British Lofts Reviews

The British Lofts team were professional, knowledgeable and approachable throughout our dealings. They provided prompt and transparent communications at all times. The advice given was well informed and the quotes incredibly competitive without any sales push. Although we had to make a late cancellation, this was accommodated with understanding and professionalism.

Bruce and his team are very professional
Always get in contact for any details I must require...arrive on time and the materials and quality are good ..
I was expecting all the loft done ..but at the end they did only a few meters of the loft but I'm satisfied with the results because my stuff its really organised this time !!!..thanks.

Very good installation by the team from start to finish.
The installers were neat, tidy and professional.
And I'm so happy I got another large space for storage.

We are absolutely delighted with this company who fitted our loft boards and a loft ladder today.

The communication was very good and the installer was very friendly and professional.
We would highly recommend this company

I am absolutely delighted with the work carried out yesterday in my new build house.
It has turned my loft into the functional and safe space I had been imagining.
I am particularly thrilled with the wooden ladder I selected as it makes access so easy.
The team arrived on time, explained everything clearly throughout, and all worked efficiently - even detecting a boiler issue I was unaware of.
Protective coverings were put down and my home was left clean and tidy.
I found the whole process hassle-free from quote to completion, and feel the price was competitive for the loft zone system.
Would highly recommend to anyone wanting their loft to be a more useful space - British Lofts makes it easy!

British Lofts were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I left a message on the website and Bruce rang me that evening. Since then, it has been smooth sailing. I had to re-arrange the installation date and Brice simply moved the appointment to the following week without fuss or delay.

When Lee arrived he covered our carpeted stairs and landing, found a simple solution around our ventilation system (hadn’t taken this into consideration) and installed the ladder and some flat surface in the loft itself. He worked non stop and very hard for the few hours he was here. He demonstrated how to manoeuvre the ladder down very clearly.

We used to take our life in our hands getting into the loft. The normal step ladder was not quite tall enough. Now, with a simple hook we can access the loft safely and use it for storage. I would highly recommend British Lofts to everyone else who are in a similar situation.

Great communication from start to finish and arrived on time. I explained we had a budget and they worked with us to get a good section done for around this price. They realised there was going to be a slight problem with access and where the ladder would be situated. Troubleshooted the problem by flipping the hinges of our loft hatch to the other side and re-sealing to create a nice tidy finish. Took time to show me how to use the ladder properly and our loft looks amazing! Just the storage space we were after. Everything left clean and tidy, cannot fault their service at all. Would highly recommend.

Loft flooring completed to a high standard. Great communication. Would recommend them highly.

The team did a great job boarding and adding a thick layer of insulation to my loft. They arrived on time in the morning, were focused on the job and cleaned up before they left.
It's been a couple months since the install and we can definitely tell the difference, the house felt warmer all throughout the winter and we've spent less on gas.

Very good experience - clear quotes, good communication and the installation today was very good from Lee and Mike. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience. Bruce was super responsive and helped me choose the right package. Lee was lovely when he came to the house. The work was quick, efficient and no disruption at all. We now have a great loft space that is fully insulated and very sturdy. Would recommend British Lofts to anyone thinking about doing their loft flooring. They are great value for money, highly experienced and really do go the extra mile to give you exactly what you need.

Really fantastic service from the British Lofts team; I had my loft boarded and a ladder installed, however, I was struggling with the standard metal ladder on my own, as I’m quite short and it required me having to push our hatch up and into the loft to get the ladder down. Bruce and Lee got in contact with me again to sort out another method, the wooden ladder attached to a pull-down hatch, which has been much better for me whilst I’m at home alone. Prices are very reasonable considering the work that goes into sorting a loft out, and both jobs (first boarding and metal ladder install, and then the removal of metal ladder and extending of the hatch opening and install of the wooden ladder) took about half a day each, and everything was left tidy. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

British lofts, Bruce & Lee provided a totally excellent service. They went the extra mile to ensure I got the best result for a difficult and previously dangerous loft access. I totally recommend them. Great guys!
