The process of getting a school was very smooth and quick with Yasmin. She communicated with me and the school really well. On the phone, she was very polite and kind. Overall, I've had a great experience.

I have been looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the past two months, and during that time, I have been approached by various agencies with job opportunities that I ultimately turned down.

Breaking GDPR and PECR laws. It’s impossible to get them to remove your email from mailing lists. 5 years since first signing up, and multiple requests to delete my data later, and I am still being emailed by them regularly! It’s taking up my whole inbox and driving me crazy. Do not give them your details. Worries me what else illegal they are doing in the company too

Yasmin Boffa at Academics Agency has been consistently unprofessional and frustrating to deal with. When asking for basic, essential information — such as the school location so I can make an informed decision before resigning from my current role — she refuses to share it.

Withholding the location is completely unreasonable. How can anyone decide whether to accept a role, plan travel, or give notice at their current job without knowing WHERE the school is? It is a fundamental piece of information that every professional has a right to know upfront. I can't get any information out of her, it's like getting blood out of a stone. She always asks me if I have resigned, yeah like we can only search and apply for roles if we have resigned!

Instead of being open and helpful, she is stingy with details, evasive, and leaves you guessing at every step. No transparency, no respect for the candidate's decision-making process.

Would not recommend. Look elsewhere for an agency that treats you with respect and shares basic information honestly. Awful experience, she got her chances and now we have had enough!

Academics got me my first job however it didn’t last long. They didn’t interview me or prepare me for the job role. When I resigned I never heard back from them. I have then received emails about other jobs for years now despite asking 5 or 6 times to unsubscribe. I would not recommend.

Senior consultants ( Mr Daniel Wheeler ) are very professional and support the candidate to get successful in interviews with schools or colleges . In my case Mr Wheeler helped me to write CV , collect reference from employers and prepare for my ECT interview with school . Mr Webber spent lot of time to get me to work. It was an amazing experience where senior consultant Mr Wheeler Daniel provided tailored made CV writing support which made my success enhanced . for ibterviwe with schools . Academics recruit very high quality professionals and help them to be successful . Candidates have to have patience suiting recruitment process because of strict rules of compliance, safeguarding and on job training issues following by Academics HR and Compliance team but it does worth and helpful for candidates, and
Monetary rewards given to candidates are very high and reasonable ( depending on experience and qualifications) ( because recruitment process lead by senior consultant like Mr WheelerDaniel are great with good success ratio of candidates to procure new EXT jobs in schools . This excellent experience of assigned and assisted personal support during recruitment process in Academics is missing nowadays and no supply agency in the UK provides this kind of support and it makes Academics different from other agencies . Having said that professional recruitment process is a unique key factor of Academics so candidates keep patience and feel confident to be successful with Academics
