Let me start out with saying thank you so much American Financial for the fact that when I was down at my wits end you were the only one who stood up beside me to get my financial freedom back when nobody I mean nobody would help. Lisa Morris you are a go getter and she doesn’t play around! I’d have her on my team any day of the week anytime anywhere!! I was amazed from. The start to finish. I’m use to no we can’t help you when I called lenders because the situation I was in but not with Lisa she was determined and never once said the words I can’t! I went from I’m gonna lose everything to hearing the Bob and Tom show on the radio talking about American Financial, to the very first call that was thankfully a god sent Lisa! I don’t have words other then Lisa thank you and your team for standing up for me when I was at my lowest to get me back on track with my financial situation I am so grateful for you and your team ! They are promoting everywhere on social media that they do a 30-year fixed rate second loan (so you don't have to touch your original principal if you already have a low interest rate). We initiated the process. The next day their first sentence was "we can pay off your original loan and give you $50K cash out." I said: "NO! The FIRST thing we told you was we wanted a 30-yr fixed rate SECOND loan, we do NOT want to pay off our 2.625% first loan!" And the loan officer's response: "Oh! We do that in every state but yours." Yeah... sure. This is Deceptive and unethical marketing.

I contacted American Financing about a Home Equity Line of Credit. They showed me a potential deal that looked fine, so they started asking me for a bunch of information about my income, etc., presumably so they could see if I could pay the loan. After I gave them all the paperwork they scheduled a call with me for two or three hours later that day.

As soon as the call started, the agent started speaking very quickly. After a minute or so I heard things like 6% for 30 years. That didn't sound like the terms of a home equity line of credit so I stopped him and asked what he was talking about. He said this was a home refi loan with a cash withdrawal. He said he didn't have "access" to HELOCs in Nevada. They knew where I lived the entire time and could have easily said we can't help you. Instead, just to hear this offer of theirs, they completed a home refi application for me and did a hard credit check. I was furious and told them I don't want anything to do with them.

I thought that was the end of it but about a week later the home loan refi application documents were mailed to me, already completed, with an envelope to send them back the signed docs. I called them and the person who answered said that is just what they do and I don't have to sign them.

This whole company is a joke.i tried to use them to refinance. They used some crackpot appraiser that said my property lost 60k in value in one year. This guy had to redo the appraisal because he completly missed a whole section of land that I owned. Extremely sloppy. The. They charged me 900 dollars for the appraisal redo. Do not use this company.

Outstanding service. Loan process was smooth and quick. All involved were informative and helpful.
They even set up a closing while we were on vacation to expedite the loan as we had requested.

I wish I could give them a zero rating. I tried this company out and I regret to say I wish I would go a different route. There is a major issue that was overlooked and my family is paying the price while the company states nothing they will do about it. Even though they received the paperwork and can see it in black and white, nothing will be done. Theres no accountability anymore

I've been waiting for answers for literally months. I guess american financing does not want to do business with me. That's okay but I wish they'd let me know. I had to deal with the death in the family and some time away in april But that should not have affected this extreme duration between simple answers. I recently hope this is not that way they Routinely treat customers. I've done business with them in the past and it's been fine. Based on this experience, I certainly cannot recommend them for anything. Grade F minus in my opinion

i FINANCES MY HOUSE WITH AF, AND WAS TOLD THAT WHEN RATES GO DOWN I COULD BE STREAMLINED INTO A LOWER RATE. WHEN I TRIED TO REFINANCE TO A LOWER RATE, THE CLOSING COSTS WERE 18K- WITH GREAT CREDIT, LOW LTV. i WAS TOLD THEY DONT DO STREAMLINING, SO I WAS LIED TO INITIALLY WHEN I CHOSE AF TO DO MY MORTGAGE

If you can't pay cash, don't use this company for financing. The cost of their lease services are outrageous. A $3k purchase costs over $10k.

The team at American Financing is top-notch!! They move quicker than any other lender I've worked with (even around the holidays); the only thing that held me up from closing quicker was my ability to get certain required documents from other sources. Each staff member I dealt with (specifically, David A. Smith and Andrea Wurth) really cared about helping me save money; they were professional, did their due diligence, and were always available to answer questions, all while moving the process swiftly along. Perhaps my favorite moment was when my consultant cheered with me on the phone when he found out I would save over $2,000 in monthly payments! Simply the best experience. Thanks again to everybody!!!
