I had an exceptional experience at Avicenna Hospital. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. Dr Osman aktaş was highly skilled and took the time to explain everything in a way that put me at ease and managed to do an excellent job.
Joseph also made our stay and experience at Avicenna hospital very satisfying as he helped with translations and was able to make me feel comfortable throughout every stage of surgery/appointments and was very reassuring

All around a very good service! We felt very comfortable, were super enlightened and informed. The surgeon and the nurses were always available for us. We had a daily visit by the surgeon after the operation. The nutritionist was also very sympathetic and helpful. A very big compliment to the translators who are available 24/7 and coordinate everything.(Even before and after your stay in Turkey) Many thanks to Dr. Aktas and the entire hospital team. I can recommend the clinic for all nationalities.

Very professional hospital. All staff courteous & professional.
I went in for a rotator Cuff repair diagnosed in UK. MRI scan on arrival showed more damage than suggested. Dr Bekler (my surgeon) immediately adjusted my surgery to repair all muscle & tendon damage. All staff adapted to my changing needs. Recovery on the ward was attentive & responsive to any need or request.
Omar Arnaout was assigned to me as a translator & went above the requirement of this role. Available to help me with all problems between 07:00 & midnight as I required.
I would recommend this hospital without reservation.

The after care hotel was great . There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel and are very cheap to eat out ..

I travelled to Turkey from the UK for a lower face and neck lift, as well as Blepharoplasty.
Joseph was my point of contact from my initial enquiry, throughout my hospital stay, right up to my post-op check up with the surgeon before I departed.
Joseph was professional, knowledgeable, reassuring, proactive, and very quick to respond to all my questions and requests.
I felt in very safe hands from the off. Joseph was mindful of the fact I was very nervous about the procedures, especially having travelled alone (with the obvious language barriers). He ensured I was comfortable and confident with my treatment throughout. His commitment to his patients care is exemplary.
Dr Emre performed my surgeries and I am already ecstatic with the immediate results. Even though I still have a great deal of healing time ahead before I can truly appreciate the results I am over the moon! He is an incredibly gifted surgeon.
Dr Emre was meticulous during my consultation and really took note of what I was unhappy about and hoping to improve.
I cannot recommend Joseph and Dr Emre highly enough.

I attended Jan 2024, before surgery I literally couldn't fault anything after there was a few issues. I felt rushed out of the hospital on the day of my discharge & when I was asking questions I felt like the surgeon & the translator weren't listening to me, they were constantly looking at their phones. I was disappointed with this because beforehand everything was spot on. I do plan on going back this Oct so hopefully things have improved. With the surgery & nursing staff I ain't able to fault, few issues in healing when I got home, it took longer than initially thought & had to see a nurse at home but nothing major. Sometimes there was a language barrier but solved with a translation app. Surgeon visited everyday I was in hospital to check wounds. He wasn't very good in getting back to me with requests I had made for photos etc but prev to this he did answer all me questions on the consultation.
Hopefully when I attend in Oct I will see that they have both improved the service to patients, I get they are busy but the patient in front of them needs their full attention for that time period. It isn't an easy thing to go abroad for surgery so making the patient feel heard, comfortable & at ease should be a top priority!

I’ve just returned to Uk after surgery at Avicenna. From start to finish my experience was 100% excellent I cannot fault anything. The whole journey was perfect and I’ve no doubt this was due to the fact that Joseph was advising and directing. He was a joy, very professional very kind and caring nothing was too much trouble All the staff were brilliant. My surgeon Dr Caner Kaya did an amazing job. If anyone is considering this journey they don’t need to research any other providers like I did just go for this one you won’t be disappointed

Would like to say a huge thank you to dr caner kaya my surgeon for the results he has achieved during my surgery also a huge thank you to all the nurses at Avicenna everything was amazing from start to finish of my stay here but especially to my patient coordinator Omar who went above and beyond the call of duty and made our entire trip to Istanbul a lot better who accommodated our needs and wants even when he didn’t have to I cannot rate this whole experience enough if I could give it 10 stars I would! Definitely will be recommending to all my friends and family!!

I had breast and abdominoplasty surgery in the aviccenna hospital with Dr asude kuksel, everything was great and the treatment staff was great, especially bourchin ❤️ she helped me alof , she gave the right advice everything was great

Joseph really is an angel! As expected, travelling from the uk was very nerve wracking but from the moment I met Joseph I was completely at ease. I have never met someone so brilliant at their job! Dr Caner is a magician! He knew straight away the procedure and how it would look afterwards. He even came round to check on me multiple times afterwards to ensure I was pleased at every stage with his work and not in pain. There is quite literally no other place I could have gone and received the support I did. Thankyou to the staff at Avicenna! You are amazing.

All the services were eficiente, i could enjoy the experience and relax having good time before and after surgery, beeing abroad, having someone to organize all, what was necessary.
