What an extraordinarily good experience. Everything worked exceptionally well. London all packed up and safely arrived in Devon. All the team went way beyond my expectations to make sure it went smoothly and stress free. Very professional. A pleasure to deal with such a well organised company. I would absolutely recommend them.

My insurance claim was dealt with very fairly and without stress ( glad I took the excess cover!).

Highly efficient and friendly service. The guys who completed the collection and delivery of our furniture and possessions were a joy to work with. We couldn't have wished for a more stress free move. We have no hesitation in recommending Britannia Lanes of Devon.

Our movers were incredibly professional, friendly and flexible. They kept us at ease and were exceptionally knowledgeable when dealing with any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Excellent service at a good price. Very professional from start to finish. Turned up right on time and the three men were all great loaded up our items and furniture quickly while still taking care not to damage anything and then delivered it to my new home placing it where I asked them to. I would definitely recommend them.

Very friendly and personable staff who went out of their way to accommodate our needs and make us feel welcome. Very quick and easy to collect vehicle on the day.

Staff both in the office and onsite were very friendly. The removers packed with care and checked where I wanted things positioned. I would definitely reccomend.

Good service throughout from booking to removal day, collection and unloading. The staff on the day were helpful, and fun to have a round.

Friendly, efficient and professional

Dan and Adrian were great. They moved my mum from Essex to Devon recently and the service was perfect. Carefull packing, looked after my mum's wishes. Kind, friendly. On time. What more could you want. They even got mum a fish and chip dinner.

PLEASE don't trust these movers. They over-charged, they broke items and furniature. They left valuable items behind, ie: lawn mower, wheel barrow, air conditioners, and my son's BED etc, etc! They left things out in the rain. They packed boxes full of rubbish & then charged us for them (we didn't know the contents until we unpacked), after which we found that many things were missing too! Thismade us so depressed and angry, we still are. And we have proof.

*THEY CHOSE TO MOVE US DESPITE SAYING AFTERWARDS THEY ONLY HAD A DAY SPARE.
*AFTER THE WAY THEY TREATED OUR BELONGINGS, WHY WOULD WE TRUST CONTINUED SERVICE WITH THEM?
*THE LANES ARE ON THE BAR COMMITTEE, THEREFORE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
*WE FOUGHT HARD TO GET OUR MONEY BACK AND COMPENSATION FOR THE THINGS THEY BROKE AND LEFT BEHIND, BUT IN THE END WERE ONLY ABLE TO GET LESS THAN HALF.
*THIS WAS A SHAMEFUL WAY TO TREAT A PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSON AND HER CARER!
*FAMILY RUN BUSINESSES SHOULD NOT BE RUN BY DISFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES.

Very efficient and reliable. Honest and up front about pricing. On the day of the move they were very quick and clearly knew how best to pack things. Made our move very easy.

So friendly and helpful when I had an emergency and needed to rent a vehicle at short notice. Reasonable prices, excellent vans and great service

The experience we had from Britannia Lanes was positive. The packing and loading was led and coordinated by Adrian and ably supported by Dan and Tony. All 3 of them worked with professionalism and good humour, getting the job done swiftly and carefully. These guys deserve 5 stars!
During the unloading, with other members of the team, our sofa suffered some leather damage which is why we gave an overall score of 4. However, Britannia Lanes have organised for this to be mended so we’re pleased we took out the insurance.
I’d like to also mention Lynn B in the office - our move date had to be changed and she tried her best to accommodate our needs and keep communication clear.

Had a towbar fitted today. Travelled from North Devon and I am glad I did. Good quality, fast fitting and friendly service. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Brittania towbars , easily the best

I have been using Britannia lanes in Exeter over the last few years for many van hires and I have always had great customer service. I would highly recommend them

Very impressed with Britannia self storage and self drive, especially with Mr. Robert Parr nothing was too much trouble, It’s hard nowadays to find such a friend people that are there happy to help, I needed to change 3X dates for my rental car - all without hassle, Storage is clean and access 24/7, I will definitely use them again as I can only highly recommend it.

This was our first time of hiring a full packing and moving service, and all the people involved were excellent. I am disabled, and as if my usual difficulties weren't enough, I also had an accident on the morning of the move and the lads made sure our sofa came in first so I had somewhere to sit and nurse my wounds. I wish we could hire you to do unpacking too because it's taking us ages!

If you are thinking about hiring movers, but don't think hiring packing services is necessary... Let me assure you, it's necessary. It's worth the extra money, and Britannia are worth your business. Would give more stars if I could.
