I am new to amateur radio and purchased a Baofeng radio as my first transceiver at the recommendation of an experienced amateur radio operator. It's hard to beat Baofeng's prices for a radio with as many features. Based on prior experience with transceivers or other parts of the spectrum, I was expecting to hear a lot of traffic. Also the transceiver I bought has a button that switches the receiver to the commercial FM radio broadcast band. I initially was not hearing any audio on any of the radio's bands or frequencies. It took a few e-mails back and forth with Baofeng's support department, but the replies were always helpful, prompt and polite. I learned that the particular model I bought does not receive commercial FM radio broadcasts, even though it has the button and the display - no big deal - that's not why I bought it, and after some coaching and experimentation I have heard transmissions on the other bands the radio receives. I commend Baofeng for its customer service quality, which is unfortunately too often not the case any more.

There was incorrect stock information on the webshop, which I was unaware of. Support changed my order to a larger package at no extra cost. The day after ordering, I received a letter about what had happened, there was nothing further I could do. This is very considerate and generous.

I had received a defective radio, it happens no big deal, but I reached out to customer support and had a response and return shipping to RMA in less then 72 hours. Olivia solved my driver problem with the new DM 32 UV model and Windows 11. I couldn't get the CPS to communicate with my laptop computer. She not only solved my problem, but she explained why it was problem. She even sent me the correct driver, with instructions on how to load it. Great customer service .

I just purchased my first GMRS radios, Baofeng UV-5G Plus. I was having problems connecting them to my laptop and was convinced that something was defective and was ready to send them back. But I contacted Baofeng Help through their website, explained the problem, and received a response back from Olivia within hours. She had several suggested fixes, and her first suggestion fixed the problem (it was my mistake). So glad I choose Baofeng for my first radios.

Had an issue with missing antenna, 2 replacements were prompltly sent and now the radio works well. Thank you Baofeng support

Radio had issues. All issues except one was fixed. Sent a replacement (didn't have to give back old one), which had the same issue. Ended up with a partial refund, and two mostly working radios, and very good price. Highly recommend. You can be assured that your radio will either work completely as described, a full refund, or a mix of both.

I find incredible that this company has 4.9 stars.
THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
When things gets tough they duck out and they do not answer anymore.
I am an electronic engineer with quite a bit of knowledge in RF, it appears that I am disturbing and is better to shut me down.
The DM 32 UV , when you take the battery out EXTREMELY CLEARLY says that it goes to 480 MHZ.
Moreover their official printed manual on top of page 53 very clearly states V00 TX to 480 MHZ.
Now they say no but an RX channel/s can be input beyond 470 Mhz but it does not work.\
I asked again and no answers of any kind.
On Facebook there is a DM 32 group (not sure who really controls it, but...........) and my yesterday comments, including photo of the radio has been deleted totally.
What kind of professional company is this that disregards the customer that have given them money for product/s ??????????

Olivia got back to me with the Cure quote on quote. Her suggestion worked perfectly and I now have my uv-9g working again.
