Absolutely atrocious platform. I cancelled my subscription and they carried on charging me and just trying to find out how to cancel is virtually impossible. This isa scam tactic. shame on you.

No customer support/no sales support
We are mature tech start up, having used Airtable for CRM and Product HW and SW services, using a lot of bases and synching among them. The recent subscription model changes have resulted in a huge price increase per seat per month (25 to 45) with a feature change (multi synching being available only in the more expensive option) for the Pro subscription. While we are a small time customer with about 5k spend on Airtable p.a. the transition time to the new pricing was too short. We tried contacting sales and support team but they never responded to 4 of our emails during the last month. Overall this is totally unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour. I hope AT can get back on track with this.

I'm using Airtable for the second time as a CRM system and a repository for varied research data. To me, it stands out as the best market solution for structuring everything neatly in tables with a user-friendly interface. It's a definite step up from Google Sheets.

Horrible customer support & billing issues
Horrible customer support had billing issues where I was being double charged from the same service for the same email address and refused to refund.
While the product may work and be a quick fix you are better investing in a long-term solution where they will partner with you.

I started a small business and used Airtable to host my data. During a rebranding campaign, I changed my emails in the account. My bases and all the data just disappeared after the email change. All my sales operations came to halt because of it. It took 6 days for Airtable to get back to my initial request with no solution provided. Its been 10 days and still no response or an explanation to where the data went. I will have to do 3 weeks worth of setup again because of Airtable. Decent product. Non existent customer support.
Good and easy to use
I have been staying with airtable for 3 years, it's very simple to use, I only use quite simple functions, didn't try like Gant or other complex functions.
It's a good replacement of Excel, with a lot of views and filters, we use it for product category, simple financial analysis and payment processing.
They will do everything to charge you

Airtable is a fantastic product but as the reviews outline below, as soon as something goes wrong there is no support available. We have paid for a PRO plan but due to a billing glitch we were unable to fix manually, we are now on PLUS plan despite paying in full for a PRO plan at the start of the year. I have contacted them multiple times as features we need to use every day are currently not available to us and despite flagging this issue as business critical, we have received no response.
Please help us resolve this issue ASAP.
Terrible support
We had a terrible experience with Airtable support recently. They restricted our workspace, which left us unable to use our base for more than two weeks. This was a huge problem for us, as our business relies entirely on our Airtable information, which is tied up with all of our websites, day-to-day operations, and payments. Needless to say, we were extremely frustrated with the situation and the lack of support we received from Airtable.
To make things worse, their support team only answered our inquiries after 1-2 days, which made the situation even more unbearable. It was also very hard to upgrade our plan and unlock our base, which made us lose valuable time and money.
Serious loss of Airtable functionality
Most Airtable functionality is unavailable.
I have been using the free Airtable functionality for over a year or more. It looks amazing, but is complex. I'm not an experienced database designer, so my usage has been basic and intermittent since I could not figure out how to use it well.
There were quite a few problems I encountered over time and I got the canned responses others have commented on. It was clear they want to focus on their core business users, not small, free users like me.
I accepted this and persevered, but less frequently. There are many updates to the software.
Recently, I tried to use the software via my iPhone and ran into serious usability problems. In particular, writing in a long text field caused the field to jump around so I could not reliably see what I was writing. I have just discovered that the field moves between two places with each character that is typed. Unusable like this.
I looked more closely. Now I can only access one database from my PC or iPhone. There is no warning about this. I am reluctant to upgrade to get access to data I have put in, unless I have confidence this company is going to support small users like me.
Note, I have now found a way around this problem, but this examples highlights this platform is changing often and users need to keep up to date to use it well.
I could rate them as 1 since this is really bad practice. I think they are very unaware of their smaller, less profitable customers. However, in principle, the SW looks promising, but I would want to have real expertise and resources behind me before I started experimenting with this Software seriously. In particular, ensure I got meaningful responses from customer services.
uploads stopped working- no customer service on weekends
For my business speed is everything. My team and I were uploading images into a table and suddenly started getting errors and couldnt upload.
We were on a deadline to put together a catalogue and due to this system error could not complete the project in time. There was no explanation why this is happening. The only resort was to open customer ticket. But since Customer service work only Mon-Fri office hours I now will have to wait to resolve this until Monday. So my team had nothing to do from Friday to Monday because of this tool.

SELLING YOUR E-MAIL TO SPAMCOMPANIES
I keep getting e-mail from, for example, something called "Capital" on a suspicious XYZ domain. The e-mail this "Capital" is using, has ONLY been used by Airtable.com - There is a 0% chance this e-mail has been used anywhere else, looking at the address I have used.
Airtable sells your data, no matter what, within 2 months of signing up. Be aware of this.
Horrible customer support
I recently subscribed to Airtable's enterprise plan, which was advertised as having "personalized customer support." Unfortunately, this couldn't be further from the truth. The customer support was horrible, and I was consistently ignored when trying to reach out for assistance.
Despite paying for the enterprise plan, I found it nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone who could help me. My emails were ignored, and when I finally managed to connect with someone, the support was inadequate and unhelpful. It was clear that they did not respect their engagement with the enterprise plan.
I eventually had to request to cancel the plan due to the terrible customer support. It's no surprise that Airtable has a low Trust Pilot rating, as my experience with their customer service was completely unacceptable.
In conclusion, I would give Airtable a 1 out of 5 rating due to their horrible customer support and failure to deliver on the promises made with their enterprise plan.

AirTable Support is AWFUL--Phone Option Needed
Our nonprofit has utilized AirTable for the last 2 years--it's how we track our grant funding and outcomes for that funding. For the last 3 weeks, I have been trying to update our payment information, as our debit card had to be replaced after it was misplaced and we had the bank cancel the old one. AirTable kept trying to use our old card while I kept trying to update our account with a new card. They would not allow me to add a new card to the account and now our account is suspended. And the chat/email messages I get are all canned--they keep referring me to the same 2 "solutions" that have nothing to do with this situation. And now...crickets. AirTable is a great product--but their "support" is awful. Get a phone option, people!
