I submitted my car finance claim back…
I submitted my car finance claim back in January 2025. All seemed to be going well, they would regularly update me. Then I received a text message saying my car finance compensation claim is ready to sign and click on the link to continue the claim. I also continually got text to say we have passed your claim on to our partner consultation claims. When I clicked on the link it takes me to blue pandas website to start the whole process again. I spoke to consultation claims and they said their fees are up to 36%. I complained and I was told this is the standard fee across the board, which it isn’t. It’s 30% max. I also have an email from one of their ‘sales men’ saying it’s from 15-30%. This whole process has been a complete waste of time. Save yourself from the cowboy company and go directly to the FCA where you can submit it for free and keep 100% of any claim.

I have the email stating 15-30% with no VAT which I sent you.
Again- you sent me a link saying your claim is ready- click here to sign. It takes me to a link on your website asking if I’ve had finance in the last X years - the exact same questions I had at the beginning. All the details which you already have, which is just a waste of my time.

Once again, the industry standard fee set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is between 15-30% + VAT which equates to 18-36% inclusive of the VAT which was explained to you on a phone. If any company is following the FCA's guidelines then these will be the fees presented to their clients
We apologise once again what was stated in the email and we extend our apologies further in making you feel as though you were starting the whole process again, but this isn't the case.
The link we send, asks for your details again in order to populate the Letter of Authority for you to be able sign our partner's paperwork there and then, this was for the continuation of your claim.
