This is another estate agent who discriminate between the rich and poor by opting to use a unfair third party referencing agency when they could use a much fairer agency. Another house I tried to view and they objected because I wasn't rich enough yet after I had done all my calculations the house was definitely affordable that's when I then enquired to view it. I was sent a questionnaire. The rent was £1,200 and that would equal £14,400 for 12 months yet Albion sales & Lettings informed me I must earn 2.5 the annual rent so that's £36,000 yet contradictingly on the website is a printable .PDF leaflet published this month which I later found after the house had gone, indicating I must earn 25 times the monthly rent so that's £6,000 less! If I had been made aware of this, I may've been able to source the extra shortfall from a relative. So between themselves and the referencing agency it has been immediately determined when they've never dealt with me before the rest of my outgoing costs would equal in or around £21,600 if going by what's on their questionnaire or £6,000 less if going by the .PDF leaflet! They didn't ask to look into my credit record, bills or anything even after I told them come the end of the month I'd have around £563.90 left on top of savings equating month by month. The generic questionnaire seems to imply the adverts/properties are aimed at the working class only given a particular question on the form reading "please confirm if you and all others applying for tenancy are employed, self-employed or on a temporary contract and tell us what you each do as your job (please list)." so it appears as if you don't have the option to select unemployed/disabled and therefore you must be working. The questionnaire doesn't illicitly indicate whether forms of Universal Credit including LHA or Personal Independence Payment are accepted towards rent. I did try to enquire which third party referencing agent they use so I can cross check information and enquire about their unfair policies and I never got the answer. I wouldn't recomend this estate agent.

We have been renting a property through Albion for the last 4 years, but unfortunately our Landlords sold the property, Albion have been fantastic in their care and understanding as this was a stressful time, as moving can be, Unfortunately the Team didn't have anything suitable for us, so we have had to change agencies which is very disappointing

I was looking for a property in difficult circumstances, the ladies at Albion Sales and Lettings were incredibly helpful in finding me a property, they are informative, they give time, they are compassionate, kind and considerate, Since moving in I have found that their maintenance process is very easy to use and the maintenance team are very quick to respond, capable and reliable, I would highly recommend renting with Albion.

I felt I needed to write about the 5 star service I received from this company taking into account there are often negatives about letting agencies.

I rented two properties through this letting agency from around 2012 until this year following a change in my circumstances.

The staff were always respectful and responded to any repairs that needed completing which is not always easy depending on who ever the landlord maybe.

An issue arose where the landlord of my last property wanted to sell but it was when I had just been diagnosed with cancer, the letting agency immediately went back to the landlord and I remained until I was ready to leave, reducing any stress and pressure.

Unfortunately I do not have time but there are many other examples of good practice within the company therefore highly recommend Albion Sales and lettings

I have just let my property with this truly outstanding company. Their attention to detail and support throughout this process has been incredible. They made it so easy, nothing was too much trouble I cannot endorse them enough.

Would like to say how fantastic Albion lettings are. While looking for a property we have dealt with many different letting agents. They made the process of moving so easy and quick. Every time we had a question it would be answered straight away.

Sally, Colin and the team made selling our house easy. They marketed the house well and lined up many viewings. We had one or two ups and downs with viewers who were not in a position to proceed immediately but this was expected and the team kept us updated with progress. We were pleased that Albion completed the sale for us especially as they were marketing alongside one of the big players in Northampton town centre.

Fantastic team, helpful, knowledgeable and great service. James has been so professional during the sale of our property, I would recommend them whole heartedly. We are now going to use them to rent a property and will use them again if needed in the future.

Having dealt with a number of agents over the years I can easily say Albion have been the best by far! I've often found poor communication has been the downfall of most agents I've used but Albion have been excellent from day one. They've always kept me regularly updated during the tenant find process and their approach to the admin side of things has been very proactive and they obviously have SOP's in place to make sure everything runs smoothly. For once I haven't felt the need to constantly chase my agent and feel confident they have our best interests at heart.

I have used Albion Lettings for some years. I have always found them extremely professional, very helpful at all times and I would recommend this company to anyone.
