Great customer support and features
Great customer support who cares and follows up (thank you, Vivian!). The platform is great to host videos with tons of customization options.
Full of bugs since day 1
I've been using Adilo for 10 months and unfortunately, there hasn't been a single month in which I didn't message the customer service for bugs.
Sometimes the videos won't work or stop in the middle, sometimes the upload doesn't work, at the beginning my bandwidth didn't reset, and some things still don't work to today.
I'm typically not a customer that writes bad reviews, but this is just unacceptable.
Can't trust Adilo with your videos
I had Adilo for a year and recently they updated the "Page view" and now the page shows all the videos you have in the project bin.
So you technically can't have private videos unless they are on a different project or by sharing video link and not page link.
The downside to this is not only all my videos are practically public now but also anyone or anywhere ever I posted a page view link will practically give them access to all my clients only video.
Support isn't very helpful so in short if you want to have a page with a video where viewers can watch and comment, that page will also show all other videos in the project, or you can share the video link and the viewer now can only watch and can't comment.
Furthermore, they never let the users know. I had a customer that bought a lesson tell me "I didn't realise I get the other lessons for free".

Tried to cancel this service since April - still charging my account after promising refunds since April 2024. There is an open case with the attorney general of state of Florida. Definitely not recommended and classified as a scam for sure
Finally someone responded after multiple extra actions taken - if you need this service cancelled:
👉 Step 1 open a complaint file with your STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL
👉 Step 2 - Open a TRUST PILOT Complaint regarding Adillo
🔥Finally after 3 months of aggravation they finally refunded
✅ Should a consumer have to go through all that in order to cancel a service => ABSOLUTELY NOT

This software is fantastic. Really intuitive interface, beautiful design, and does exactly as promised. I needed some help with switching my plan and customer service and tech got right to work helping me! Would highly recommend.

Although there might be some UI glitches here and there it is doing what it promises and is fulfilling my expectations as a customer fully.

Intuitive interface and good customer support
The platform is mostly intuitive and support is eager to help. The only thing that made me give it four stars instead of five is that communication could have been more proactive but in all cases, my issue was resolved.
The platform allows me to store my videos outside of YouTube, which is important for assets that require no distraction by other videos like it is the case on social media platforms.
An important feature is the custom domain.
Adilo let's me add chapters, CTAs as overlay buttons, customize the video frame to match my brand and preferences, and so on.
Adilo is just what I was looking for
Adilo is exactly what I was looking for. Somewhere to host, share, stream and even record video, audio and more. It keeps getting better, with more new features added.
I haven't encountered any problems at all. It's been reasonably easy to learn, and when I've needed help to understand or implement something, the help desk support has been 110% amazing, going the extra mile to make sure things are running smoothly.
I bought the agency lifetime plan some…
I bought the agency lifetime plan some time ago - and it is not good.
- The hosting works, when the videos are embedded on a page they load slow.
- There is an Onboarding-secion on the dashboard, abd after going trough the onboarding this section stays there and i have to scroll down each time. On the Screenshots on their product page this onboarding section is not visible. They told me that it cant be hidden.
But there is one big think that took all the trust away:

Beginning July 1, 2024, all advanced video security and anti-piracy tools will be available as an add-on tool to serve you better and efficiently.
The affected anti-piracy tools are:
- Multi-DRM encryption
- Dynamic watermarking
- Viewer authentication
- IP whitelisting & licensing
- Geolocation
These advanced anti-piracy content protection tools will no longer be included in regular plans such as Business, Growth, Standard, Elite, Unlimited Agency, etc.
The only way to use these extra content security tools will be by subscribing to the Unified Video Security add-on which will be available as a pack in the Add-on Marketplace.
Stand video privacy such as Password locking & Domain whitelisting will continue to be 100% available on all accounts free of charge.
This change will allow us to provide a service at a cost that reflects the value and market reality while meeting the financial obligations of our content security partnership agreements.
With this new approach, users needing advanced video security such as online course creators, educational institutions, business coaches, and more can leverage the service on a need-basis and bear only the cost of what they consume.

So after buying an lifetime plan and trusting them they start to take features away - how can i trust them anymore? I think staying with Vimeo would have been much better.
Great features on lifetime deal, but deactivates if you don't log in frequently.
I had problems logging in, as my account was not recognised, even though I had bought the lifetime deal and had a number of videos uploaded there. It was frustrating as I had to wait to be reactivated. The issue was eventually resolved by Vivian, who kindly took the time to explain on a call why it had been deactivated. Now that I understand it will be dactivated unless I log in on a monthly basis at least, I will make a point of doing that. It is frustrating to have to wait to be reactivated, but I understand it is for security purposes ultimately. If anyone else encounters these problems, just reach out to customer service and they will reactivate within 24 hours (although you will need to monitor your email for the activation link!).
Excellent service from adilo Support
I receive excellent service from adilo customer support whenever I need it they try their best to help me in anyway they can and are always ready to help. Sometimes they need some things to go to tech support and I get that with any serious software if there is a glitch tghey need to check stuff out and sometimes it takes some time but most of the time they fix things the same or next day!

Horrible customer service...
I got their Facebook ad for a limited lifetime deal. The landing page was full of urgency and promises that the software would solve all problems regarding video hosting and streaming.
They offer af 14 day back guarantee if it doesn't live up to the promise.
So i bought the lifetime deal and got access.
My first issue was, that there is no direct links for the different size formats. If i upload a 4K video i might only want to use a 720p version in an app but on desktop i use 1080p.
They praise that i should use their player, but it is not an option for the platforms i use - so i have to use a direct mp4 link.
The transcoding of the files are not good in my opinion also, and there is no option for me to change these settings at all.
Adilo by default generates multiple sizes of the video, and you pay for the storage of these, even if you dont use them. Why cant i turn off certain sizes??
All in all the platform lacks customization. So if you want something you can tweak to become perfect, this is not the platform for you.
I have contacted the Adilo team 4 times now and in all times, when i mention the 14 day moneyback guarantee they just stop responding to my messages.

Previously I have posted my review on July 21, 2021 based on Quality of product of Adilo, which is A1 as ever, no doubt, even now I got clear video quality on 3G speed. But today here I am touching the remaining portion of Adilo services which is 'Adilo's customer services.'
Due to my fault my Adilo account with Appsumo Tier5 plan was deleted by me and I was so tensioned because I was assuming no solution of it. I contacted 'Vivian from Adilo customer care' she listen my problem carefully after verifying my details she activated my Adilo account.
Friends, Adilo customer care( Vivian) could also refuse my request on ground that I was responsible for all that happed but she ( Adilo) showed a kind and big heart towards my request and returned my account as it was. No arguments no bargains Just a heathy solution That impressed me a lot.
Now a days, when Companies are using shady tactics to eliminate their LTD customers, Adilo shows a big heart to their customers; is just a shining moon in a total dark sky.
I hope Adilo will progress so far in future to provide best services in market.

When I first met Adilo, I had a lot of doubts about its functionality. But doubts didn't take much time to turn into trust. Adilo was a place where users had CS ability to be satisfied. The cause of my minor complaint was a lack of knowledge about using SW. Vivian, the CS representative of Adilo, was considerate of me as a foreigner who was not fluent in English. She even took the inconvenience of translating on her own and solved my problem. My problem was solved by her. Thank you. Adilo!
