And i thought Alibaba was one of the biggest companies in the world. I had to deal with stupedest bugs i've ever experienced. Like, it keept directed me to login again and again, wanted me to login even tho i was already. Never try to get free trial. I don't thing they willing to give. Just clickbait. Then i wanted to try with paying. It wanted me to verify my id even tho i was already from both real name verification and student id verification. So i said f it and tried to delete my account. I couldn't delete it too because it keeps want me to clear some fetures that i haven't used. Seems like i managed to use somethings in their service at the same time while they want me to verify myself again and again. What a f joke. Ui/Ux designs terrible af. It's impossible to find something in first try. The staff in customer service were well-intentioned but they are useless too. Beacuse nothing working in this garbage place as it has should to be . Never but never open an account. You can't get rid of them after giving many info about yourself like id, credid card etc.

Never be fooled by using their free trial
No no, no free trial. They still charge for their services. They never provide any free service. Never attach your Master Card to this website. You can't remove it later. It will be stuck and still charged.

Worst support I have created windows VPS they gave me linux now now I have no controll over it. No support help

In one word it sucks! It says 1700$ for the individual as a free trial, but it takes 1 hour to sign up. Can't log in sometimes, their system is broken too. It constantly redirects you to different places in the new tab. He deducted $1 from the card even though he stated that he would not take any prepayment while becoming a member. Definitely stay away.

Would give zero if I could, I report several phishing/scam websites hosted on this service and all I get is "We could not determine if the site reported is phishing website or not". Here's an example

I have provided proof like 3 times already for this one alone and they just don't do crap about it.

I don't even want to give one star for the review but could not figure out how to delete it to give ZERO starts. I was scammed by Alibaba Cloud in the amount of $4800.00 deducted from my checking accounts and also they chard $1800 to one of my crecit cards. I was sent a text link notifcation from USPS saying I needed to pay to have a package redelivered. And then I clicked on the link to pay, a $3.00 re-delivery charge, thinking it was legitimate. Fortunately I got an alert from my bank questioning whether I authorized the high dollar purchase and also fortunately, through PayPal I was able to get all of my money refunded but it felt the same way you feel when something has been stolen from you. I would not recommend using this service at all. How sad that this company does this to people-pure greed.

I've got a server located at HK on their platform, the connections to the clients are really unstable. You'll also get TCP reset sometimes.

OMG where do I start. Worse company to be on planet earth or even in galaxy. They will need to hire people who can understand English. Promise with no fulfilment. Rude and never got chance to experience. Please be careful using this service. I do not recommend them.

I have 15 domains with them and there is NO WAY TO CANCEL! I cannot find a way to contact support either so I will dispute these transactions. I do not want to auto renew!

It is totally useless. It is not beginner friendly at all.

You must setup everything by yourself. Even when you wnat to just host something on the fly just like on Heroku, on Ali cloud just get ready to spend 2 to 3 days if you still a newbie and even hours for those who are way experienced.

I dont ever recommend it for anybody.

It's very difficult to get to talk to a customer service agent.

Simply the worst "cloud" service provider. It is a bad joke out of China. Companies like Dreamhost, Bluehost and Godaddy are way better than this bad joke -- let alone real Cloud Giants like AWS or GCP.

This joke of a company locked my free instance so I cannot delete it and thus start to get billed for it.

No matter what I did I cannot unlock my instance. Hell, I cannot even delete my account -- this is a joke. What should I do? Perhaps change my email address and than delete the disposable email address?

Have some experience with this cloud. Not fantastic, but not bad

no tech support. you can open a ticket that gets ignored for 3 days. can't speak to anyone. the one time they called me back it was 11pm because they operate on HK time. now it's like Hotel California, they won't let me close the account. They're saying there's still 'furnace' resources even though i deleted everything. search on all of alibaba's support documents, knowledge base, on google, there is no reference to 'furnace'.
update: 10 days now, they have me jumping through hoops and screenshotting all THEIR site's errors and they 'escalate'. They REFUSE to delete my account no matter what i do

I am very sorry not to check Trustpilot yesterday. I made account setup days ago and yesterday I pay 1 mio SMTP mails for 200+$. Indeed they dont recalculate VAT but OK. Today account is still on 62.000 starting quota, smtp credentials doesnt work (domain is verified), chat also closed. I put ticket on support and Ill wait for 1 day otherwise Ill dispute on paypal. Very poor customer service, slow not "existend" indeed.

I’ve never heard of this company yet I had to cancel my card because they kept trying to take $1 each time. I tried to call customer service but nobody would answer.

Use the 4 major Cloud providers and so far.

Pros:
- Monthly commitment.
- Services that goes through the great firewall for better cross-border connectivity with China.

Cons:
- Inexistant support and incapable of speaking English
- No transparency on service availability
- Connectivity pricing outrageously expensive due to protectionism that prevent any kind of competition.
- Terrible performance on the entry-level instances
- Documentation and UI translation issues (Chinese here and there at time)
- Take it or leave it mentality.

Note: All the good review are from employees. A quick due diligence is required.

Signed up for a free trial. Didn't receive anything. Opened a support ticket and was prompted to send a LOT of personal information for ID verification, including passport and bank statement.

Never seen anything like this before with other hosting services and cloud providers.

Don't waste your time, just use any other reputable cloud provider from top3. I can confirm that top1 company's support is much better and the experience is nicer to customers than Alibaba ever could be.
