Approach with caution. They are rogue cowboys and have no intention of honouring the quote. Total disgrace of a company and I wish i read trustpilot prior to sending my device. They purposely provi... Toon meer

Great experience
The phone was received really quickly and I was contacted straight away to say they had got the phone.
They provided me with a copy of the report of the phone and informed me of the reasons the phone had to be revalued.
I was really happy with the communication received and how quickly they worked to send me over my money.
Thank you so much :)

Awful
Awful. Fake high offers to buy then excuse after excuse not to pay. I will be pursuing in small claims court
They seem to be connected to back market. Use other phone buyers.

Disingenuous company who hold you over…
Disingenuous company who hold you over a barrel. I sent my phone to boost in near mint condition and listed as "good". Once received they emailed me asking for proof of purchase or they would only be able to offer me less than half the original offer. I sent proof they then offered and extra £50 as they said they also wanted a bank statement. When I said come on, I've sent you the apple store receipt with the serial number proving I bought it outright they then agreed to up the offer by £100, still £300 less than the original offer. I then said no and asked for the device to be returned they ignored this and offered £20 more, I continued to say no return it to which they said they would but the following week once they had enough devices to return to people, I reluctantly accepted. They then emailed and said upon further review the phone was very dented and scratched and they wanted to send another revised offer, they sent me photos of a phone covered in deep scratches and chips, I then asked for a video showing the IMEI or serial number on screen and the damaged body as I did not believe it was mine and felt they were being disingenuous and I said so, they said they have over 50 phones a week and are above board. They sent a video but just of the screen showing IMEI, not the body. I can't believe Ive been conned, the phone was perfect with good battery health also and has been well looked after in case with screen protector in the 10 months I had it. They either used another phone or purposely damaged mine. As I say the video did not show the body so I believe it was not my phone in the photos, i also notice white paint type stuff on the handlers hands like dried in tipex which resembled what could be seen all over the phone. I knew If I continued to ask for it back they would damage my phone for real and leave me stuck so I had no choice but to reluctantly accept their offer at 300 less than originally offered. They also used other excuses during our exchange, firstly saying I stating if was brand new and it was not, I send my screenshot showing I chose good and the offer price, they then said there is a new model due next month (now this month) and so the prices had gone down, I thought the offer price was frozen once sent in though. It was just tactic after tactic and I got completely conned and ripped off. They then asked me to send my bank details via email even though they were given on the site and I also had to send a photo of my driving licence for their records. I am a hard working genuine person with a decent job and who is honest and has integrity. This company is a disgrace and should be stopped from being able to advertise via recycle compare. I am still very angry and feel robbed.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE! AT ALL!
I sent over a phone, they quoted me 815, then 450 as the phone was on a contract so instead i requested my phone to be sent back
instead they terrorized me with 50 lowball offers and every time i rejected them they'd send another one instead of just sending my phone back as requested
on friday, after i was meant to receive the tracking, i asked for an update, they proceed to give me YET ANOTHER OFFER which shows they didn't even ship my phone
would not use them, any good review is paid, i was forced to take an offer 90 quid less than expected and then they emailed me offering 5 quid if i gave a good review
again, DO NOT USE.
Very Efficient
Packaging arrived quick, email to confirm phone received also arrived quick. Device revalued, but after some issues along the way, the issues were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.
False claim that postage is insured
Beware of using the supplied tracked return service! The headline claim that this is insured simply isn't true because you can't actually make a claim to Royal Mail since they dont consider you the sender. Boost will then hide behind their terms and conditions and tell you its your own fault for using the service they supplied and tough luck, go speak to Royal Mail.
After 2 months of trying to get anywhere, they simply don't care, knowing full well and proven that I am unable to raise a claim they still wont raise it on my behalf. So this review is simply a warning to others to think very carefully about selling your devices as they won't help you when things go wrong.
The technicality that this creates is, Boost purchase the postage with Royal Mail as a tracked return, making themselves the Sender and Receiver, the contract with Royal Mail is with the person who pays them, which is Boost. Royal Mail wont accept a claim from me, Boost refuse to raise a claim so I'm left with nothing.
Poor communication, moving return dates, and pressure tactics
I sent in a brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB to Boost Gadgets. Upon receiving the device, they revalued the initial quote from £800 down to £500, stating that contract/pay-monthly devices carry a risk for them. When I declined the low offer and requested the device be returned, their handling of the process became frustrating, they initially stated in writing that the device would be sent back on Friday’s scheduled return collection. Once I formally rejected another offer of £650 which they increased from £500 in less than 10 minutes and insisted on a return, they immediately changed their story, claiming collections had "already taken place for this week" and pushed the return date back a full week. Facing a week-long delay to get my phone back, I eventually gave in and accepted a negotiated offer of £650 just to resolve the matter quickly. After sending my bank details to them they ghosted me, It took me to threaten escalation of action for a response and then payment to be made which did not take 5 minutes as they stated originally.
Disappointing
Disappointing. Was quoted and needed the money, was then forced to accept a significantly lower quote due to needing the funds as a priority. Looks similar to other reviews…..
