I hired a van to assist a family member move from one house to another. The staff at the Britannia Lanes of Devon (Marsh Barton Branch) were extremely professional and polite. The young lady I first encountered when booking the aforementioned vehicle was polite, professional and knowledgeable of not just the vehicle hire but also of the self storage facility. She is a credit to Britannia Lanes of Devon.
The van I hired met all needs and expectations required of it. Good to drive and took a little amount of diesel to top back up on completion.
Thoroughly recommend their services and I will gladly use again.

This has been my ninth move and whilst I have used the Britannia Group a few times previously my experience of Britannia Lanes has been the worst of all. Damage caused to our personal effects on this occasion has exceeded the total of all damages incurred in the past. The prime damage was caused by negligent handling of an appliance even before it left our property. The director of Britannia Lanes denies responsibility for the actions of her crew and won't even respond to an email request. The matter is being referred to the British Association of Removers

The Lads at Britannia Lanes really know how to pack things up. They are not stingy with the paper and cardboard and don't slack on the job. Take my tip and buy the best!

Britannia Lanes Devon moved us from Wiltshire to Devon and the service they provided was excellent. Uncomplaining about the heavy boxes and awkward shapes they had to load for us, polite and respectful of our property. Also helped with items that weren’t being moved by them as we had a few issues with the weight of our fish tank! Special mentions to Dan, Tony P, Tony C, Dave, Tony F, Hayden and Steven who covered the 3 days of the move. Highly recommended.

The team worked so hard on our home move. They never stopped working and packed up our home quickly and efficiently. Great team of 4 Removal men; 3 Luton Van's used due to restricted access. Friendly; professional and efficient service loading and uploading. Worked very quickly and the move which was within the same village was completed by mid pm.

Britannia Lanes of Devon helped us with a move from Sheffield to Exeter and we couldn’t be happier with the service. The removal men were both friendly and professional, getting the job done so much faster than we could’ve hoped. Other staff then helped us in Exeter putting some items into storage, making the whole moving process 10X easier than if we attempted on our own. The Britannia team based in Exeter moved us from our Plymouth home into storage today. All three were excellent; helpful, polite and accommodating throughout. Britannia Lanes have just moved us from Devon to Gloucestershire, and we’re absolutely brilliant. They packed up our entire house, all boxed up, and best of all every box clearly labelled with the contents.
Leighton, Ernie and Ricky were marvellous when they moved us in yesterday. Due to a solicitor cock up we didn’t get the keys until 4.30, but despite that they were so kind and cheerful.. I cannot thank them enough.
