Pagué un plan vitalicio de nivel 4 en julio de 2021, que se actualizó a un plan vitalicio de nivel 5 en enero de 2022.
Ahora, Adilo ha cancelado unilateralmente el plan vitalicio, lo que ha resultado en la pérdida de todo el trabajo que he realizado durante estos años, y exige un pago anual de 499 dólares para seguir usando su servidor.
Adilo se queda con tu dinero y no cumple el contrato.
No son de fiar.

They're complete and utter scoundrels!
In July 2021, I paid for a Level 4 lifetime plan, which was upgraded to a Level 5 lifetime plan in January 2022.
Now, Adillo has unilaterally canceled the lifetime plan, resulting in the loss of all the work I've done over these years, and is demanding an annual payment of $499 to continue using their server.
Adilo takes your money and doesn't honor the contract.
Fraudulent bunch of crooks!

Normally I come on to Trustpilot to give a poor review for a product that didn't live up to its hype. But this time I'd like to reward a product that does. I've had my Adilo account for several years now and it has always performed at least the way I expected it to. AND I continue to find out things it can do that are above and beyond. I love my Adilo account. Thanks, Adilo, for being one of the good ones.

Do not trust Adilo. I purchased unlimmited lifetime access only to be informed after trusting them with my content that if I didn't start paying a high monthly fee they would delete ALL of my critical content. They wouldn't even honor our request for a little more time to complete moving it. It's as if they were trying to ensure we'd have to pay them more. I had to devote several of my team to get our content to safety. This whole ordeal felt criminal. DO NOT TRUST ADILO WITH YOUR CONTENT. They care nothing about you. Once they have your content they will use it to extort more money from you.

GARBAGE - No video ever worked on any website. They promote one thing and support sends you to the "tech team" which does not exist! Waste of money and time - do not recommend!

I purchased a Business Lifetime plan from Adilo in 2021, fully paid upfront (€354.55), clearly advertised and invoiced as lifetime — no renewal, no subscription, no recurring fees.

In February 2026, Adilo unilaterally suspended my account unless I agreed to migrate to a paid subscription.

Their justification is that the lifetime model is now “unsustainable” due to infrastructure costs. While that may be a business challenge, it is not a valid excuse to retroactively break a paid agreement.

What makes this worse is how it was handled:

No meaningful alternatives.

No proportional compensation.

No acknowledgment of ethical responsibility.

Just repeated copy-paste references to Terms of Service claiming absolute discretion.

The platform still displays my plan as “Business Lifetime – €354.55 / lifetime”, yet the service is suspended. That contradiction says everything.

This is not about technology or costs.
It’s about trust.

Early customers who supported the platform with upfront payments were simply discarded once they became inconvenient. A “lifetime” that only lasts until the business model changes is not a lifetime — it’s misleading at best.

I chose not to pursue legal action because the amount is not worth the time and stress. But future customers deserve to know how Adilo treats users when commitments become inconvenient.

Proceed with caution.

Adilo offered a lifetime deal I paid over $400+ and now I am being charged a subscription fee? This is a bait and switch tactic Adilo. Do not trust this company. Everyone must also email App Sumo and keep them accountable for working with these scammers. App Sumo needs to sue Adilo and get everyone their money back.

This is a disgrace. I dropped over $300 on a service that promised to be 'lifetime,' yet they don't even deliver the bare minimum.

From now on, AppSumo needs to clarify: 'Lifetime access... as long as the vendor feels like it.' Adilo is fully responsible, sure, but I paid AppSumo—and just like me, so did hundreds or thousands of other people.

I wish you the best personally, because professionally, you have a lot of room for improvement. I no longer trust any product you sell.

I've been very happily using Adilo as video hosting for almost 4 years - Initially through an Appsumo lifetime deal then directly upgrading through Adilo for another lifetime deal.

Cue Nov 2025 "We're no longer supporting lifetime deals" So move to a subscribtion or we delete your account. Criminal.

I understand everybody's costs have risen however this is commercial blackmail and I fear a huge mis-step for Adilo - Imagine if Apple turned round tomorrow and said "BTW if you don't own a iPhone 17 and pay us $30 per month we'll brick your phone" basically commercial suicide - If you have cash flow or commercial issue you resolve them by improving your offer , attracting new and more customers - Generally you don't improve your business by trashing your reputation.

A great shame as Adilo is a great video platform, generally very reliable and has many features others don't. Unlike other's experiences I've always found support helpful and quick - however I'll not be gouged and blackmailed into parting with more $

Adilo are scammers. They offered lifetime accounts and now they're canceling them all; there's already a thread about it on Reddit. They broke their agreements, and I don't recommend anyone use them.

I've been using Adilo since Sept 2023, created numerous video products for my business and the businesses of my clients. Like many AppSumo users did. Now they terminate accounts at their sole discretion. You can never trust this SaaS to be your partner for your business!!!.

Scam. These people are the worst. Don't trust a thing they offer. Run. The worst anger I have felt at anyone on the internet.

Worst company. They cancelled the lifetime contract after paying $550. Even before they did this. Support was diabolical slow unhelpful uninterested. they take your money and they don’t care about you. Stay away, big scam do not subscribe or pay them one cent

Adilo’s switching lifetime accounts to subscriptions, that is frustrating, annoying and it goes against their agreement with us.

Terrible products, terrible customer service and no integrity. Don't buy anything from them.

They don't keep their promises, but what's more, although there is a chat support person, they have no control over solving problems, and on several occasions I've been waiting for over 10 hours, asking questions, with support giving me the runaround... It's not reliable.

One of the worst companies on the planet... they will scam you like never before. Issues don't get fixed, requests dont get handled, and they move on to another project once they are done with one and forget their past customers.

I had two different plans actually before any appsumo lifetime deal... I bought a plan directly from them during the initial launch on a facebook promotion. However, I guess after they did some promotion on Appsumo within a month everyones plan (including mine) was suspended. They obviously didnt do their budgeting or planning properly. But they just do money grabs and then killed off everyone asking for more money.

Every few months I have trouble accessing the content. It takes many days (even 10) to resolve that every time. Slow customer service and tech support. And the same issue reappears every time.

Jetzt wird Adilo unseriös und beendet mit 4 Wochenfrist den Lifetime-Vertrag wg. der Gefahr, dass Adilo unrentabel und aufgeben müsste und zwingt zum Wechsel in eines ihrer monatlichen Programme oder Löschung aller Videos auf der Plattform! Zur gleichen Zeit erhöht Vimeo kostenfrei den Speicherplatz von 250 GB auf 2 TB... da ziehen meines Videos wieder zu einem seriösen Anbieter zurück. Adilo hat also beschlossen, ihre Bedingungen für alle Planinhaber zu aktualisieren, einschließlich der Menschen, die zuerst an sie geglaubt haben und sie ermöglicht haben, zu ihrer jetztigen Marktposition zu kommen. Lifetime-Deal-Inhaber, wie ich, haben Hunderte (und in die Tausende) für versprochene Lifetime-Lösungen bezahlt. Jetzt haben die Leute bei BigCommand hinter Adilo und 4KPlayer (der auch ohne Notiz abgeschaltet wurde) und erklärt, dass alle Lifetime-Deal-Konten ohne Umstieg auf monatliche Kosten gelöscht werden. Sie verlangen von den LTD Kunden, die gleiche monatliche Gebühr zu zahlen, die neue Kunden zahlen würden (und ignorieren dabei völlig die Tatsache, dass sie ohne die Unterstützung von Hunderten von Lifetime-Deal-Käufern, die 10-mal mehr als die meisten Lifetime-Deals für Software bezahlt haben, nicht existieren würden). Anstatt ihr Produkt tatsächlich an neue Kunden zu vermarkten oder das Produkt zu verbessern, ködern sie und wechseln bei Leuten, die bereits bezahlt haben.

I got scammed. I paid $590 for a life time membership and they alerted me they were now changing to a subscription model and will not honor the life time contract.

absolutely horrible company with no integrity.
most of the time the videos you upload doesn't render and you have to complain only to get told to reupload.
and then their service just goes down without notice.

i recently started fighting with them now for over 3 weeks because they break the ssl on their services and now all the videos on my courses are all dead in the water and they first made a bunch of promises and then just stopped responding.

guess the reason their opening prices where so good becomes obvious once you start using them
