NEGATIVE STARS SHOULD BE A REAL THING WHEN IT COMES TO THIS PHARMACY, WORST HANDS DOWN AT EVERYTHING, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING, YOU TALK TO ONE DEPARTMENT THEN SENT TO ANOTHER ONE FOR HOURS WAITING, JUST HORRIBLE COMPANY, AND UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN PER SAY WHEN IT COMES TO MY INSURANCE

Terrible. They don't even deserve 1 star, How can I give 0? How does a company like this even exist. The US is a 3rd world country when it comes to filling prescriptions and health care now. How does a company like this even to function at all or continue to even exist. Its like they want you to give up and say just forget it, they make everything so confusing to fill a prescription. Call your Doctor, Call your Insurance (who is actually owned by the same company), wait for a call back, oh we're missing your insurance information, we forgot to tell you that two weeks ago when you called. Now we need something from your doctor. Absolutely hysterical, if I didn't laugh about it I'd be crying. Who can you complain to, healthcare and this company is severely broken. My doctor switched medications, Accredo says it'll take a few days, 3 weeks later they're calling me to fill the old medication. They tell me they were missing my insurance information to fill the replacement/new medication. How does this happen? Every person you talk to acts like its the first time you've ever spoken to them and the company, they have no information transfer from rep to rep, no notes left, start over from scratch each time with a different answer, wait for someone to call you back that never does.

Only because zero stars isn’t an option. My insurance placed CVS out of network and put this pharmacy in network. I’m sure the insurance is saving money by using them. Either way, Accredo is the worst of the worst. They are not helpful and will try to send you medications with outrageous bills. You end up having to do your own research and find your own copay assistance, or pay the outrageous charges. They also deny having a supervisor or anyone else you can speak with who might be more helpful. It’s sad that a pharmacy like this can operate. It's my first time ever writing a review. This pharmacy is terrible.
This is one of if not the worst…
This is one of if not the worst specialty pharmacy! First of all, anytime you call you have to go through thousands of prompts before you actually get to speak with a live agent. Once you have a live agent on the phone, they are completely incompetent and depending on who you get, you’re told a different story each time. You can opt to stay on hold for hours in order to speak with a manager who might know what they are talking about, but that may also be unlikely, or you can speak with the representative who has no information and no authority to do anything.
They screwed up my mom‘s prescription and made her miss her scheduled dose because they decided to sit on the prescription and not run the plan until the medication was supposed to be delivered. This was despite notifying us and the doctors office that no PA was needed. They gave us that information without even running her insurance.
Obviously all of this messed up mom’s dosing schedule. We have no idea when or if the PA will get approved because they told us this new important information on the date of delivery despite us calling multiple times weeks in advance for confirmation that nothing was needed.
Then the office completed the PA through Accredo‘s internal PA department and received an approval from the insurance company. Once we had the approval, we were convinced the medication was going to ship, but nope! Then they tried to tell us that her old insurance was still on her file (which wasn’t the case because we asked them to remove it) and that they can’t ship the medication with two different insurance plans on file. Then they tried to tell us we needed two PAs and the list of demands and excuses goes on and on and on.
We finally called the insurance company who said there’s no issue and that the PA was approved, but that the pharmacy is the one who reversed the claim.
Through all of this, I spoke with countless supervisors, was promised escalations and contact by a case manager (which also never happened) and was just told lie after lie after lie, along with my doctors office who experienced all of the same treatment.
Needless to say nothing has yet to be shipped and no one can figure out why. This is an unusual instance where the insurance company is not the bad guy it’s the specialty pharmacy!
So for anyone looking, beware of Accredo because it now takes the cake for the worst specialty pharmacy on the planet!
They don’t care about patients needs and dosing schedules. All they care about is getting their money.
Hopefully we can find a plan that allows us to use another pharmacy and steer clear of this place in the future.

The most incompetent company ever, by a million miles. Absolutely the worst company. They could literally hire random people off the street, put them to work without any training, and customer service would improve 1000 times. Every drug manufacturer, insurance company, doctor, and patient should do everything they can to find a different specialty pharmacy.

They've been a headache every single time they call me. Every time there's a problem covered in red tape. And once the problem has been solved, another problem pops up. They're constantly moving the goal post instead of giving me my prescription. First there was an issue with the insurance paying for it DESPITE Emblem Health's only specialty pharmacy is Accredo. Then my secondary insurance will cover my prescription. Now Accredo will not approve a 90-day supply EVEN THOUGH the insurance will pay for it. None of this makes sense.

This company should NOT even be in business. I have never dealt with a more incompetent business in my life. We unfortunately had to use this for my granddaughter medication which she needs to survive. We have dual insurance plus savings card and they still have no idea how to bill them! Still have a $7000 bill for 30 pills and after two months they still have no idea how to bill insurance companies. Numerous calls from me, thr nurse and even the insurance companies. Still no one ones what they are doing! Oh and you cant order anymore medication unless bill is paid. So who is paying for my granddaughter when she becomes ill and possibly passes away because we cant get anymore medication???!!! This is not at all fair and my granddaughters live should not be on the line for some incompetent people. Cvs specialty pharmacy was never like this.

I wish I could give -10. This is my second review about this company, after being struggling with them for months my medication was sent to my doctor's office, but they charged my insurance and me for the first order I never received (due to their incompetent employees) and was sent back to them last December.

Horrible service. Accredo doesn't even deserve a one star rating. My husband is a new customer and dealing with them has been a nightmare since day one! Every time I speak with customer service they tell me something that isn't true. My husband has now been without his medication for a week because of their ineptness-ridiculous. This should not happen....If I could change pharmacies I would, but apparently Express Scripts is in bed with them.

They keep giving me the runaround. Ask me the same questions over & over. Telling me, that I still need to pay the co-pay, when I already paid it almost 2 months ago.
Their text (on medication delivery) says that the medication will arrive tomorrow, then I get a call from them, they are now telling me, that the medication won't arrive for another month!!
I'm getting sick & tired of listening to all their excuses. These customer service employees, speak lousy english. Dealing with this place, is like talking to a brick wall!!
To get my medication renewed again, I'll have to "jump through all these hoops," again??!! I don't think so. I need to find a better pharmacy - these people AREN'T IT!! These people are so insensitive to people's needs. The impression I get, is that they DON'T CARE.

Would rate a zero if available. Absolutely terrible service, communication, timeliness and care. Accredo is not in the patient care business. We've been on the same insurance (RX BIN, PCN, member ID, group) and medication for 4 years but Accredo continues to have issues dispensing - every single time. This year it only took 7 phone calls and 43 days to successfully navigate Accredo's incompetence. The worst specialty pharmacy on the planet. So sad our insurer is tied to Accredo (and their disgusting constituents)!

This is the worse PBM for medication. As a physician and someone who has to use this for my own medications the level of incompetence is dangerous and should be considered malpractice. I have had my immunological medications delayed for over 2 months due to an oversight on their part and it took me about 6 hours over a matter of 2 weeks to get this fixed.
Even simple tasks such as getting them to email me a receipt can take over 30 minutes on the phone with a representative
