Au Pair World changed my life! That's where I found my host family in Germany so many years ago and nowadays I'm such an advocate for it when teaching others how to be au pairs as well
You can find families on FB, on IG but anyone can pretend to be a host family. On Au Pair World not only they have people constantly screening signees, but they also provide all the information you need to know to see if and how you can be an au pair as well, whether you're from the EU or not

Great platform for finding families!
AuPair World is a great platform to find families in many different countries! It is free for au pairs to use and easy to set up a profile and scroll through all the families, I was looking for a family in Australia and was very fortunate when I came across the family I ended up living with! I definitely recommend as I wouldn’t have found such a great family if I hadn’t of used AuPair World.

Con AuPairWorld fue super fácil encontrar familias que se ajustaran a lo que estaba buscando y ponerme en contacto con ellas a través de su web. La página es muy sencilla e intuitiva y hay muchas familias registradas. Una vez te decides por una familia puedes usar su contrato modelo, lo que lo hace muy fácil. También pude encontrar consejos en su web para que mi experiencia fuera la mejor, ¡y así fue! Encontré una familia genial con la que tuve una bonita experiencia. Lo mejor de todo es que no tienes que pagar nada. He recomendado AuPairWorld a muchos amigos y lo seguiré haciendo.

AuPairWorld hat alles nötige zu bieten
AuPairWorld hat alles nötige zu bieten, was man zum Thema Au-Pair wissen muss. Alle Informationen kann man mit etwas Aufwand auf der Website finden. Die Suche nach einer Gastfamilie erfordert viel Zeit, die man sich bei so einem Schritt aber meiner Meinung nach nehmen sollte. Die Menge der Gastfamilien könnte etwas besser sein und manche Gastfamilien antworten nicht oder sehr spät. Alles in einem tut AuPairWorld aber das was es soll.

Erste Erfahrungen waren positiv!
Durch AuPairWorld haben wir unsere ersten Erfahrungen mit dem Thema Au-Pair gemacht. Wir konnten auf der Website alles finden, was wir an Informationen gebraucht haben. Das war super hilfreich und dadurch war die Aufnahme und Anreise unseres ersten Au-Pairs hervorragend vorbereitet. Das Au-Pair zu finden war nicht einfach und hat einige Zeit gekostet, aber es hat sich gelohnt! Wir können es empfehlen!

Used this to find my host family in Germany
I found AuPairWorld easy to use when I was searching for a family last year. I liked the process of creating my profile and how easy it was to edit it. Also its nice that as a future au pair you don't pay to use the site. I looked for families in Germany predominantly and there were so many lovely families I talked with. I used Aupairworld to see the host families profiles and reach out and after the first 2 messages I would either end the conversation or request a phone call. I did find the process of sifting through all the daily messages from new families but I think that's a common experience.

I did a subscription twice (three months the first time and now for 1 year) because I want to be free to look for aupairs anytime. Our experience with the website was simply great. Easy & quick. After that, finding the right aupair is our responsibility. I've been super lucky every single time because I take a lot of time for this process and I want to find the right person for my family! Now i'm hosting our 3rd and looking for the 4th and 5th aupair.
I had the chance to contact the customer service and they were simply great. I will go on with aupairworld hoping that my future aupairs will be as wonderful as the ones i've already hosted!

Wir haben ein Au-pair dank AuPairWorld.
Ein Au-pair aufzunehmen, war für uns in der Familie immer eine Option. Wir wollten nur nicht mit einer Organisation zusammenarbeiten, da diese sehr kostspielig werden können.
AuPairWorld war die perfekte Lösung. Man findet alle nötigen Informationen auf der Website, von Visa Bedingungen bis Informationen zu wie viel man einem Au-pair im Monat zahlen sollte.
Die Kontaktaufnahme mit einem Au-pair war Anfangs etwas holprig aber letztendlich haben wir ein Au-pair gefunden, dass gut zu uns passt. Darüber sind wir sehr froh.

They took my money
They took my money, I had use of the platform for 5 days and they shut my account down demanding I post my passport to them. They didn’t reply and I lost my money, my contacts, message and video calls I was setting up.

First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused. Unfortunately, as you did not provide the complete personal data necessary for a profile on AuPairWorld, your profile had to be temporally restricted.
According to our Terms of Service, which you have confirmed during registration, AuPairWorld reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the information in individual cases and possibly request corresponding documentary evidence from both, au pairs and host families. Given, that you did not complete the data requested, your profile was selected for an ID check. In this context, the following rules apply: the first name and last name must be indicated as stated in the identity card or passport. We consider this to be an essential basis for the security and trust-ability we provide for the families and au pairs registered with AuPairWorld.
We understand your hesitance in providing copies of personal documents via e-mail. However, note that the documents provided are only required for internal use to ensure the safety of all our users. After the verification, all the documents are, of course, deleted.
As a sign of goodwill, your profile was afterwards refrained from an ID check. As your profile is now active, you should have access to all your previous conversations with au pairs. If this is not the case, please inform our support team. This way we will be able to identify any potential technical problem.
Should you not wish to continue your search, please let us know and we will refund your membership fee accordingly.
