ARS/Rescue Rooter - Austin Reviews 

After they installed my full air conditioning system in 2024, they have the audacity to come by and say, "Well, it's not a perfect system, so it will cost you $4,500 to replace the inside evaporator coil due to a leak". No mention of a possible discount or any empathy for my situation. Their customer service has gone into the negative over the last few years. This technician was definitely the bottom of the barrel. I'll never do business withe them again and wouldn't recommend anyone even think about it!

I have used ARS services for many years. I understand that HVSC services are overwhelmed during Texas summers. However, from the date the problem was identified by a very capable technician (5stars) it took 10 days to complete the job. The technicians that installed the unit were excellent (5stars). Between the original and the last appt, there seemed to be a lack of attention to the project. Twice I called and was told there was no record of the necessary part having been ordered - this was very frustrating when the temperatures were in the 95-100 range everyday. I had paid for the project at the first appointment. Had I not called several times, would it have gotten fixed?

Response was very quick, in the midst of temps in high 90s got the system cooling again very fast and without much cost, could not ask much more!

My water heater went out and they came to give me a bid and did the replacement same day. They can work through Home Depot so it was easy to put it on my HD credit card to pay out with no interest. How convenient. Super friendly, super fast, super clean.

Everything done accordingly. Helped move things, However, items from attic were piled in front of shelves in the garage that I now need to put back in the attic to get access to those shelves. I didn't notice until after they left. Not happy having to do this at my age, but I need to see if i still have access to things I stored in the attic.

Very easy getting the work scheduled. I was surprised that they could arrange to do the job so quickly. Great communication with them. Plumber came on time, was efficient, professional, answered all my questions. Used another company for many years but now going to switch over to ARS

Had an appointment on May 25 for an AC tuneup. 2:00 - 6:00 timeframe. Lady called at 5:55 to say they “were slammed with emergency calls and would not be able to keep my appointment.” I asked when I could reschedule. She said first opening was for today, 17 June (over two weeks?). So I said ok. Same appointment window 2:00 - 6:00. Received texts all day. “You’re on our schedule! See you today!” Ok! 5:10 pm: same lady. Same call. Sorry. Not gonna make it. Can we reschedule? NOPE. WASTED 7 HOURS OF MY TIME. And another hour posting this review EVERYWHERE!!!

ARS tech Sam was on time, thorough and professional. He addresses the issue and provided a detailed explanation. Would highly recommend ARS again!

My daughter was at our new house to let ARS work. She said it went very smoothly.

Hannah was very knowledgeable about the issues I’m experiencing with my lawn and gave me some excellent tips for maintenance that I’m excited to put into practice - thrashing, aerating, moisture control and others.

We were provided with all information necessary to make the correct purchase. The service was performed when promised. We couldn’t be happier.
