Worked for Amazon flex for a year. Always completed work, always been courteous and always been friendly and kind to everyone. Always done my job properly. Then after a year I get an email to say that I have violated The customer service terms and conditions. No explanation nothing and just like that my account was deactivated. The Amazon flex driver support is absolutely useless. When you call them you do not get the help you need which then makes you late for your schedule and then this has an impact on your work!! I feel that me asking for support in this way has made me violate customer service simply because I wasn’t getting the support I needed and at no point was I angry I just asked for help and just like that and without warning I am out of a job!!

I used to have great admiration and respect for Amazon for great and diverse products, accessibility and prompt deliveries. I've enjoyed it for several years until my job prospects took a dive following the pandemic. The need to get something doing while looking for job prompted me to sign up for Amazon Flex. The sign up was fast, the DBS and everything was smooth until my first job! Whao!! what is this!! I almost wanted to commit suicide after the first job (3hr job for £39)!! First it took me 5 hrs to complete the 33 stops...the search for flat addresses...fuel...distance...unresponding navigation...etc. At the end of the day, my calculating mind suggested that the effective rate is not £13/hr but somewhere around £2/hr if you take into consideration the relative costs to the driver, the car fuelling and maintenance, wear and tear of the vehicle etc.
The Amazon Flex programme is designed to explot the plight of those looking to make a decent honest living!! Its no joke! UK Government should wade into this illegal slavery and exploitation of its citizens! If its possible to give minus 5 star...thats exactly its worth. Its a nauseating! I will never wish this job for an enemy...most repulsive!!

Shocking experience I went hours past my time slot because of poorly planned route by Amazon flex. They refused compensate me overtime do not work for them

Avoid, Don't let yourself be tricked by flexible time. Get a DBS check, to be told no work at all!! Avoid of amazon flex driver job.
They force you to scan the route without knowing where you go for delivery.
Take blocks in Canterbury 55 ml from my house.

Customer service team is based in India. If you leave feedback as a driver contractor they take you out using any excuse even though the app claims that the feedback will be used to improve the experience.

Nichts zu empfehlen .... sehr enttäuscht von diese service .

Amazon Flex Tahrer zum Teil eine einzige Katastrophe

Ein nicht unerheblicher Teil der Amazon-Flex Fahrer sind eine absolute Katastrophe. Und ohne nun hier etwas gegen unserer Neubürger zu sagen ist es auch genau dieses Klientel die den katastrophalen Teil der absolut unseriösen Fahrer ausmachen.

Alles muss schnell, schnell, schnell und Zacki Zacki gehen. Ich wohne in einem Reihenhaus. Die Flexfahrer legen zb. grosse Pakete mit sehr empfindlichen Inhalt bei strömenden Regen hirnlos und ohne Nachzudenken, das strömender Regen Paketen nicht gut tut, einfach vor die Haustür wenn man nicht da ist. Hatte so schon 2x eine Beschädigung des Inhalts gehabt und musste es reklamieren.

Ich hab auch schon einen DIN A4 Zettel an meine Haustür gehängt, mit der Bitte es zu unterlassen Pakete einfach vor meine Haustür zu legen, da ich bei Amazon keinerlei Abstellgenehmigung hinterlassen hab und Regen den Inhalt beschädigen kann...vom möglichen Diebstahl mal ganz zu schweigen. Verfasst in Deutsch und Englisch. Aber das Interessiert sie nicht und sie machen es trotzdem so weil alles zacki Zacki und ohne viel nachzudenken gehen muss.

Oder sie Klingeln bei dir und sind dann mit Paketen schon beim Nachbarn nebenan um sie da abzugeben, weil man nicht innerhalb von 3 Sekunden an der Tür war...kein Scherz.

Oder sie legen es vor die Haustür, klingeln kurz und sind dann schon sofort wieder weg...ein absoluter Wahnsinn sondergleichen was mit den verpeilten Typen abgeht, denen scheinbar beim Zustellen alles egal ist. Sowas hab ich die letzten 20 Jahre weder mit DHL, Hermes, DPD oder GLS auch nur annähernd in irgendeiner ähnlichen Form gehabt.

Corona hin oder her, aber Amazon tut sich auf Dauer keinen Gefallen mit dieser katastrophalen Art der Zustellung, nur um zwecks Gewinnmaximierung noch mehr Geld zu sparen. Da muss schleunigst intern etwas passieren, ansonsten hab ich keinen Bock mehr bei Amazon zu bestellen. :-(

Fairerweise muss ich aber sagen das nicht alle Fahrer so sind und einige sich wirklich Mühe beim Zustellen geben. Aber diese Sorte vom Typ "Mir doch Scheissegal was mit dem Paket passiert und wie der Kunde darüber denkt" braucht kein Mensch.

I have one email address and I have been trying to get in touch with Amazon flex.
I’ve waited for months for them to get back to me,
1.) first it was to download the app,
2.) registering my email address and waiting for them to get back to me.
(Took 3months and then said when jobs come up we will be in touch).
3.) after 3months then it said jobs are available and I had to complete Tax, Direct deposit, Videos, Driving licence verification and a DBS check.
(All got completed).
4.) DBS completed through Accurate also got a paper copy sent to my home address.
5.) all checks from my side completed and heard Nothing back from Amazon flex, emailed them on Numerous Occasions and in reply I get a forwarded email saying my email address is NOT registered with Amazon flex.
This problem has been going on for another 3months.
5.) it’s NOT as if I haven’t been in contact with them with the same email address.
6.) yes I use the same email address for Amazon shopping, but that shouldn’t be an issue.
And why would you reply back to me and ask for all the information.

To be honest I’ve had inuff of it and don’t know where I stand with this company and don’t want to know now.

I want be using you services even in the shopping now.

Who ever reads this review I would specifically suggest you DON’T use them.
(If they do this peoples information, just gets you to think what else they can do).

Omg, this is so bad for customers. But it will finally help curb my shopping. What could be good about possibly nice, untrained people delivering your stuff? Even relief drivers are noticeable with UPS and Fedex, but they are professional. Work hard, but make a living, good, but for us, the packages end up where they're supposed to be. Right house, right road. I'm not getting that now. No snow and they still park in the road, ignore sidewalks to put packages on an unused open porch. Last Christmas they waded through knee deep snow to do the same, ignoring the shoveled walk and mudroom. The professional drivers and mail people take giant trucks up, no problem. Shoveled sidewalk should be a clue. But they are apparently clueless.

If there was a zero star button thats what Amazon flex would get !!
So after completing the waiting paperwork and security checks I commenced my first shift on 31/10/2021.
Ayelsford/Maidstone, Kent.
I took a 2.5 hour driving block for £35
Arrived at the depot and given a cage containing approx 46 parcels to be dropped at 40 approx different addresses.
The deliveries were for FOLKESTONE !! 40 miles away on the Kent coast. This was about 1 hours drive each way from the base . This left 30 minutes to complete all 46 deliveries !!
I said to the staff member, i think you have made a mistake. They said, No. I had scanned a few of these parcels and realised it was not worth doing for £35.
The staff member said i cant take them back they are now your property and you will get billed for them, I said , NO you take them back now this is a joke. At this point another staff member came over shouting you are sacked !
I got them to take the parcels back and said im not going to do this and left.
I was stunned by the way the staff spoke to me and this was my very first shift.
In short, This was supposed to be 2.5 hours being paid £35
In reality this would have been 80 miles round trip just to the delivery area, never mind the deliveries themselves. It would have taken 2 hours driving to the location and back and 2/3 hours to deliver those parcels.
After the petrol expense and journey time and only being paid £35 I WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT OF POCKET AND COST ME TO GO AND WORK !
Absolute shocking experience !!!!
CON. STAY AWAY, luckily i found out pretty quickly how bad this was.
Now I have decided to not use Amazon products .
Appalling human rights and slave labour for the desperate.

Signed up, passed DBS, finally the app is working. Oh guess what I live in London and they have allocated me jobs in Bristol. Asked customer service to update my region and they said there is no availability in my region and wont update it. Wont give the name of the person but he is incompetent.
Why do they waste our time, allowing us to sign up, do a background check, submit all the documents then give us locations over 100 miles away. Guess I will move home as that is probably more practical then amazon actually updating my address. Usless customer service

In last 3 weeks i trying to change my region, unfortunately they not answer any more, there is problem because, not possible to complain them. In my region they looking for new drivers, but old driver can’t change address…. I don’t know or they know how to do it

Amazonflex lohnt sich uberhaupt nicht, wenn du Glück hast bekommst du mal in der Woche maximal ein Block oder zwei sonst nichts.
Anfangs hiess es wir suchen keine Fahrer, toll Gewerbe etc alles beantragt und dann schreiben die, die brauchen zur Zeit keine Fahrer.
Nach drei bis vier Wochen wurde man doch freigeschaltet.
Amazon denkt auch man sitzt 24 Stunden vor dem Handy um null Blöcke zu bekommen, sche*ss System.
Per Briefkasten soll man nicht zustellen, warum nicht, heute in Coronazeiten, das Packet passt komplett hinein, also warum soll ich dann mit zig Personen Kontakt haben, wenn es einfacher geht, sinnlos Sytem.
Mitarbeiter von Amazon sind teils so unfreundlich und denken ist auch nicht so deren Sachen
Vito Bus steht neben mir er bekommt kleine Pakete, ich steh neben ihn kleines Auto bekomm riesen Pakete und muss ein teil dalassen.
99 Prozent, sind nur männliche Fahrer mit sehr schlechten deutsch.

Terrible experience with amazon flex. Everything is different than what it seems to be or what Amazon claims. Do not believe the saying “earn £13-15 an hour. This is a big disguised lie.

Amazon trying to enslave drivers and work for them almost free of charge. Do not risk your mental health, do not risk your physical health and do risk getting an accident with your car. Because it does not worth it.

Please listen to what I wrote. If all drivers stop then this scams and lies will come to an end. They will need drivers and will must accept the real pay they have to make to the drivers. The real pay that drivers deserve. But now they got plenty of drivers and Amazon set rules, change rules, punish drivers and you have no say in the most important job of Amazon done by you.

Please please please do not buy their lies. Do not deliver and get them need us and then treat drivers fairly.

Das unhöflichste Personal das ich jemals in einer Firma erlebt habe. Die Mitarbeiter sind respektlos und lästern während der Abholzeit an der Station über Amazon Flex Fahrer. Da sieht man mal, wie intellektuell Gebildet das Personal ist.

Poor pay trick you with 13£ hour after 100 miles of driving and wasting 4 hours you make around 22£.
10 fuel + use of your car internet Mobile phone .
I think you hardly make around £3 to £4 an hour mostly people working there who are on benefit and making some extra cash on the side.
It's only worth for them frauds.

I just started driving for Amazon flex and it’s a great way to earn extra cash in time for Christmas, regular slots plenty of work to choose from got paid on time and first day had a issue with the app used the email system they were very helpful and sorted it straight away, staff at Manchester are very polite and helpful some went out of their way to help me as they could see I didn’t really know what I was doing, if you enjoy driving then why not make extra cash if u don’t like driving then u will hate it

Firstly, if you have a nice car that you don’t want getting damaged, do not deliver for Amazon. Some of the routes are down bumpy farm trails in the middle of nowhere. Some routes you have to stop on main roads with nowhere to park. I marked by BMW several times. The farm routes were the reason I chose not to deliver once it got dark, it’s actually quite dangerous. Highly discourage new drivers to do that at all. Stick to day blocks.

I’m going to be honest, at times it was actually alright when you get decent routes where it’s just residential houses. It’s good exercise and you can finish your block relatively quickly. That being said, the bad blocks definitely outweighed the good ones. So many dodgy routes, where you’re in the middle of nowhere, just to deliver one envelope. The customer support are 9/10 really rude. Okay if you want to do a couple blocks a week for extra money, but if you start doing it regularly like I did, you’re quickly start hating Amazon lol.

Finger weg kann ich nur sagen.. Ich habe etwa 3 Stunden Zeit und 50 Euro für ein Führungszeugnis + Gewerbeschein investiert und nichts als eine Mail zurück bekommen die sagt, das derzeit keine Aufträge zu Verfügung stehen. Eine Möglichkeit das vorab zu prüfen stellt Amazon nicht bereit. Durch die Firma accurate ce muss man sich auch noch einem Daten-Striptease gefallen lassen. Mein Geld hole ich mir aktuell über meine gekündigte prime Mitgliedschaft zurück. Läuft bei Amazon.... Nicht..
