Fast help, and an awesome shave? Yes!
With a mailing issue, Athena club jumped on it Instantly and had a new shipment coming out to replace it immediately. Their email help option is faster than most places phones, and definitely faster than most places chats lol. Excellent razors, fast help for anything you need help for, and I don’t have to leave the house… What more can I ask for?

Terrible razor, shady company
Update based on the response received: having to wait a few weeks for a request to review the purchase ensures those who are dissatisfied with their purchase move on and forget about this garbage product. Customers should be able to review the products they pay for as soon as they get it. Validation is not our problem. Other companies have figured this out. Also, given how many negative reviews there are on Reddit and elsewhere, while almost none on the Athena Club site makes it obvious your review process is a scam.
Terrible razor. The blades are blunt, one must press quite hard and go over an area several times before getting a mediocre save with them. The wall attachment fell off after less than a day. I canceled my subscription immediately. Would hate to waste my money on another order. Why is it so hard to figure out how one can leave a product review on the Athena Club page? You'd think that would be pretty obvious. Very, very shady. Also, how do I return and get a refund?

I wanted to like these razors so badly…
I wanted to like these razors so badly because of the marketing and the price, but quite frankly they just don’t compare to other brands. I can’t get a close shave at all; I have to go over my shave about 7 times with a fresh razor and it still won’t get all the hairs. I don’t even have thick or course hair. Honestly, overall pretty disappointed

Disappointing service, website often inoperable, Multi-step cancellation process with a site that only periodically acknowledges cancellation requests
Within a couple weeks of receiving the trial razor offer, I attempted to adjust my subscription intervals. It was unable to locate where to do it on their site, so I wrote customer service. I asked them to please help me to increase the intervals. They said they would be happy to help me. The following day was a national holiday, and so I was not focused on this silly subscription. Then I see the Monday following Easter, they've already built my card for a shipment of razors, when I told him I had not had an opportunity to try the initial product, and furthermore wanted to increase the intervals between orders. Orders. I get an excuse email back detailing that they can't do anything about it even though it has not yet been processed for shipping on their end. They were able to process the payment just fine. Of course. From there, throughout today, I attempted to cancel the subscription from Huron. It took me over 6 attempts, through a multi-step cancellation process. Many times when I click to cancel, the site did not even acknowledge the click. I reported this to customer service, and from there, even though I included screenshots, there's been no response in my card remains build for a product I have no interest in. If my card is not credited back for the product that I clearly stated I did not want prior to the billing being processed, I will dispute the charge. This is bad business, and from the reviews I've read, I'm not the only one who's had a problem getting their sight to operate properly, and there are fair amount of people who are not happy with the performance of the razor as well. This is frustrating, time consuming, and has left me with no interest in their product nor service.

Garbage product
Garbage product. You get 2 blades and you pay over 30 for every order after your first introductory offer of 10$ which they pull out of your account within a couple weeks of buying your first order. Make sure you read the agreement!! They are a waste of good money don’t purchase these razors unless you have money to throw away. Better off buying from the pharmacy and at least getting more blades for the same price! I complained about them trying to take more money out of my account before the agreed upon time and they wrote back saying “oh you agreed to this when you signed up”. I agreed to have them send me new ones every 3 months and that I’d pay for what I ordered every 3 months not whenever they want like a couple weeks later! Bad company, mediocre product and shady business practices. Stay away!

AMAZING customer service
This company has some of the best customer service I have ever seen! I ordered two of their deodorants and one of them came damaged (it was melted). I emailed the company and within 20 minutes I had already gotten a response. They shipped me a new replacement deo free of cost and also included a free gift for my troubles. Safe to say, I will be a returning customer.

Devoted to Athena and won’t try other brands of razors! This company understands that happy customers stay customers! I recently needed to replace my Athena razor handle that had broken. I’ve used Athena for quite some time and thought maybe it was time to try a another brand just to see what was newly on the market. I always keep a good supply of razor blade refills on hand. Since I do have plenty of blade refills and I didn’t want to waste them, I reached out to see what Athena‘s Customer Service would say. Their representative, Sydni, responded almost immediately and with no questions asked said they were replacing my handle for free as it was already on the way. As I said, I’ve been using my Athena razors for quite some time and was in no way surprised that after dropping it more than once and keeping it in the steamy shower for years, the glue that held the assembly together finally failed. I never expected them to send a new handle for free. I was simply inquiring about the least expensive way to replace my handle, at my expense of course. Sydni, you handled everything beautifully and in the quickest and best way possible! I plan to use Athena razors as long as I have legs to shave! Thanks again for doing more than the right thing by this customer and earning my devotion for life!
My complaint is not with the product
My complaint is not with the product. I had bought it ad a gift so I don't know how well it works, but it was very pretty and seemed well made. My complaint is with trying to cancel the subscription. It's nearly impossible to find instructions on their site, in fact I had to email several times before a csr responded with all the steps. Even then, when I finally got to "cancel my subscription " and clicked that it didn't actually cancel. I went back to review and instead a box was checked for 'delay for 4 weeks '. Under that in tiny writing it said 'still want to cancel?'. I had to do this at least 3 times before I finally got verification that the subscription was canceled. Now they're still showing a pending deduction from my bank account although I canceled 3 days prior to shipping. I'm very disgusted with their business practices.
