The products are not!! handmade...they come from a factory in China and the ceramic flowers are rubbish...this is a scam website!!

Bought 2 bee houses believing the lovely story about the retiring old guy hand making them. Arrived from Hong Kong - obviously factory made. Return to Hong Kong at my expense. This is not an honest company. Wish I’d checked these reviews before purchasing.

Absolutely low grade product complete sham these people need locking up for hoodwinking people for Artisan products that are from China

I discovered that my credit card was used for a bogus purchase. I have never purchased anything from this company. I would like to know how my credit card was used without the CCV code.

Just like the other reviews, this hedgehog house purportedly hand-made in Devon is a piece of cheap rubbish made in China. I can't believe I fell for this scam too. Do not buy anything from these thieves!

This is yet another scam where cheap Chinese made goods purport to be artisan made good quality things. I can't believe I fell for this. The same item (hedgehog house, supposedly made by a hedgehog expert about to retire) could be bought on Amazon for around £25 and I paid £90. Came with no instructions, which were promised. More fool me.

Ordered handcrafted wooden items. Got Plastic, product rubbish. Fear I will not be able to return. Ripped off totally.

I too ordered a hedgehog house. It arrived not as described, shoddy, falling apart & totally unfit for purpose. I too was told to return to Hong Kong or get 25% refund. Feeling VERY foolish.

Do not purchase from these people. Complete scam. The product was nothing like as was advertised. To get a full refund, they asked for it to be posted to Hong Kong (for something advertised as handmade in the UK) otherwise they offered a 25% refund.

Money taken but no acknowledgement or goods and contact email bounces back with contact phone number unobtainable. Absolute scam.

Product is not what they advertise. It is a mass produced item coming out of China. Priced as if a handmade item from Australia (woman living in the outback ).
Shame on them.

Wish I came here first. Ordered 2 sets of Bee attracting flowers which were quite large on the website, but the flowers are very small about 3cm across and any water will evaporate fast or tip out. Scam. Do not buy!!!! Post came from China, not some elderly woman in the outback Aust. as in the ad.

This is a scam. They are claiming products are handmade but they are just on selling cheap temu products at 4 times the price

SCAM artists !!!! Do NOT buy from them said local artist made the bags in Australia they come from China i asked for a refund 27 hours after ordering they said I get a partial refund this is written NO WHERE !!!

Ordered set of 4 bee attracting coloured clay flowers for bees to drink water from, supposedly hand made 'with textured clay finish'. They were in fact high gloss, glass like finish, no grip for insects to cling to so not fit for purpose. All identical shape which look mass produced cheap imitations. Metal stems were 20 cm not 30 cms and flowers were quite small. Not worth money paid.

THIS IS A SCAM. They advertise these wood spirit bird nesting boxes that are carved out of one piece of wood, and show birds wanting to nest in them because of this fact. We received a much smaller version of the birdhouse advertised, and it is in fact CLEARLY not made out of wood, but some kind of plastic. I dont understand how they think we could possibly ever mistake it for a wood carving once we have the product.

They are selling fake AI products with fake websites describing them as handmade goods. I've reported all of their Google ads. Google has the power to weed these ads out automatically but it earns them money so the public is out at risk for the sake of con artists making money with fraudulent websites. I am tech savvy enough to see it's fake but older people are at risk.

This is a scam website that fakes an etsy type set up selling hand made limited edition goods by named creators that either do not exist or have had elements of their content stolen and repurposed. The marketing is fake. The uk company behind this website (which is facing strike off on Companies House) has been reported previously for setting up other websites that lie to customers about the provenance of the goods they are buying to scam them. I have informed my bank and expect they will institute a chargeback. The website is less than a month old so further complaints will likely be forthcoming. IF YOU'VE BEEN AFFECTED YOU CAN CONTACT YOUR BANK AND ASK FOR A CHARGEBACK ON PAYMENTS BECAUSE BACKROAD GOODS IS COMMITTING FRAUD.
