Ich habe nun insgesamt zwei Bestellungen aufgegeben, vier Düfte insgesamt. Versand lief immer schnell und problemlos. Die Verpackung war wunderbar und die Düfte waren mehr als sicher verpackt.
Die Qualität der Düfte bisher wunderbar. Ich kann mich kein bisschen beklagen. Zudem gab es zu meinen Bestellungen kleine Goodies mit dazu wie eine Probe, einen Beutel für einen Duft sowie einen Autoduft.
Ich bin mehr als zufrieden und plane auch in Zukunft hier noch einzukaufen.

Very helpful and delivered promptly

Was recently prompted to revisit Wijdan 71 after some absolute sausage going round shouting the odds on Facebook trying to shake down the brand for freebies I guess. Embarrassing. The fragrance is super. It doesn’t have the same authentic barnyard hit on the opening of the Oud but after a few minutes it’s more or less indistinguishable from the original.

Great scents, a friendly service and a the ability to build up points for customer discounts. I'll be buying all my aftershaves there in future.

Excellent quality fragrances, with very efficient delivery.

Bought Wijan 71 which was inspired by Widian Limited 71 Extrait. I compared them both and Alexandria's version smelt like it was watered down with zero character or depth whatsoever. Yet it's meant to be an 'extrait'. I tested it over 3 different times and the performance and longevity was abysmal. Completely gone after 4 hours for an Oud based scent which is known for its eternally long wearing experience. How about you don't bother making an inspiration if its just going to fall flat because you've just wasted £65.00 of my money. Yet again proved why i don't bother with these corny inspired-by houses.

These aftershaves smell really gorgeous. Both my sons adore them too, they arrived very quickly well packaged and the bottles look lush.

I have just received my perfume China affair . It’s was ordered and delivered within 3 days excellent . Now I wear Chanel coromandel but £275 for 75 ml . That’s not what I want to pay . China affair does have very similar notes it’s as close as anyone can get . So am very happy . I now wish I had bought a bigger bottle . I will be buying again and not paying £275 .

One star, and I'll explain exactly why, because the product is only half the story.
I bought a 100 ml bottle of Arabian Forest for 105 euros. I was genuinely excited about it and I even left a positive review early on. After living with it for a while I had to change my mind completely: it vanishes from the skin within minutes. Not a skin scent after a few hours, gone almost immediately.
Rather than posting about it, I emailed the company directly and privately. No reply at all. I had to send a second, much firmer email before anyone responded.
When the managing director did reply, he told me that Arabian Forest is their own Extrait de Parfum, that it should easily last several hours, and that what I was describing was not what they would expect to see. He asked for my order number so he could look into it. I sent it the same day, with a screenshot of the order.
Then eleven days of silence.
When the answer finally came, the position had completely reversed: he had tested the fragrance himself, the bottle was fine, there was no issue with the batch, and the problem was my skin chemistry. So within two emails the fault moved from their product to my body.
He did offer a replacement, on condition that I first ship the original bottle back to the UK myself, by tracked courier, at my own expense. I had already explained, in my very first message, that shipping an alcohol-based product from Italy to the UK is a bureaucratic headache. That point was simply ignored. A tracked shipment like that costs me around 65 euros. On top of the 105 euros I had already paid. For a company shipping internationally every day, that cost is routine. For a one-off private customer, it is not, and it conveniently makes the "goodwill gesture" more expensive than the problem it is meant to solve.
So I'm keeping a bottle I can't use. It's cheaper than accepting the offer.
What bothers me is not that a fragrance underperformed. That can happen. It's the silence, the two mutually contradictory explanations, and a resolution designed so that the customer pays for it. I came to them privately and in good faith, and got all of this in return.
I won't be ordering again.

October 9th
A short update, since the company has replied publicly.
They say that from their first reply they offered to take the bottle back and check it. Their first email asked only for my order number. No return, no postage, nothing about who would pay.
They now mention refunding my return postage if the bottle turns out to be faulty. That offer appears here for the first time. The actual email I received asked me to send the bottle back by tracked service, at my own cost, with no mention of reimbursement at all.
And the condition itself is the real problem. They have already told me in writing that they tested the fragrance themselves, that the bottle performs as it should, and that there is no fault with the batch. So they will refund my postage only if the bottle is faulty, something they have already ruled out, and which only they get to judge. I would pay around €65 to ship it to the UK so that they can confirm the verdict they have already given, and recover nothing.
I’ve asked for one thing instead: a prepaid tracked return label, at their cost, with no conditions. If they’re confident in the product, it costs them very little to be proved right. That offer is still open on my side.
