Academics Reviews

Really good recruitment agency in channeling and driving forward for positions that meets attributes and skillset and very excellent support and mental wellbeing in addition. Jordan Divers has been wonderful help to me, has given me the time and advice that good in building confidence and a drive forward in my career and has been great and supportive.

I have used other agencies in the past but these guys are the ones I’ve stayed with long term because they’ve really looked after me. It doesn’t feel like you’re simply working to fulfill a contract (as it’s been with other agencies). Instead, the staff really do care that you’re happy in the job you’re placed in and do their utmost to sort out any issues you may have. Friendly and easygoing but highly organised where it matters. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Academics are really guiding and professional people. They help you step by step to achieve a successful career and they are really fast in communicating with you! Very satisfied with their support and all the effort they did for me. I totally recommend this recruitment agency!

I would recommend Academics to does who want to get their foot in education. Academics have always been a great help in securing me a role in education. Special thanks goes to Isabella, Liz, Dale for been so friendly to me and putting me up front in securing a role in the education sector. Surely is been a great journey and would finally finish off in thanking everyone.

Absolutely amazing service, very efficient, friendly and professional. Sam has gone above and beyond to help me in securing my role. He has been so helpful and lovely throughout the entire process and I could not be more thankful for his help. I would happily recommend Academics to anyone who is looking for a job in education.

The team at Academics are very efficient and quick to find work that actually fits your needs! Paperwork sorted quickly and a role obtained within a week!
Huge thanks to Dale who is friendly and approachable yet always professional and quick to deal with any queries. Definitely recommend these guys.

Lovely company to work for that has managed to get me a contract till the end of the year even in the weird times we are living in, which is greatly appreciated.

If you get Mike you are in for a treat really lovely guy very organised, kind and have had genuinely interesting conversations about socio economic/ sociological differences faced by children in schools.

They took a risk with me as I had little experience but in a matter of weeks I feel confident and comfortable in my work.

I have honestly had the best experience, so helpful from the get go!
Mike has been amazing, encouraging and supportive and he couldn't have found a better placement for me! It wasn't what I expected but it was what I needed, I learned so much, worked with the best students had had the best colleagues anyone could ask for.
I would recommend to anyone

My experience from the start with this agency can be summed up in one phrase: thoroughly professional with a personal touch.

A special shout out to Christine Roseto for finding the perfect school for me where I have been offered, and have accepted, a permanent position.

A very personal and human experience from start to finish. What a refreshing change for an agency to be so caring and friendly as well as efficient and professional. I would recommend Academics to anyone who enjoys and respects a personal yet effective agency.

I would recommend Academics they are a great agency, very helpful with always looking for the right job opportunities that will suit you! They also keep in constant communication with you and are always there to help, offer advice and check up on the work placements.

Been helpful and a good agency. Thank you

As a supply teacher, Academics take my preferences into account and communication is regular and easy.

I would highly recommend using Acaemics. I decided a year ago that I wanted to be a Supply Teacher. They have kept me continously in work, sending me to schools that are in line with my CV, unlike others who sent me for jobs that were not appropriate (a KS2 teacher being sent to teach GCSE Psychology!!) I would recommend Academics to Supply Teachers and to school looking for them. As a previous Deputy Head, I understand what can happen when schools are not matched with suitable candidates.

Having worked for Academics in various placements as a TA, I have found the team excellent. Communication with them is brilliant, they get back to you very quickly with answers to any queries you may have. Throughout the pandemic I have felt very safe and looked after. Navigating their time time sheets is very easy and payment is very prompt. I can't recommend them enough, it's a pleasure to work for them.

A lovely, company to work for, with friendly, knowledgeable staff. They always respond to the needs of the the school and the supply teacher alike, I have been with them for two years and I’m very happy.

“I joined the agency in Doncaster, after moving from Essex, just before the first lockdown. Clare has been very supportive, a true professional. Great communication and alway very well briefed about, location, times and age before arrival. There is always opportunities to discuss work and Clare will always strives to offer you as many opportunities as possible, supporting your professional needs. Very efficient company all round, I would highly recommend working for Academics.

The best ever agency I have worked for. Clare at the Doncaster branch has been nothing but proffessional, helpful, friendly and kind. She has found me work every week for months, working around my personal life. Clare found me a temp to perm position within a nursery, which I absolutely love. Joining academics was the best move I ever made in 35 years of my working life. I can't thank Clare enough. I promise you all, join Academics, you won't regret it.

I would highly recommend Academics to any person looking for teaching and support role in schools. Daniel who was my consultant was honest and transparent throughout the whole recruiting process, relaying all information to me about my potential role. He even regularly checked up with me to see how I was after I was placed at the school.
Daniel took the time to listen to my background and career goals and perfectly matched me into an amazing role and school with great career opportunities. I cannot thank him enough! Additionally, I would also like to thank the admin team for being so quick to respond to queries and sending across all documentation for my contract.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Academics and especially STEPAHNIE WORLD at the Berkhamsted branch. She is an absolute superstar who helped me from the very start of registration, interview, placement in a very good school all the way to the end of securing a very career progressing job. Heart felt gratitude to the support for about nine months now, even through lock down. Could not be happier, excellent rate of pay, hassle free time sheets and on time payment. I give five stars for all the job aspects. Steph has been brilliant, being there for me all the time, encouraging and supportive for all my queries. i owe a lot to Steph and the rest of the team, without their support I would have never been in this position enjoying my dream job. Brilliant guys!! Excellent!! and Thank you once again. Will recommend this agency to all those people out there looking for a dream job.
