Warning, do not use Boomer Benefits
Boomer Benefits signed me up for supplement plans without my authority. This was an obvious way to get their commission. Jan 2024, I signed up through Boomer for my Wife and I to start us each on plan G, part D and Dental. I gave them my bank account for payments. So, January there was a first charge to open my accounts.
Soon after, my retirement was delayed, I emailed my Boomer rep, Kate to let her know I was delaying signing up for Medicare so I would also delay starting my supplements. Around August, my retirement was delayed again so I let Boomer know I would let them know when I would need the supplements to start, most likely in early 2026. A couple months later, checking my bank account, I found a total of 5 months of charges totaling approximately $1,600 gone from my account. I immediately emailed Boomer requesting refunds. It has taken 3 months, many emails back and forth and over 30 hours of phone conversations with Cigna to finally receive refunds on our plan G. But, Cigna will not refund the $500 for dental plans. When i requested that refund from Boomer, since this was their fault, they denied the request. Boomer also claims they tried to help me get all refunds but Cigna never received any request from Boomer for my refunds. So all they did was steal my money. They took my money before they had my approval to do so, and before I was on Medicare. They are responsible for me losing $500 and all my lost time. This is a warning. Find another Medicare broker. Do not use Boomer Benefits.

Zach talks a good game. Fails on execution.
Zach talks a good game. Fails to execute. He was a good salesman and helped me sign up for a medigap product. It was declined by Cigna. I tried 3 times to get in touch with boomer benefits after that and never got a call back. I was worried about my coverage in 2026. So I found another broker that stepped up and took care of my needs and now I am set for 2026. It seems their sales talks a good game but the customer service end doesnt follow up.

Boomer Benefits is an honest and great company. Specifically, Ruth Oekerman, has been extremely helpful in getting my wrongly charged medical bills filed correctly and properly paid for by my Medicare Supplement plan. She is always patient and kind. She always communicates well with the progress and the status of my cases. She is a great ambassador in customer care for Boomer Benefits. OUTSTANDING Company
What a OUTSTANDING Company and Staff. I've spent 45 minutes on the phone asking questions with Jaime Myers today and he never expressed any indication that I was wasting time or asking dumb questions. He went above and beyond giving me explanations and suggestions for me to consider in my decision making. I believe I'm overthinking this whole process and these people help to calm your nerves and walk you through the options and offer helpful information for your consideration. I just can't thank you all enough. All of this after spending 2 entire days reviewing and researching issues and calling providers just to get more confused and little help from them

I consulted Boomer Benifits for my Healthcare needs. They signed me up for a plan I did not qualify for and quoted me prices on my prescriptions that were very inaccurate. Disappointed is an understatement. Now I'm without insurance and have multiple needs to continue my health progress.

This company is really bad
These people are horrible. I asked them over and over not to contact me but they don't stop. Finally after telling them many times, they stopped, but now I am facing the same problem getting off their email list. Don't ever go on their website or they will never stop harassing you.

Fake reviews. Boomer is a shame.They do NOT help you. They don't even apologize or try to help when they are wrong. For example, I was asked to look for an email with a title that does NOT exist. 3 days before the end of the month, they were incapable of providing me with a plan D. I have to do the job for them. They dont explain you the deal when you switch to medicare. Veronica weas particularly abnoxious and deiceded that shge would hang up because I was teling her to stop telliong me repaetely that she "told me", which is a lie.

Melanie was very thorough throughout my change of my Medicare supplement plan. She also followed up with my former company to make sure the old policy was cancelled. I'm very satisfied.
Nice Representatives but Bad Advice
This was my second year on Medicare and I reached out to Boomer Benefits for advice on my Part D drug plan. They ran all of my medications through their system and found a plan that reportedly covered all my meds. Based on their suggestion, I switched from United Healthcare (which did cover all of my meds in 2024) to Humana. However, after I filled my Dulera inhaler (that I had been stable on for 7+ years) through Humana in January, I was sent a letter from Humana that said they would not cover it going forward unless I could prove that I had tried other (cheaper) inhalers first. Since I have severe asthma, I was unwilling to risk my health by trying other inhalers. So I am now stuck paying $200/month (using a coupon) due to the poor advice given to me by Boomer Benefits. There is nothing I can do about it. The $200 will not even go toward my out-of-pocket expenses as it’s not covered through Humana. The representatives are nice, but untrained, non-medical people who don’t understand the ins and outs or fine prints of insurance plans.
