Helpful human response
Sophia was helpful. It is genuinely valuable to be able to chat with a human trying to understand your issues and willing to help. Even though the initial questions are always annoying (you fill in the form and then you have to give your details again), but when it got to sorting out the issue, I could feel that the manager on the other end was trying to help and find the right solution.

Just had an online chat with Sophia, she was brilliant, friendly and understood the issues. Got things sorted out quickly. Unfortunately the systems at Advantis are not great because you cant have multiple reference accounts with one online account / email address. Needs fixing.

Atrocious business
Atrocious business. The fact I had no option but to deal with them through the Legal Aid process caused stress, anxiety and frustration more so than the actual legal process itself. The company has THE WORST communication I have ever experienced. The staff are unknowledgable, unhelpful and uncaring. The automated emails and letters are late, inaccurate, and at a frequency that borders harassment. Replies to emails take 6+ working days to receive and do not actually resolve any issues. This company being the default for Legal Aid is absolutely astonishing. I would check their reviews on Google Maps instead of TrustPilot as I believe they are more accurate, truthful and reliable.

I had a wonderful chat with Charlie this morning to sort out my payments. My circumstances have hugely changed with a brain tumour & my wife and I are not going to be able to work whilst I recover. Helpful and positive in sorting out a stressful thing.
So far all contact with Advantis has been positive. They have been helpful and polite. Allowing me to put the payment requested on hold whilst we try to sort things out. They have given information required and have not been pushy in trying to recover the debt. Will up date review if any changes once fully sorted.

Oliver you are a wonderful soul!
I spoke to a gentleman called Oliver, You have been a huge credit to your employer. I am appreciative for your aid & assistance & lack of judgement to my circumstances. I hope your management have the ability to read this & see how approachable & understanding you are. As a sole carer of my wife & having no support & drowning in debt & enforcement officers on my back from other creditors, i thought i would be over seen & struggle even more so. However Oliver was respectful & gave me time & not feel rushed. Gave me 30days to organise help for my debt with no shame needing a bit of time. Even suggested a organisation with contact numbers, website, opening hours which will be hugely beneficial.

Fraudulent. Don't engage with them.
Fraudulent. Don't engage with them. They'll send a letter requiring payment of tax. You pay promptly. They provide emailed receipt. Then they send ANOTHER demand letter. You go online to remonstrate, but they assert that your email and password are wrong so you can't access your "account". You know the details are correct but you change the password anyway. Again, they assert it's wrong. You email them to complain. They send an automatic email demanding a lot more of your personal details. See how they work? Don't touch them!
