The products are not cheaply made, and give you confidence that they will last a long time, probably longer then me. Instructions were a little skimpy, but I called their customer support and they were very helpful, and answered my questions. I also didn't have to wait forever for them to answer the phone.

We ordered 4 barn door sliders. Prior to the order being shipped our client changed the finish on 3 of them (choosing a more expensive finish). I called to see if the order could be changed - the lady I spoke with said she would check. Two days later she responded, five minutes after I received the shipping notification email. She then stated I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee, the shipping email showed only a 15% restocking fee. We ended up placing a second order for the 3 in another finish. Upon attempting to install the slides however, we discovered we were missing parts, we checked all seven of the boxes, we could barely complete three slides.
UPDATE: We have since been contacted by a very friendly gentleman and are awaiting the replacement parts.

This barn door was EXACTLY what we needed to complete a Den update! Great process... excellent product... PERFECT. Would recommend to anyone.

They looked up my original order to make sure I got correct parts to match my original order finish. Heavy duty quality on the parts and the online video instructions were so easy to follow. We bought the Aspen Door. The workmanship is a 5 star.
The problem we had is with the service desk. As an example I asked how heavy is the door. The response was 3 lbs per square foot. My door is a 5' x 7' door.That would be 35 sq ft. It should weigh 105 lbs. This door has to weigh at least 200 lbs. I had to hire a meat head to help install the door. Why don't you guys add the weight info in your description?
Next problem was with the hanger bolts on the roller. They were too long and gouged the wall. It took me a month to get the right length bolts. Ashley came through for me. I blame this on the prehung installer. That person should have known with the spacers used that the bolts would be too long. Another 1/4" long spacer probably could have saved me a lot of stress and time trying to make this work. I had to kick out the guide so the door is not parallel to the wall. Even at that I had to eliminate the top inside strap because the bolts still wouldn't clear the wall.
Over all the door craftsmanship is great. I just hope i never have to take the door down. I would have to find someone to help me. I hope the system is earthquake proof. The whole system looks kinda of shaky just hanging on that rail. Very spooky.

Excellent customer service!

Door was excellent, however they sent the wrong length rail and wrong size bolts. Had to purchase the Bolts so it didn’t hold up installation. Soft close wouldn’t work on this door because of clearance. Even if these issues were aggravating I would still order the next door from them.

The door and hardware was very good,however the door was shipped with the wrong slide bar and I think this should have been caught in a final inspection. A phone call to Artisan resulted in the correct hardware being shipped, however , now I have to take the door down, and the bar drill the new one, and rehang the door.

Hardware was exactly as advertised- instructions were easy and our new split barn door looks fantastic!

What I thought would be complex was made very simple by the quality of the product and the customer service. I had never installed a barn door before but thought I was clear on what to order and how to do it. I called the customer service line just to verify. We walked through my order and what I believed to be the measurements I needed for a custom length. Once that was verified and just before I clicked send the representative asked If I new I was ordering a "cabinet" door kit as opposed to a full passage door. I said thanks for pointing that out and we switched my order to the correct one patiently and cheerfully. The product came earlier than expected and was of great quality and easy to assemble. When I realized I wanted a wall mount guide as opposed to a floor mount customer service said no problem and emailed me the correct return form. Thank you for all your help with was turned out to be a beautiful addition to our home.
