Academics Reviews

Great communication, and so helpful.
Lovely people to work with - I had Jane Crowley who was amazing at helping me with all questions and supporting me during my time with them. Thank you!

I've had the pleasure of working with Academics LTD UK, the past two years, and I can confidently say it's been one of the most positive professional experiences of my career. The company fosters a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous growth. Management is approachable and genuinely invested in employee development, always open to feedback and supportive of career progression.

Communication is clear and transparent across all levels, and the team spirit is truly something special. I've felt valued not just as an employee, but as a person — something that's not always easy to find.

I have always encouragedto continueworking with Academics because it is a company where professionalism meets genuine care, and that makes all the difference.

I've been with Academics for the past three years, and it's been a truly rewarding experience. I applied and got registered within the same week. From day one, Jane Crowley has made me feel supported and valued. Jane is amazing with responses and updates with whatever and whenever it is. She is lovely, caring and makes you feel comfortable to speak to. On my first day, Jane adapted to my work and style preference and put me in a suitable placement which I still work in 3 years later. She would call and text me to check up on me and how my days went. My experience has been truly amazing thanks to Jane!! I always recommend academics to all my friends as my experience has been so amazing.

I joined Academics back in September 2024, and have had a great experience with them! They were able to find me a position very quickly, and the communication has always been amazing. My line manager, Jane Crowley, has always been great at keeping me updated with relevant information, and always providing me with quick responses and support when needed. I would definitely recommend Academics!

I have worked with academics since September 2024 and Jane Crowley, my agent has been amazing at helping me find a job that I love and always supports me which has made my experience with academics great.

I have been working with this company since September 2024. I have been extremely impressed with their professionalism, communication, and ease with which I can talk with them. I have mostly communicated with Daniel Webb, who has always been available to speak with and has kept me informed on all job opportunities that he has available. It's a company definitely worth working for.

I have worked with Academics for over a year now and have been highly impressed with the quality of placements Tej has found me. Tej was warm and personable throughout the recruitment process, taking the time to get to know me and understand my aspirations. She has found me regular work and her communication is first class. I would highly recommend Tej at Academics for anyone wishing to pursue a career in education.

I have worked for Academics for over a year and I can not fault them.

I had never carried out supply teaching before as I was juggling my phd and business full time. Then my husband found himself out of work and I wanted something to fall back on in case I had a quiet month.

I filled something generic in online. Danny from Academics contacted me first. He talked me through expectations and even advised on other agencies as I was getting various emails and calls while on the phone with him.

No other agency introduced themselves so thoroughly and I was so impressed I decided to go with the best first impression. I am so glad I did.

Academics provide flexibility, they work with you to make best use of communications for availability. They discuss long term and short term work. They help to get you the best contracts and negotiate projects on your behalf to best suit everyone. Their training is second to none with what they make available.

Over the last year I have had exactly the right amount of work I needed and felt supported throughout.

I would not hesitate to recommend this agency. And a shout out and special thanks to Danny but all the team are friendly and supportive in equal measures.

Had a great experience working with academics, my point of contact was Tej who was always super helpful, friendly and quick to reply and sort any issues out! Would totally recommend the company and specifically Tej as a recruitment consultant

Working with Academics has been so nice. Sugesh has been so professional, thoughtful and accommodating, I genuinely feel valued with Academics.

Always willing to help and understand

I had the pleasure of working with Tej Bath at Academics, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our initial conversation, Tej demonstrated a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. She took the time to understand my career aspirations and was proactive in matching me with the most suitable post in a lovely school!

Throughout the recruitment process, Tej was incredibly supportive and communicative. She ensured I was well-prepared for each stage and provided timely updates. What truly stood out was her dedication—she made herself available even outside of regular office hours, which made me feel valued and supported at every step.

Thanks to Tej's efforts, I felt confident and well-informed, leading to a smooth and successful placement. If you're looking for a recruitment consultant who genuinely cares about your career and well-being, Tej at Academics is the person to contact.

I have worked with Academics for almost 2 years now. I have no intention to leave them because the service is excellent, awesome and appointments are well managed and planned. Teji is the best 👌. Keep it up

The academic agency is highly professional. My consultant, Tej, is courteous and provides excellent service, demonstrating a thorough understanding of my needs and schedule. I appreciate collaborating with them. Would recommend them to all looking jobs in education.

Having worked for 'Academics', I have nothing but positive things to say, as they found me work straight away, in areas that were appropriate & matched my experience. Chloe kept me up to date with information & told me, she would get me a permanent job role, which she was true to her word, as I am now in a full time job. So, I cannot thank them enough for helping me with my job search.

Academics is a great supply agency, they are really flexible and I love how they call and check in on you to make sure the job is the correct fit for everyone and the feedback is always appreciated as it helps with the betterment of myself.
Emma has been amazing always there when I need her, very understanding, helpful and from day one has made me comfortable. I can’t express enough how much i appreciate her and the work she does and I appreciate that she took the time to know me well enough to know what supplies are suitable for me and the school.

My 18 months working with Academics has been a great, valuable experience. I was at first supported by Paris who helped me find a placement that would benefit me and gain me the most valuable work experience which was super helpful. Since then I have been supported by Sarah, O. who has helped me with any enquiry, request, and advice I have had. She has gone above and beyond!
Both have been compassionate, kind, and it’s evident that they had my best interests at heart. Highly recommend.

I have not had much experience with the rest of Academics, but I have experience with Claire Gill who is superb! Claire works tirelessly and around the clock. I have been employed since 2021 with Academics and I have been supported and recieved regular work throughout this time. When a particular school has not been a good fit for me, Claire is understanding and without judgement swiftly got me more work at another school.

It has been a great and seamless experience with Sugesh Pradeepakumar who was very attentive, helpful, professional and supportive throughout the process. He was keen to find a role that matched my skills, qualifications, experience and salary expectations and was successful in doing so within a short time period. I would recommend this agency and specifically Sugesh to everyone looking for a role in the education sector.

Academics are great! They work with many schools in many areas and always have vacancies so there is always work ready to be taken. Very pleased with them!
