Very thorough,staff and consultant very friendly,u delr at ease. Not akong waiting list

Made me feel at ease right from the time I walked in.

Had the cataract in my left eye sorted at Aces Wisbech and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff.
The assessment took about an hour to do the various tests and the procedure itself only took about 10 minutes and was for me, completely painless, with a total time at Aces of just over an hour.
As soon as my right eye needs doing, I will definitely go back to Aces.

Had a warm welcome, staff friendly, and explained every test beforehand. Also cleaned each piece of equipment after each use. Then explained that I'll get a letter in about a week explaining the results and what will happen next.

Understanding and helpful when changing appointment dates due to illness and bereavement. Friendly helpful staff. Smoothly run clinic

What a welcome. Walking in to find a very friendly face. Smiling. That made us reassured. My partner was having cataract surgery. She was worried but after chatting with the receptionist she reassured. Service top notch. Would recommend this service to friends and family. Well done. Keep up all the hard work.

Ok.but I use Aces a lot and have seen oculists frequently.

Deplorable service avoid this company like the plague!!! Turned up today for scheduled post operation check, they had no knowledge of this despite my confirmation a week ago!!
No apologies no concern not bothered at all. Told them I was caring for a friend after hip surgery and had taken taxis to return to her asap. Again they were not bothered.
This clinic only bothers about paying customers!!

I would rate 0 if it was available and upset at the poor service received at the practice at Dartford Optical Express . I took my elderly father there for laser treatment as recommended by his optician, the optician will now be advised about "recommending" this clinic , my father was to have eye laser through the NHS, unfortunately the machine broke as my father was having the laser treatment, this was back at the beginning of March , was then told her would get appt, did get another appt, then that was cancelled and promised someone would call us on update of the machine, by chance I called a few days ago as we had not got an update as promised , now told it wont happen until the end of July ! I have made 3 seperate calls and left a message for the manager to call me, calls never returned , just called again now and told the machine is being replaced at the end of July and queries should have gone through Aces , they should have kept us informed - Aces never kept us updated and manager at Dartford three times did not return my calls , or perhaps did not get the messages ? Now told best to get a referral elsewhere. So disappointed for my father he's nearly 90 and just wants to read a book and watch TV, very poor unacceptable service. Allison.

I bring my elderly mum to the Peterborough clinic every 6 months. With deteriorating sight mum is always apprehensive. However from the reception area through to the consultants and specialists there is a care and compassion , a warmth sadly rarely seen even in health related organisations. Louisa puts mum at ease with lovely warm greeting and conversation - this is mirrored as specialists update mum about her condition. Today I was following up on a request they made - again genuine personal support was always in evidence. Can’t thank the Peterborough team enough for their support, consistency and care.

Highly professional service, outstanding effort to accommodates us, extra vigilance around a vulnerable patient and extra tests arranged.

How incompetent is this clinic? Oct2025 1st appointment i sat there from 10am for a 10:30 appointment at 15:00 was told they were running behind and would not get to see me that day, it took 6 MONTHS to get another appointment, i had the assesment in April and was given a surgery date of 25th June now that has been cancelled and now July, who is running this fiasco of a clinic

Location much better than a hospital.Staff very pleasant,helpful and efficient.
