I have just had my bathroom done by Bathroom by Design and it has totally transformed my flat. My design consultant, Morgana Carla designed the most beautiful bathroom that now feels like a sanctuary!
From the start Morgana was so friendly and helpful and created the perfect bathroom for the very small space . Her choices of bathroom furniture and fittings together with the colour scheme created a calm, contemporary finish and I was immediately inspired.
Throughout the process Morgana was always easy to contact and able to solve any problems easily. She made this whole experience really pleasant and I am so grateful she designed this beautiful bathroom for me . I would totally recommend Morgana and the company if you are looking for a new bathroom ! It’s not an easy decision and quite a daunting prospect having a complete install - but the whole process was seamless! I thoroughly
Our loo was leaking so I called the Richmond branch who advised me that the brand had gone out of business. However, they had a similar model in stock in their warehouse in Isleworth. The cost was £202 including VAT. I sent my plumber to pick it up who was told the Richmond salesman was wrong and the cost was £411. I paid and the lady assistant then said it was buried behind some pallets and couldn't be accessed until the next day. This episode cost me £150. I called Richmond to complain and was told that a manager would call me back. That never happened. My plumber went back the next day and was told that if he attempted to install the new loo and it didn't fit there would not be any rebate on return. So we were forced to gamble and in fact the new loo did fit. My plumber said the customer service staff in Isleworth were hopeless mirroring my experience at the Richmond branch. My recommendation is if you need anything for a bathroom find another supplier
This is the second time we've used BathroomsByDesign, once for our previous flat and now for our new home, and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Chris at the Richmond branch has been with us both times, and his support from start to finish has been outstanding.
What sets them apart is how genuinely involved they get in the whole process. They'll sit with you, understand your aesthetic, and make thoughtful recommendations that actually feel personal rather than off-the-shelf. One of the standout features is their VR design tool, which lets you visualise the finished bathroom before anything is even ordered. It's a game-changer when you're making big decisions.
Chris and the team bring real expertise to every detail, so nothing gets overlooked. But what's meant the most to us, both times, is how seriously they take your budget. They're honest, practical, and proactive about keeping costs on track, and they even recommend trusted installers, which takes so much stress out of the process.
If you're thinking about a bathroom renovation, do yourself a favour and speak to Chris first. Exceptional service, twice over.

Bathroom by Design, was one of the best decisions we made when it come to our house renovations. From the initial meeting with Chris in Richmond through to delivery was perfect. December 2025; With the advent of time living in a home with teenagers things get damaged. Liaising with the after sales team has enabled us to replace items easily with minimal disruption.

Having had a very underwhelming experience with a popular bathroom showroom, I was so happy to discover Bathrooms by Design. They listened to what I wanted, were patient and helped me design a bathroom that I was happy with. Seeing it in 3D also helped to reassure me. Then, turning that into reality - amazing!! Special mention to Morgana for being an amazing bathroom design consultant!
We recently needed to design and install a bathroom, en-suite and downstairs cloakroom. We were initially a bit wary of using a company like this for the design as we (mistakenly as it turned out) thought it would cost way more than doing it ourselves.
To cut a long story short, I wish we had gone to this company from the very beginning. We ended up visiting the Richmond showroom and the designer we worked with (Hish) was outstanding. Even though the bathrooms were half done by the time we started working with him, he happily picked up these designs and worked with us to transform them - ultimately delivering something we absolutely love.
Hish was brilliant to work with - he listened and took on board all our thoughts, was incredibly patient when we changed our minds back and forth (!!), had great product expertise and great attention to detail.
It was a genuinely enjoyable experience designing our bathrooms with Hish and, to top it off, he was able to get all the products cheaper than we would have been able to get them ourselves online!
Per the above, my one regret is that we did not start working with this company and Hish much earlier in the process as would have been much less stressful and cheaper overall!

We had an urgent requirement to fit out our bathroom. We visited BBD on a Sunday afternoon and Morgana worked with us to develop an excellent deliverable solution. Morgana was able to ring us back with a full quote which was cheaper than the quote we received from West One within half an hour. Great customer service!
If you’re after the used-car-salesman experience in bathroom form, look no further. I popped into the showroom to check prices on sanitary ware and was instantly treated to an unsolicited budget interrogation. The moment I mentioned my perfectly reasonable £5–6k budget (which, fun fact, I’m now on track to meet elsewhere), I was met with the kind of skepticism usually reserved for people claiming they’ve seen UFOs.
Rather than help me find anything within my range, I was treated to a fairytale about “premium” European brands and why I should apparently double my budget to join their elite club. Customer care? Not a chance. This place is all sales pitch, no substance — a truly grim experience.
The 2 stars redemption is due to the free parking available at the Richmond branch. And that's about it.

Morgana has been an absolute gem throughout our entire bathroom renovation journey, and we can't praise her enough. From the very beginning, she demonstrated an incredible amount of patience and understanding as she worked with my wife and me to bring our vision to life. No matter how many questions we had or how many changes we made along the way, Morgana was always there with a calm, helpful attitude—making sure we were comfortable and confident every step of the way.
Her design skills are truly second to none. She took the time to understand our needs and preferences, and was meticulous in her suggestions, guiding us on everything from the layout to the finest details. We really appreciated how she helped us choose the perfect fixtures, taking into account both style and functionality. And the best part? She organized everything—coordinating with suppliers, managing timelines, and ensuring that each detail was taken care of—so we didn't have to worry about a thing.
The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and surprisingly enjoyable, thanks to Morgana’s expertise and dedication. She made what could have been a daunting project feel effortless, and the end result is a bathroom that we absolutely love.
If we ever decide to make any changes or renovations in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Morgana again. She has earned our highest recommendation, and we truly couldn’t be happier with her work.

Customer service is very poor. If you need a replacement, you may have to wait 4-8 weeks or, in some cases, more to get it. Just imagine you installed your toilet, but the seat is not fit for purpose, so you stuck with a toilet without a seat for eight weeks or more. I had a situation where I needed a replacement; they said the manufacturer said it would take two weeks (and you have to pay extra). Then I ordered from the manufacturer directly, and it was next-day delivery. This is just an example out of many situations I encountered with them. I spent around £10K on a bathroom with them, and when it comes to service, it was preposterous. There were a number of things the designer did wrong, and straight away they said you should have checked before ordering that the items were right. There was no ownership or responsibility when things went wrong. Basically, you say something, they will forward this to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer replies to you. In the middle, they cannot do anything. I have done my due diligence as much as possible, but as I am paying them, the designer should have made sure so many things were right, such as my £10K bathroom's toilet seat not being soft closing. And when it comes to replacement, they said you have to pay for a new seat; we won't replace it because you didn't check before ordering. I would not recommend them at all because the prices are premium, but the services are super third class. They will make you do every possible way to stress you out. They are not helpful; again, it's not about any individual; it's on company policy. Their return policy is seriously limited and very complicated; they will even charge you something called a 'restocking fee,' which means no full refund even if the product is not right for you. So, I would avoid spending my money here.

We had a series of difficulties with the Brentford branch of this company which resulted in our bathroom project being an unnecessarily stressful experience. They made several errors, firstly at the ordering stage and again on delivery. That was OK, mistakes happen, but it was the way these were dealt with that made the experience stressful. The company's disclaimer locates all responsibility for the detection of errors with the customer- so if BBD order the wrong item, its for you to identify; if they have mixed up items on the delivery, it is for you to investigate. Whilst they did eventually largely right their wrongs, the process of getting there was something of a battle and when you are the paying customer it really shouldn't be.
