I have used SyncBack Pro for several years, and for anyone who is concerned about backing up and securing his or her data, it is an essential utility. Straightforward to set up and run, it is extremely reliable.
In all this time, I have encountered only a couple of bugs which, when reported to 2BrightSparks, were investigated and rapidly fixed with a software release. Kudos to the authors/creators, who also manage (unlike some software houses) to improve and enhance it without overburdening or overcomplicating it.
I cannot recommend it more highly.

The agent I worked with sent specific instructions how to correct the issue. There were several issues at my end that didn’t allow the program to install correctly. After several more emails to the agent the problem was resolved.

Great product and great service - I use this for all my backups - and there's a LOT of them!

I am a non-tech home user, and found SyncBack recommended when I searched online for backup software when I upgraded to Windows 11. I downloaded and installed the software with no issues, but did struggle a little when creating profiles because the software was different to that which I had previously used. However, the help provided by 2BrightSparks was exemplary and provided very quickly. There is also a lot of help on the website, and under "Help" in the program. I can now say that this program provides all the backup features that anyone might need, and probably some that they didn't even realise were available, and which make backing up more convenient.

I am really very impressed! The program has all the functions and works great. I would particularly like to emphasize the service. I had a question and promptly received a friendly response. Thank you very much!

Helpdesk were quick to suggest a resolution to an issue - which was successful.

I have been a SyncBack Pro user for longer than I can remember. I'm pretty sure it goes back to when they launched, the early 2000s. It is one of my treasured utilities, evolving through generations of Windows. And from then to now, its value and support has been top-shelf. Here's why I love this utility:
- SBP's licensing terms are perfect for a hobbyist like me who runs multiple PCs.
- It has evolved from "bare-bones" functionality to a feature-filled, flexible piece of software that now replaces many of the backups I used to do. With features like commands that run on outcome or before, and others that I still have not needed.
- Their customer service is perfect: Prompt, professional, and has always given me a solution. It is why I am writing this review now. I had a direct-from-cloud backup query (excellent feature!), and was given a solution within a few hours.
I guess you need to be total PC nerd to really understand how good this software is, but it does not require you to be one. Clear instructions, a user-interface for all levels of skill, great support.
I have always thought the company name says it all: This is not a software "product" created in a boardroom or an ad agency. It feels like it was a project by two bright developers who enjoyed creating a great piece of software - and understanding the needs of the people who would use it.
For me - that's perfection.

I received a prompt response to my question regarding transferring SyncBack to a new PC. My question was answered with full details of what to do. Having used SyncBack for a few years now I find it be an excellent way of syncing files on my PCs and backing up files.

I have been using SyncBackPro since last year. It is a very comprehensive backup software. I like the mirror function of it. It can also do ramsomware detection, SSE-C, plus many more.
And the best feature, their customer support is outstanding. They are very reponsive and will work with you until the probelm is solved. They will even go the extra miles to have a beta version ready for you to test your issues.

WE RESOLVED THE PROBLEM AND THE FEEDBACK WAS QUICK.

A small bug was fixed in 48 hours by a (beta) patch. The program is perfect.

Despite the reduced price of SyncBackPro, the support was very quick and efficient in helping me resolve my problem, which is rare enough to be noteworthy. So, thank you again to them.

I have used SyncBackFree for many years. It is a great program. Solid, easy to use and regularly updated.
Recently, I had a "how to use query" which I sent to the Support Team. Although the Free version does not cover formal support, the Team Member was very responsive and helpful and solved my query quickly and efficiency. Thanks

The instructions of the support were very helpful and above all correct It is so easy for me to make the right settings. The tips in the program help are not very helpful and some of them are completely wrong - it just confused me. Apart from that, I think the program is really, really good. It can do a lot, but of course it also requires a lot of settings, which can lead to problems. But if the support works as well as it does with you, then 5 stars!

I am a long time user of SyncBackPro & SyncBackFree, and cannot recommend these products highly enough. They have been easy to use, very fully featured, hugely reliable, and with a strong ongoing development program. I recently reported a minor issue with my understanding of SyncBackPro - I had a response within 24 hours, quickly leading to a resolution. A big thank you to Swapna Naraharisetty who was hugely knowledgeable, helpful and patient.

I received a response to my email question the next day. The instructions to deal with my issue were clear and effective. I am happy with the product and its reliability to back up my data.
