From the start the communication with BTB was excellent. The level 2 survey was so detailed it was not far from a level 3. We have had a level 3 on a different property earlier this year.
We would definitely use BTB again.

This company is brilliant value. I always felt I was in the hands of professionals, we're based in the South West and they allocated a local surveyor who left no stone unturned in our new property. The surveyor was happy to go through all the questions we had to help us understand the technical details.

Great service and survey was done when we were advised. Great communication throughout the process with website updates, emails and phone calls. After survey spoke with Michael who gave great advice. Would recommend this company to family and friends.

Steve did the survey on our purchase. The report he produced was absolutely first class. Detailed easy to understand professionally produced with detailed supporting evidence and crystal clear photos. He identified all that was good bad and ugly. One particular aspect was a critical deal breaker concerning a structural issue. Thanks to Steve we have managed to rectify the issue to everyone's satisfaction. I instructed BTB to carry out a level 3 survey on a house prior to purchase. I was able to book in the survey within 2 weeks of submitting the instruction and signing the contract which I thought was really good.

Marisa in the office is brilliant. She was kind, responded rapidly (even in the evening) and very efficient.

The survey itself was brilliant. The surveyor spent nearly 4 hours and produced a very thorough 115 page report and was able to find issues I could then liase with the vendor about to come to a mutual agreement. He even offered a number to call him for any clarification.

BTB was also very good in price in comparison to other surveyors. It was not the most expensive by far but was also not quite the cheapest but offered a competitive price. I was glad I didn’t go for the cheapest provider as BTB were so good.

I didn’t have to pay the balance until the report has been prepared and was ready for upload although I paid before.

We had a level 3 survey undertaken for a 200 year old semi detached property in Kirk Ireton, which was worth its weight in gold, as it identified over £40k of work that needed urgent attention.
The report was delivered with photos, written in plain English, RAG rating by each area and as it was a Level 3 provided estimated costing where required.
Marisa was very helpful on the phone and answered quickly and efficiently.
The portal was easy to use and the report arrived when stated.

When I started searching the surveyors, BTB was not the cheapest but I went with average reviews. And I am happy to select them for property survey.

Easy to book. Comprehensive report. Excellent follow up. Reasonable cost.

The transaction was not easy as they could not allow me to pay, so had to do it through the bank, they turned up when they said, but after they had done half a survey they dropped the keys off to the agents and said it was full of damp, they never checked the drains and when asked to check the wall that was leaning they said it was not dangerous, I checked for damp myself and could not find anywhere near the levels they supposed to have found so had a damp survey done at there advice and no damp was found.
I did not have a good experience with this company and would not recommend or use them again, when I told them my thoughts they basically said I was wrong, very poor customer service and not very helpful, they make sure you pay them first.
