Beautifully sounding instruments. Light and warm. I very much like that even with soft touch it brings such a great sound. Shipping went all well.

Battiloro is of the opinion that they don't have to abide by our laws here in Germany. I have a valid warranty claim, but they are giving me the runaround—simply not responding anymore. More than two thousand euros down the drain. A definite no-go.

Bella esperienza da rifare

I purchased the Shandi drum: 20 note D Kurd for 3,990 Euros (6700 CAD). At first the customer service was outstanding, very responsive and willing to engage via Whatsapp. They have even sent me a very brief video of the drum being played - very brief, very quick and a poor quality recording of which they warned me when they sent the video. I received the drum on June 29th, 2026 and was at first, understandably, awestruck as it is a beautiful instrument. Within the first few hours of having received it, I did notice that one of the notes had a warbled sound on the sustain. Importantly, at no point in the video were the notes struck and allowed to resonate enough to hear this distortion.

On July 4, I reported the issue for the first time. The very first response I received was, "Mmmmm I don't think so. We do not ship any instrument if it is not perfect."

I attempted to explain what I was hearing but was willing to consider that perhaps the instrument was not resonating properly because of the stand. I had ordered an Atlas stand and we agreed that I would wait until I received the new stand to see if it made a difference. I received the stand and there was no difference. I began playing for friends who, with no musical training whatsoever, quickly noticed the problem as well.

I wrote again explaining that the problem was persisting. The next response referred to what I could be doing wrong followed by, again I quote, "I think that we have spipped you one of our best instruments."

On July 9 I wrote again. I stressed that I was no in way trying to insult their craftmanship but that I simply wanted to work towards a solution. This correspondence occured on July 8, ten days after receiving the drum. The response was, "Certainly, I understand, Even if there is nothing that we can do about it."

I wrote back expressing my dissatisfaction with their responses, noting that at no time had they asked for further clarification, to engage in a video call, or offer to work with me towards a solution. I expressed confusion and quite frankly irritation at their continued focus on how perfect the drum was and how amazing of artisans they are.

I again wrote on July 10 expressing a sincere desire to ensure that the drum was at least fixable. I did not receive a reply. I sent another video clip which captured the sound issue more clearly and to which three other handpan makers had identified as a problem.

On Wedensday, July 15 - now 1 day past the 14 day "cooling off period" during which you can return the drum, stating that they did not think there was a problem but rather that it was simply the activation of the octave. For reference, I am a classically trained pianist and have been playing drum for a year. This was discordant.

I decided that I wanted to return the drum and informed them of the same to which I was told the return period had expired.

While Battiloro makes beautiful instruments, they were completely unable to grasp that an instrument can be well made, beautiful AND have a defect all at the same time. At no point did they express a desire to investigate the problem or explore options. Never in my life have I experienced customer service like this where the primary concern seems to be defending themselves before even asking pertinent questions.

In the end, they have refused to consider a return despite the fact that I began speaking about this only 4 days after receiving the drum - well within the 14 day return policy. It very much feels that they dragged it on intentionally to allow the time to elapse so that I would not have a choice.

Advice to future buyers: if you experience a problem with your drum, do not attempt to speak to them about it. Simply return it and buy elsewhere.

I love my Tanit handpan! It looks and sounds beautiful with its golden, luminous tone. And I love that it is tuned to 432Hz, which is precisely what I wanted. I am so very pleased with my purchase, and will buy a second, different model at some point.

Je viens d'acheter mon second handpan (Rhiver) chez Battiloro. Le premier achat date d'un mois (Argus). Je dois dire que les 2 instruments sont remarquables et d'une musicalité inégalée de tous les nombreux handpans que j'ai pu écouter. Les gammes sont particulièrement bien construites et donnent des vraies personnalités musicale à chaque instrument.
De plus, il y a un vrai suivi lors des envois et lorsque le prestataire n'est pas à la hauteur, Battiloro prend les choses en main (merci Valantina...).
Bref, pour tous les amateurs de handpans, je ne peux que conseiller BATTILORO.

Conseillé par un ami qui a acheté chez vous . Très heureuse de voir autant de séries d’instruments. J’ai choisi le mien au pendule puisque je ne pouvais pas vraiment imaginer les notes . Je suis très heureuse de mon choix et tout s’est très bien passé pour la commande . Et si j’avais sû qu’un bon de réduction serait accordé après la commande j’aurais passé une commande pour chaque article ! C’est ainsi 😊🙏. Réactivé à la question par mail 👍. Meine Erfahrungen mit battiloro-handpan.com⁠ waren von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend.
Ursprünglich hatte ich die Vega bestellt, die durch einen unsachgemäßen Transport beschädigt ankam und dann kurzfristig leider nicht lieferbar war. Anstatt mich lange warten zu lassen, hat Battiloro eine äußerst großzügige und kundenfreundliche Lösung gefunden:
Aus Kulanz erhielt ich eine 13-tönige Shedar als Ersatz.
Dieses Entgegenkommen hat mich wirklich beeindruckt und zeigt, wie wichtig dem Unternehmen die Zufriedenheit seiner Kunden ist.
Hier wurde absolut vorbildlich reagiert. Der Umtausch erfolgte schnell, unkompliziert und ohne jegliche Diskussionen.

I’ve played many handpans over the years, and I’ve had the opportunity to experience instruments from a wide range of makers. However, the handpans from Battiloro truly stand out to me.

There is something very special about the way these instruments resonate. The sound is warm, rich, and deeply expressive, with a beautiful sustain that seems to linger effortlessly.

Two scales that particularly touched me are the Hijaz and the Perseide Ember. Both have a unique character and emotional depth that immediately draw you in. The Hijaz has a captivating, soulful quality, while the Perseide Ember feels warm, inspiring, and incredibly immersive to play.

What I appreciate most is how naturally these handpans respond. They invite creativity, meditation, and genuine musical expression. The craftsmanship, tuning quality, and resonance are exceptional.

For anyone looking for a handpan with warmth, beauty, and outstanding resonance, I can wholeheartedly recommend Battiloro. Their instruments are among the most inspiring handpans I have ever played.

Ich habe mir eine Handpan aus der Infinity Serie bei Battiloro gekauft und bin absolut begeistert, sie ist einfach wunderbar. My friends and I have tried a few Battiloro Handpans🛸 in our Singapore Handpan Studio and we really love 💖 the healing hz and the tOuch of them✨ The craftmanship is excellent~ My Rhonan can be placed on the stand although there are 7 bottom notes. My favourites are the low notes of Noreia and the Ding of Luna. Actually ALL Battiloro Handpans 🛸 are awesome, we are crazy over our Battiloro. Mi sono accostata a questo meraviglioso strumento dopo anni di ascolto ,e alla Battiloro leggendo proprio le recensioni. Debbo dire che le mie aspettative sono state di gran lunga superate. Professionalità e cortesia in un contesto molto accogliente. L'insegnante e' stato molto professionale ma anche empatico e le due lezioni per principianti mi hanno entusiasmata ed inoltrata in un mondo di sonorità tutte da scoprire.

Meine neue Handpan River von Battiloro gefällt mir außerordentlich. Sie hat einen mystischen Klang in Cis Moll , eine tolle Haptik und ein fantastisches Aussehen.
Der Service von der Firma ist schnell, zuverlässig und sehr freundlich.
Ich kann diese Firma wärmstens empfehlen!
