competitive prices with impressive delivery times. Their website is clear and informative, making it easy to find what you need. I also appreciate their ability to source hard-to-find items, like Fronius parts and tig rods, with excellent communication throughout the process. However, I experienced some disappointment with customer service when addressing an issue with a pricey item. Despite this, their product range and efficiency make them a solid choice. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement in after-sales support.

We bought a £500 fronius mig torch from this company in January 2024.

The item has gone faulty ( switch wire ) . It has had very light use since we bought it .
Spoke to the company and they were not interested in rectifying the issue at all .
The gentleman I spoke to said no one gives a warranty on mig torches as it could be misuse that caused the issue .
I offered to send pictures to show that the torch is in nearly new condition but he just said no.
I asked to speak to someone senior to him and he said he was the most senior. I said so you must own the company , he said yes .
Very poor customer service for a very expensive part

every thing was ok

Brought 3 hose from the website, got them sent to New Zealand, one of the hose been the wrong hose, contacted sale support and sent all photos and documents, still denying the hose were sent wrong. luckily i brought 3, the hose were good, but the customer service are worrying if you buying from overseas and likey got the wrong part sent to you.

Not recommend if you buying from overseas.

Your website is clearly labelled and easy to use.

They decided to change the price of the item after purchasing and told me I now had to wait for stock delivery. The item was in stock when I purchased it or I would have gone elsewhere. They decided I needed to pay nearly £400 more plus vat to receive the item in the new year. I had tried to speak to them for several days before this to no avail. There customer service is poor and I would use them or pass there details on to anyone I know

Fast response and delivery. Postal charges to NI quite high though

Website stated goods in stock, only 1 postage option, £11.95 for next day delivery. Once I’d ordered and paid for the items, receipt email stated one item not in stock so delivery for all items wouldn’t be for a month.
I contacted customer service and they said they’d dispatch the in stock item but I would have to pay the delivery charge again for the out of stock item.
I requested to cancel the order, they told me they would try to get the goods by the end of the week. Goods didn’t arrive, again I requested a cancellation of the order and a refund. They then wanted to dispatch just the in stock item and cancel the rest.
I insisted on a full order cancellation and refund. Was refunded in full.
Company shouldn’t state items in stock if they aren’t and next day delivery charge is extortionate if goods can’t be delivered next day. Won’t be using this company again.
