Review of tour of Rodin de Paris and Chartes Cathedral by Frederic Meunier.

Frederic Meunier is a great, very professional tour guide. He was our private tour guide of the Rodin museum in Paris and Chartres Cathedral. He has a wealth of knowledge and was able to accommodate different levels of knowledge in our group. He is personable, accommodating, and very enjoyable to converse with on many subjects. He also has a wonderful sense of humor and is quite witty. I highly recommend Frederic as a private tour guide.

Philippe is a terrific guide. He was with us for both Normandy and Giverny tours. He is immensely knowledgeable about both. He has a plan for each tour but is very flexible to modify if needed. He detoured at Normandy to help find a relative's D-Day marker and was extremely patient for our extended time in the Giverny gift shop!

I would tour with Best of France and specifically Philippe on a future trip to France.

We took a Best of France day tour to the Champagne region while staying in Paris. It was the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Frederic, was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and arranged our day perfectly. We toured and had tastings at two champagne houses, visited the cathedral at Reims, and had an excellent lunch at a fantastic restaurant. With door to door service from our hotel in Paris, this truly was an extremely fun, hassle-free and educational tour. Would highly recommend!!

Eight American ladies (none of which speak French) extended the half day Giverny trip to include lunch and the additional museum on the Giverny grounds. We were escorted by Frederic who provided transportation to and from our Paris Hotel to make this a very memorable excursion. Frederic had the appropriate information, wit and charm to keep us all engaged from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in Monet and/or impressionism. I understand Frederic also tours other sites both within Paris and its surrounding areas, so I will be requesting him as my guide, when needed in Paris.

We contacted Best Of France Tours prior to our trip to Paris and Philippe organized the perfect day trip for us. WE had a great experience. Phillip, our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a great day.

I have used the Best of France tours for three years. I have never been disappointed. Philippe is an absolute delight! I have been on the Champagne tour twice. Once with Philippe and once with Frederic. Both are very professional yet warm and inviting. They are very passionate about the tours. We were there at the harvesting of the grapes. We visited two producers. The small producers just finished pressing the grapes. Philippe wanted us to see the pressed grapes, so he made a call to a friend and we were able to see this. You would not get this personal treatment with other companies. Always willing to go the extra mile to make your tour the best experience he can.

I have used Philippe Brimont and his Best of France tours since 2010 each time we visit Paris. He has personally shown us Normandy (2010), Giverny (2010) and Champagne (2010 & 2018), his birthplace. His colleagues have just as expertly guided us through the castles of the Loir Valley (2013) and Mt. Saint Michel (2015). Each experience has been truly, "The Best of France". I cannot recommend him and his company highly enough. We will be returning to Paris next year with friends, and will undoubtedly be using his services again for our day excursions.

Our guide, Philippe, took us on an overnight tour of Mont St. Michel and the D-Beaches of Normandy. We rode around in a luxury SUV and we were treated to interesting insists about the area along the way. Philippe was accommodating to my father's needs who had walking limitations. His knowledge about the events that happened before and after D-Day were highlights of the trip. He had a booklet with maps and interesting stories that added to the experience. We could not have hoped for a better excursion. We had lunch at two exceptional restaurants – Le Pre Sale at Mont St. Michel, and another local favorite, La Sapinier in Normandy. We sampled the local cider and had to find a place to buy more to take back home. Even the town we stayed in overnight, Bayeux, was a treat. We stayed at a wonderful little B&B – Le Castel, plus viewed a beautiful cathedral, and had a lovely dinner at Le Pommier. We would highly recommend Best of France Tours especially for a return trip to Paris because they offer other excursions.

Philippe Brimont was the most amazing tour guide. His depth of knowledge and ability to share it was wonderful. I would highly recommend this company and especially him. He was prompt, enjoyable to spend the day with, brought us to a lovely local restaurant and we were treated like family. It was a highlight for our 8 day trip in France. Merci Beaucoup!!

Olivier did a great job as our guide on this wonderful tour. We visited Claude Monet's home and garden in Giverny first, and it was delightful. Then we toured Versailles and were completely blown away by the Chateau and gardens. Outstanding day!

Because we had very little time in Paris, I booked the 1/2 day Versailles tour ahead of time. When I emailed questions to BOF, they were answered quickly. I was provided the name and phone number of our tour guide Frederic ahead of time, and he arrived at our hotel to pick us up on time. He expertly navigated Paris traffic, and at my request took me past the school in Versailles where I was a prof many years ago. This was my daughter and grandson's first trip to France. I've had the pleasure of visiting the palace many times, but because of time constraints, we had to get to Versailles a few hours after our 10-hour flight, so I was happy to leave the driving and tour to an expert. Frederic has years of guiding experience, and you will be delighted with him. He is very well-informed and tailors his information to the age and interests of those with him. It was 96 degrees the day we were there, so we requested limiting the time in the blazing sun of the gardens, and Frederic took us to the old stables, now the carriage museum, which I had never seen in all my prior visits.
I regret that we didn't have time to take the Louvre tour with Frederic as he spoke of the 3 rooms of Versailles furnishings which are now there.

This was my first experience with Best of France Tours, but I highly recommend them for their professionalism and dependability.

From the moment we were picked up by Philippe, we were completely overwhelmed with both his personal attention to every detail and the truly once-in-a-lifetime experience he created for our anniversary! His Mercedes was spotless. He took us to a gorgeous, small Champagne House where we could learn right in the cellar and watch the bottles receive hand-placed labels. Then we were taken to a story-book hillside overlooking vineyards, a small village and a beautiful river for a picnic he thoughtfully selected. We got to meet another Champagne maker who exuded love of life. We drove through the town with more tour guiding from Philippe. He is knowledgeable, kind, and speaks flawless English. He scheduled a private tour of Dom Perignon where we learned even more and were treated like mega-stars. Every moment of this day will stay with us forever. Please know that while this tour is extremely costly, you should save room in your budget to tip Philippe because you will find him to be one of the finest tour guides you have ever met.
