The Customer Service Agent For This Company Kept Talking Over Me & That Is My Bug Bearer Lost My Temper With The Agent
Kept Saying We Can,t Set Up A Payment Plan To Pay My Debt Bck Of £1 A Month Without My Financial Statement ( Sorry But That Is Private Information ) As Been Told Don,t Give Any Info To Anyone
Not Happy With This Company I WILL NOT GIVE ANYONE MY FINANCIAL INFO (DEBT AGENCYS)

They wrote me 2 letters saying I owe them like £1257.- from HMRC self assessment.
Ive never been self employed, I called HMRC they said its false.

Police are called and this is clearly a scam.

My experience was exceptional as my phone call was picked quickly and the agent who dealt with my query was a good listener. This person clearly understood my query, she was patient with me and her tone was reassuring and compassionate. She made me feel at ease and I was able to discuss my payment plan calmly. She is knowledgeable and master her interaction with the client. I appreciated her help and would like to commend her good work and share my experience with her manager and her team. She is the right person in this post.

Received a text saying Advantis were now managing my H M Revenue & Customs account. It told me to take action now and provided me with a 8-digit reference.
I always pay my tax and I was not aware that I owed any tax as my online account with HMRC say "Nothing was due"
I called Advantis and quoted the reference number I was provided with. I was asked my name, and then told then had got the wrong person.
In my opinion it is a disgrace that these companies (acting on HMRC behalf) send these type of texts to people, causing alarm and anxiety, yet they are too lazy to check the information they have is correct.
Are these companies regulated?

The customer service representative, Lucas, that took my call was brilliant. Right from the start he spoke to me calmly. I felt listened to and reassured. He was non judgmental of my situation. He came up with a proactive way, with me , so that I came away from the call, knowing the steps that I needed to take to resolve my situation. He also gave me an additional thirty day breathing space . Brilliant service.

It was a very easy chat and straight to the point. Sophie was considering and helpful. I am happy with the outcome.

I received an un expected historic tax demand which was passed on to Advantis to recover .
I felt overwhelmed and desperately depressed as I have been suffering with mental health issues and didn’t know what to do .
The agent I spoke with ( her name was Emily ) was excellent and very kind , thoughtful and empathetic . She listened to me without judgement and helped me tremendously.

Emily , you are a bright star and a lovely lady and I will always be grateful for your assistance . A true credit to the company .

My advice to others in the same situation would be to call this company. They are genuine and supportive and have a plethora of knowledge and aids to help clients

Sofia, was very helpful and did her best in trying to resolve the issue. However, it wasn't an easy problem to resolve as it required additional information which was not available.

Currently on hold to these guys, dragging their feet about returning my refund. I call them multiple times every week since I was supposed to receive this and still not gotten it returned. When I was initially making these payments for legal aid I was paying monthly as a direct debit. Back then they were named Marston holdings, they changed their name and therefore banking information too and my direct debt bounced through no fault of my own. Because of this they said I wasn’t entitled to the full legal aid subsidy as had to pay the full amount. After days of back and forth they did honour the original agreement but not until I complained about their practices and escalated it through the company. My point is that if you owe them money within the week they will make sure it’s paid or give you HEAVY penalties but when they owe you the best part of 3k they’ll drag their feet and say it’s gone to the finance people who don’t have a phone number and not reachable apart from through email within their company. Staff are lovely, can’t fault them as they really do seem to be chasing it however it’s the practices of the company that are diabolical.

Sophia was helpful. It is genuinely valuable to be able to chat with a human trying to understand your issues and willing to help. Even though the initial questions are always annoying (you fill in the form and then you have to give your details again), but when it got to sorting out the issue, I could feel that the manager on the other end was trying to help and find the right solution.

I'm autistic and was very stressed about contacting them but I spoke to Sophia through their webchat who was very friendly and understanding of my situation
