Had for 3 months

Had for 3 months. And been absolutely fine, but then started to play up like going off every two minutes, then also nor response, but also could not find in play store 🙃 😒 so i'm speaking to amazon to get my money back.What a shame even though rang the numbers anf and emailed but got know where . Can't believe.
This company is doing our customers. There must be a big problem.

Armd Guard

I bought this for my van as it seemed like a good idea as carry a lot of tools. the sensor alerted my phone to late every time a back door or side door was opened minimum 1:30mins and up to 10mins to late, even when I waved my hand in front of the sensor! Spoke to their customer services who agreed there was an issue, and not to worry they would rectify it but unfortunately they never got back to me, and after several phone calls and leaving my number and name as suggested, No response from Armd The concept would of been ideal for me knowing I get alerts once my van has been entered, but with the long delay in this happening the product has no use to me So I’ve requested a full refund, and hopefully there’s another manufacturer out there doing the same, without any of the above issues and a better duty of customer care.

Regsiter in your phone, Pair, Pop in a prime spot on your Van - Flawless.

Always notifies me when I enter my van sometimes straight away or with 10secs

Absolutely don’t buy it’s a total joke has mine 4days and is constantly showing the wrong location of my van. Been on with tech support who asked if I was parked underground😤 they were saying that the gps signal was weak in my area also I can go in the van remove all my equipment and about 15 minutes later I sometimes get a alert. Absolutely crap 💩

Don’t waste your time or money!

Don’t waste your time or money!! The armed device is terrible.. Sends false notifications, rings your phone early hours in the morning. If you open your van doors with the device armed, it won’t notify you until around 5-10mins after. By that time your van will be stripped of any tool. The communication with the company is shocking, they just ignore you. So my advice to anyone reading this is leave this joke of a company well alone…

My worst dealing with a company ever

My worst dealing with a company ever !
Was sold armd by a rep in our local suppliers, since day 1 it has never worked! Many phone calls to the rep, and trying different things and still it doesn’t work! I kindly asked for a refund as I spent £400. Still nothing and worse of all the £40 subscription is still coming out of my account!! The head office phone number I have phoned so many times and never had an answer, I once got a reply to a email and then radio silent! I can’t see a end, truly disappointed

I can also see that two of the alarms were never set up which is a shame as we could have problem solved and fixed them if they were indeed not working or faulty. Excellent, easy to setup, recommend 👍

I bought the ARMD Guard from Amazon in Feb and am super pleased with it. It compliments the other security I have in place. The phone calls are realtime, I know because when I forget to disarm it off and it triggers!! Setup is straightforward.

****Updated- so it apparently does work**** I so wanted this device to work but…

Perhaps I was a little hasty giving the review below or perhaps it was as a result of giving the review below but as in the response given by ARMD my replacement unit did eventually turn up, well the 2nd replacement unit turned up as the first one was lost in the post! I then had to send another email to be able to register it. However, for now it is working, I believe as it should. Not bad really, 2 months on. Hence the increased 3 star review. It should however worked straight out of the box, as advertised!!! Oh and the flat battery didn’t actually happen, it was merely a look into the future of something plugged in using power for a long period of time.

I so wanted this device to work but unfortunately it doesn’t. Same story as a few others on here, just not good customer service reported it via email as faulty, no reply, sent another email asking if anyone was there? Got a reply saying sorry about that I’ll get technical to have a look at it. Yet another email and got a response - looks like the mobile number was entered wrongly, should be fine. But it’s not!!! It really is a useless piece of cheap plastic whose sole purpose is to frustrate people and flatten batteries. Total garbage, wish I could give no stars!!!

I am sorry you have had a slow customer experience. I can see from the tickets that they got to the root of the problem and your device was replaced a few days after you posted this review. I can also see that Kevin has been in contact a number of times to help and monitor the situation but I could not see any tickets, issues or conversations raised regarding the flatten battery that you mentioned, so I am not quite sure why it is referenced but if this is something you have experienced please let us know at customersupport@armd.uk asap please. Frustrated

I placed my order nearly 3 weeks ago.
Tried to call many times but nobody picks up the phone and no calls returned when voicemails left.
I did get a reply in a couple of days from an email but was told there was a system error so just to wait.
My bits arrived 4 days ago, but I cannot activate the system using the app or website and don’t know why it won’t work.
I emailed the day it arrived and have not yet received an email back.
I managed to get through to someone on the phone yesterday morning and was told it had been passed to the technical department and I would hear back asap.
Tried to call again just now and no answer.
Starting to lose patience now and I’m so glad I never took out the tool insurance as I’d never be able to claim if nobody answers the phone.
Overall it’s the lack of communication and nobody picking up the phone that’s the main issue.

Disappointed

The unit when it did work would take between 3 and 10 minutes to call me, So, if I forgot to disarm the alarm, go to my van, take out tools, lock the van and go into a client, maybe 5 to 10 minutes later I would get an alert. Now the unit has packed up, 5 emails to the company, eventually they said it was dead, that was 5 days ago. No contact, no replacement unit. no customer service.

Concept of the alarm is great

Concept of the alarm is great. I got my tools cover and when i messaged to ask them to change the date, they have yet to reply a week later. Hoping that isnt the normal level of service.

Bought on a recommendation

Bought on a recommendation. Wouldn’t recommend it to anybody! Slow in responding to movement. Example.. I can go to the rear of my vehicle and look for a particular tool and the alarm can take upto 45 seconds to alert you that there is some movement in your vehicle. In addition to this the alarm activated at various times during the day for no particular reason. The app is slow in responding! e.g. if you open the app to deactivate the alarm, it just buffers, sometimes for over a minute. So all in all,…. I would not recommend this alarm. As you can appreciate 45 seconds is a long time! An intruder can wipe out a vehicle in 30 seconds, especially boxed power tools.

Alarm doesn't work

Alarm doesn't work, No customer service, still has the "closed for christmas message" now Jan 12th, left several messages and had zero response.

Fitted in under 15 minutes 👏🏻

This is a product that makes me feel safe knowing my van is under constant supervision knowing I’ll get a call and text as soon as there is a disturbance in the van. Set up in under 15 minutes and tested I would recommend this security to any one ! Well done ARMD smashed it 👏🏻
