Dedicated and personal service
We recently sold our house through Albion and had very good service from Colin. He worked hard to arrange viewings in a convenient way and put in extra effort to resolve some issues that arose during the process. Albion's price was significantly lower than the big chains (although more expensive than Internet-only estate agents)

Not very often I write reviews but in this instance we feel like we need to shout to the world about how great these guys are. Talk about above and beyond... taking phone calls and negotiating sensitive situations at 9pm. I have no doubt our whole chain would have fallen through if it wasn't for Colin's hard work. At a time you feel completely helpless, these guys worked so hard to put our minds at ease and reassure us they were doing everything they could to make things go as smoothly as possible. I never plan to move house again, but if I did, I would without a shadow of a doubt choose these guys and recommend them to everyone I know. A class all the way!!!!!

Unprofessional
Unprofessional.
Rented with Albion for just under a year, and our details were incorrect on legal documents despite being given all of our information correctly.
Issues were not dealt with professionlly and we were not notified about planned visits by external companies.
Our broken boiler (in december) took 2 weeks to be fixed despite us having no heating or hot water. We found out later on that previous tenants had notified albion of issues and were warned by the plumber of its state.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience. Although your review has been written anonymously, we realise who has written the review and would like to respond as follows:
I have looked back through our records and can find no instances where we have instructed any tradesmen or any member of the team at Albion to enter your home to complete work that was not pre agreed with you. All tenants are notified of inspection visits at least two weeks in advance and we will always accommodate a change in the planned date of the visit to tenants convenience.
The Boiler issue was dealt with promptly by our team in the office and after looking into the records, a heating engineer ( appointed by the Landlord) came to inspect your boiler on the 6th December, after you reported it was losing pressure. After some deliberation by the Landlord, he decided to obtain a second opinion, this delayed your boiler being repaired I agree but was not the fault of the team at Albion. We did keep you informed of the progress. We had no prior knowledge of issues with the boiler as you state in your review above. All combination boilers from time to time lose pressure, this is a common occurrence and can usually be rectified by using a manual top up procedure.
The Boiler was replaced on 16th December with a brand new boiler, and a gesture of good will and by way of apology from the Landlord for the delay, a £200 rent rebate was given to you. The Landlord of this particular property does not allow us to use our own tradesmen to complete maintenance work, they always insist on using their own contractors. This can reflect badly on the managing agent, but I maintain that my Team dealt with this issue in an appropriate & professional manner and kept you informed all the way along.
If you would like to send me an email to sally@albionresidential.com with details of how "issues were not dealt with professionally" I will certainly look into this as we pride ourselves in providing an efficient and professional service to everyone who interacts with us, this is reflected in 92% of the other service reviews that have been written

Friendly and efficient service which can be completely trusted to achieve the best results possible in the given circumstances, in time and money, and resolution of the issues as they might arise. This includes dealing with emergency situations when the client is unable to respond. There is also excellent communications between the business and client, both timely and clear. A member of staff is always ready to help and give progress updates. No work is carried out unless discussed and authorised by the client, unless an emergency.
