During my time at Arden University, I had a good experience with the online learning system. The lectures and materials were easily available on the platform, which helped me study at my own pace.
However, sometimes I felt that communication could be improved, especially getting faster responses from tutors or clearer guidance on assignments.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional support I received from Ruth yesterday. I felt it was important to take a moment to properly acknowledge the level of care, understanding, and professionalism she demonstrated during what was a very stressful situation for me.
Yesterday morning, I had been working from as early as 4:30 am, revising and finalising my dissertation before submission. Unfortunately, due to having multiple documents open and trying to manage everything quickly, I accidentally closed my final dissertation draft—the very version I was about to submit. In that moment, I felt completely overwhelmed and devastated, as I had lost a significant amount of important work just hour before submission.
When I contacted support, I was extremely distressed and struggling to keep myself together. However, Ruth handled the situation with remarkable patience, empathy, and kindness. Her calm and reassuring manner immediately helped to ease my panic. She took the time to truly listen and understand my situation, and she made every effort to explore possible solutions and provide the most appropriate support.
What stood out most was not only her professionalism, but also the genuine compassion she showed. It was clear that she approached her work with care and dedication, and that made a significant difference to me in that moment. While I fully understand that the situation was the result of my own mistake, Ruth’s support helped me regain composure and feel supported during a very difficult time.
Thank you once again, Ruth, for your kindness and support—it truly meant a lot to me.

I received prompt response and support to my inquiry. I wasn't expecting that they would be able to sort it out before the deadline as it was very close to the deadline. However, the Student Support (working with the Registry) sorted it out so quickly.
The university offers students great flexibility.
The university offers students great flexibility and excellent student support. I've studied at both Arden and Kings College London and found both experiences very similar. Arden has clearly been developing and refining it's procedures over the past few years.

Dealt with the same person before and it's like she can't be bothered. Just got another email from sherya offering no help just links. Apparently they are not trained to deal with student who want help due to mental crisis. When you ask for a call back they just send further links. Scam

I’ve been with Arden University since my BA and am now completing my Master’s. As always, the student support team has been incredibly helpful.
I recently reached out about an issue with the dissertation submission portal not appearing on iLearn, and I received a prompt and reassuring response.

Extremely bad non accessible marketing/customer service team - Don't study there!
As a prospective online Master's student I called Arden uni together with several other UK unis after I had checked their online info to get answers I had carefully written down.
After I dialled their 008 customer service number and had selected that I am a prospective student I waited for 42 minutes in a queue before their telephone system hung up the 'call'.
If their marketing department is substandard to such an extreme degree (no pun intended LoL) I rather don't want to know how 'good' their customer service line is after I paid my study fees and enrolled...
Plus there is and Office for Students (officeforstudents.org.uk) "Condition B3 assessment report for Arden University" dated 23 July 2024 in which the University' organisational admin structure has been deemed as in need of improvement which excessive waiting times for enrolled students to get basic requests dealt with.
I'd rather pay a slightly higher study fee and join a reputable UK uni with a highly knowledgeable and accessible student service rather than ending up in and internal admin Waterloo with a profit orientated private uni company that is saving on the wrong end.

I had a really positive experience with Arden Student Support, especially Jake. He responded quickly and was very kind, understanding and reassuring. I opened up about feeling disappointed in myself, and he really made me feel heard and supported.
He clearly explained my options and reminded me that I’m not going through this alone, which meant really a lot to me. Before his response I was feeling quite anxious, but that went away straight after Jake got back to me.
His support has helped me feel much more confident and positive about returning to my studies. I really appreciate the help and guidance I received.

Wendy has changed my life, and she referred me to have an ADHD screening with SPDL. Upon the screening, it has been noticed that I also have Dyslexia, which I had no idea about. Without Wendy, I would have just kept on struggling. Thank you once again, Wendy, and I am sure you will help many other students like me in your time at Arden.
