The process was very quick and the work has been done to a good standard. The only issue was that the scaffolding erection was changed but we were not advised it had been delayed by 24 hours. then the surveyor apparently measured wrong so there was an overnight delay in finishing the work as additional material was sourced. However we are very happy with the end results and would certainly use the company again for future works when needed.

Active are the third company I have used for replacement double glazing (different houses) and they are certainly the best I have dealt with. I would recommend without hesitation. At no point did I feel any pressure to commit, no hard sell or constant phone calls.
We have had new gutters, fascias and sofits, new composite front door, double glazing throughout and polycarb conservatory roof replaced with a warmer roof. Jason and Kevin kept me fully updated throughout the process which was done in stages and was fully completed today.
Everyone who has attended my property on behalf of Active have been amazing. Arrived when they said they would, worked hard and left everything nice and tidy at the end of the day. Ricky and his mate who did the gutters went above and beyond for me when they saw other issues up there. Phil worked so hard doing all the windows. Keith and Nathan were amazing doing the conservatory and Karol the plasterer was too.
The scaffolding company were great, I would recommend them too.
I now have a super warm house, an amazingly beautiful front door which everyone comments on, and a fantastically warm conservatory.
Really happy and would most definitely recommend to anyone.

The initial market researcher, Dan who came to our door was friendly & helpful. We explained we weren’t planning on getting any immediate work completed but we would appreciate a quote.
That afternoon, a sales man from Active came over. He measured up and then gave us a price, he was extremely pushy. We explained that we weren’t planning on signing up there and then and wanted to plan & discuss alone. He reduced the price to £1400 and we explained we wanted to gather other quotes to see if this is a good price. Again, he was very pushy and rude asking “are you even interested at all?” We explained AGAIN that we are not in position to put across that kind of money without talking it through alone & planning finances. At this point he simply got up and left, he literally stormed out of our house. My husband & I were very shocked. He said he would secure the higher quote and then just left without saying another word. All very pushy & odd, definitely wouldn’t consider using again due to your rude sales people & pushy technique.

Just had 2 large kitchen windows replaced by Phil. A excellent job all round at a reasonable price. Cannot fault the product or service. The kitchen feels warmer already

Excellent service from start to finish. Kev & Phil were very helpful and professional every step of the way. Kev clearly explained whole process and kept us updated frequently with order statue and making sure we are happy with the product and service. Phil very friendly and went above and beyond to replace our windows. He was kind enough to fix our bi-fold doors which was fitted by different company and he did it free of charge.
Windows are very good quality and they look amazing. I would recommend Active Windows anytime.

Fantastic experience from start to finish only had some bi folding doors put into our new extension. We’re prompt and a delight to have in our home left everything clean and tidy . Would highly recommend to any friends or family members. Money well spent will use again

I had a soffit and fascia replaced by this company - they offered a good rate as they were working in the area at the time anyway. The job itself was ok - although they subbed the scaffolding job out to a local company with a poor reputation (but assured me at point of sale they would do the scaffolding themselves). A couple of days after the job was completed the mortar fell out of the verge on the roof tiles where they had lifted them to replace the soffit - fortunately I was not underneath it at the time! Since the job was completed they have phoned me 4 times to try and sell me more products - when I raise the issue of the job that still needs doing to repair the damage from their work, they promise to flag it up to the ‘maintenance team’ but I never hear from them again until they want to sell me something again. Very disappointing service.

UPDATE - The company have responded saying if they don’t know of an issue they cannot do anything about it. I have notified them FOUR times and been promised it will be dealt with, and is then promptly ignored. Please don’t cover up your errors by lying - it just makes your customer service look even worse. A simple arrangement to correct the damage would be easy but you continue to ignore my request and are only interested in selling more products.
I also asked specifically at point of sale about the scaffolding and was assured it was their own company and not sub-contracted - which was a blatant lie if they say they don’t have their own scaffolding.

Don't bother. No coordination between scaffolders and the roofers resulted in long delays in completion of my garage flat roof (8 weeks).
Flashing between the flat roof and house was not done (not on the job sheet) and garage front fascia not done. However the sales man convicted me that ever thing would be done.
I paid a lot of money (5K£ +) for a 14sq meter roof - what a numpty - thought I was getting the best.

What can I say my partner and myself have been extremely impressed with the service and the quality of the work carried out by active windows.

We had a knock at the door from someone at active windows, asking if we'd be interested in getting a quote. We do need some windows replacing so agreed for a sales person to come round to discuss with us later that day.
We thought they would be here about half an hour, would show us the product, measure up, answer questions and let us know a quote for us to think about (I was told on the phone that we would have a 12 month quote, so I didn't think we would have a pushy sales person coming to see us or be in a rush to commit).
When the sales person arrived they were friendly enough but at times bordered on a bit too familiar and asking us personal questions (an example of this was asking how much we paid for our house, which we felt was inappropriate). It took a long time to get to the point of what they were actually there to discuss with us.
Eventually they got a sample from the car to show. After a very lengthy explanation and measuring up, we explained we wanted to get an idea of costs at this stage, so that we could think about it. It is a lot of money to us and something we wanted time to discuss privately. Until the person knocked on our door, we weren't thinking about any immediate work to our home but wanted to see what a local company could offer.
The sales technique was pushy, condescending and uncomfortable. The sales person was in our home for nearly 3 hours in total and I can honestly say the experience was, at times, unpleasant. The prices quoted were not unreasonable but being made to feel we had to make a decision on the spot made us very uncomfortable.
I appreciate the sales person was only doing their job and they want to secure sales but the manner in which they went about it was concerning. I would worry about a more vulnerable person agreeing to a sale, purely to get the person to leave their home.

i had a researcher for active windows callon me [adam dodds] very pushy with a hard sell attitude.Tried to frighten me by telling me my existing windows are unsafe and he was also very rude.I actually need new french doors fitted but i have researched online and found a reputable company.I would never use a company like active windows who resort to using such hard sell tactics and who employ such rude pushy people like adam dobbs the companies reply stating i have got the wrong company is innacurate.I have their leaflet in my hand which the researcher adam dobbs left with me .It has the same house logo which is displayed at the top of this page and it is showing their website as www.active windows.co.uk so i certainly have got the correct company and my honest review stands

Just had my new conservatory installed and can't be any happier. From start to finish the whole process has been incredible. All staff have been true professionals, communication also has been top notch. For my new conservatory, absolutely stunning. Would recommend to anyone looking for home improvements.

After having our windows for a year, I can't help but edit my review to portray my true feelings from the experience. I'll start with the positives:
-covid safety measures taken seriously throughout the installation
-problems with fitting/adjusting have been swiftly dealt with
-staff have always been friendly om the phone

However, I can't get over the fact that we were sold different windows to what we asked for. The salesman assured us we were getting high end koemmerling windows, yet the windows installed Into our home are a different brand with lower spec glass panes than what was advertised. As a result of this the noise attenuation hasn't been what I'd hoped for and that has left me dissapointed.
I understand that through covid getting stock must have been difficult, but this should have been discussed with me before the windows were installed.
I advise anyone on looking for new windows to look into exactly what's been offered, and keep record of the quoted specs to compare to what turns up.

Staff are polite and helpful, they show so much understanding and knowledge and explain everything in detail. By far the best experience I have had, will certainly be recommending you to my friends and family. Keep up the good work

After selecting a few companies to get the age old visit of the window salesman, we were pleasantly surprised with the agent from Active Windows,
He walked us through the products, the features and benefits along with a hands on example, giving us the confidence in what we were buying would last and withstand the elements and still remain functional.
From discussion to pricing was quick and efficient, and even with options and changes in our original need, nothing was too much.
Price agreed and dates in the diary for installation. Notified a few weeks before confirming fitting date. The week before and even the day before to reassure nothing had changed and that the fitters and their vehicle would be onsite, making sure our access was blocked.
Removal and fitting completed within the agreed timescale and the fitters were polite, clean and looked after our home.

Upon completion we had the fitting manager back on site to make sure we were happy and all work was completed to our satisfaction, snagged every window and door, and no problems found.

We would recommend Activewindows to anyone looking for a great price, great service and the personal touch, some major companies lack.
I gave them the acumen of big enough to cope, small enough to care!

I have brand new carpets and was a little on edge about any mess, but they put dust sheets down and were very considerate and tidy.
