I've learned so much about budgeting and investing. I thought I was good at budgeting and that I just needed to learn about investing but turns out I still needed both. I finally started taking retirement seriously and now I know exactly how much I need to put aside monthly to reach my goal. Budgetdog is totally worth it.

Real, middle-income family here, living off one income, homeschooling 3 kids & opened a new business 7 months ago & not consistently profiting yet. We started 2026 knowing we wanted to get out of debt, but didn't get serious about it until June/July. We were making small strides, doing a zero-dollar budget & putting any extra cash towards debt, nothing major but still shrinking our debt balance. We stumble upon Budget Dog Academy. We had ZERO intention on signing up, what else could we learn? We had done the Dave Ramsey method 10 years ago (I guess we never really stuck with it), but after chatting with Brennan we started feeling intrigued. The things that stood out were "investments" "savings for kids" "wills" these were things that unfortunately never felt within reach. We decided to take the sales call & at least hear them out, but we knew we probably wouldn't sign up. During the call we discussed our zero-based budget & a comment was made "that's a lot of money for groceries". It wasn't said rudely, it was a quick comment that I left the call thinking, is $3-$5k in restaurants & groceries REALLY a lot of money....Well, Yes! Yes it absolutely is! But we aren't great at cooking, how do we shrink this budget? Glad to report since starting budget dog we have brought down our grocery/restaurant budget to $1,700/$1,800!!! We had a goal to get a credit card down to $5,500 by October, but with Budget Dog Academys help with our budget we PAID IT OFF with money we found within our budget!! We are only on week 6, but we have a solid plan. All our small debts will be PAID OFF by winter, we will start 2027 by dumping money into our mortgage to pay it off 3 years later & we will start investing at the beginning of 2027 & plan to be financially independent by or before 10 years from now. We went from not only living paycheck to paycheck but most months we had to take from savings to finding 4k to put towards debt within the first month & finding $2,200/mo every month after to put towards debt & investments. We haven't even barely been in the course much but have learned so much & feel so much more free. Its hasn't all been easy, but Budget Dog is there for you with any questions you may have & will help guide you. We can't wait until January when we can start investing from all the monthly debt bills we used to pay. We would highly suggest the course.

I truly appreciate how they explain investing in a way that is easy to understand, making what can sometimes feel overwhelming much more approachable. They genuinely want to ensure you understand what's happening every step of the way. Their communication is excellent, and they are always responsive and willing to answer questions. It's reassuring to know you have someone by your side throughout the entire process, making sure you feel informed, supported, and confident along the way.

The team is excellent and I have personally enjoyed so much the learning experience. We all want to get in with the purpose to grow our money. What I have found is that initially the structure of the academy puts a bit of a break on investing and makes sure the basics and your personal needs are truly understood. The academy provides tools that lead to that money growth in a wise and responsible manner. So glad I joined and I am not even done with the program :)

Can't believe that since joining BudgetDog in May of this year we have:
— Gotten married
— Bought a home
— Fully funded our Roths
— Only $10k of debt left and we'll be debt free
(Other than our home)
— And a year from now Sevana will graduate from Nurse Practioner school debt free.

BDA is a great learning platform and community of like-minded clients who are getting finances in order and building wealth for the future. This is the kind of personal finance I wish they taught in schools. And Brennan and the team are incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and disciplined- making progress easier than simply watching videos and trying to learn on one’s own. I trust them and the results have been great.

The community is so great and refreshing. There's a wealth of knowledge here which is mostly fundamentals packaged with a plan that you design then get coached on. If there's ever a spot where you struggle you can reach out to the community and get some help or perspective really quick. I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling with personal finance.

We have been using Budget Dog for 2 months now and it has been an answer to prayers! After 10+ years of living paycheck to paycheck including undergraduate studies, medical school, residency, and the first 2 years of my husband as a full time physician, we finally found something that works. Although the initial investment felt like more than we could afford, we took the leap and we have already recouped the entire cost of the course (and a little bit more). Within the first 4 weeks of the Budget Dog course, we found an extra $1800 that we had been “leaving on the table”. We finally have a vision of what financial freedom truly looks like for us and goals that will get us there. The Budget Dog team is extremely helpful and responsive usually answering questions within 1-2 business days. They frequently check in to support us when life gets busy which is huge! We love Budget Dog and would recommend it to anyone!

So far, the information provided has been relatively easily digestible. It's helpful being able to watch, re-watch, and likely watch again educational videos until I understand. It's also helpful to have past information/other resources at our fingertips within Skool. I appreciate the quick turnaround with responses for personal questions I ask the BDA coaches through chat (or even the Thursday Q&A). Communication is important for not feeling lost or forgotten in this growing community. Above all, I appreciate how genuine Brennan and the team has been to encourage us to be successful. The encouraging words to the community makes the love palpable. After years of (now) understanding I have been misled for financial advice, I have been skeptical to trust others when it comes to finances. I know it is my responsibility to understand where my money is going and why, but I didn't necessarily know the best approach to accomplish this. It felt like a leap of faith with BDA but I have yet to be disappointed. Since joining BDA, I have been able to learn and understand the value of the "core" to being able to invest (weeks 1-4), be vulnerable about my financial situation, and gain confidence in knowing if I trust the process, I can take control of my goals/future. I have so much to learn in the remainder of the course and years to come but hopefully, with the help of BDA coaches and community, will thrive. I look forward to it all!

We really appreciate the guidance through all of this. There’s zero judgement, only math. Budgetdog has helped us take control of our finances and work toward our financial goals. Any time we have a question, there are resources to help us through it and the tools provided are extremely helpful. We can’t wait to see the other side, but we are already feeling like we are on the right track! The coaches are awesome and their feedback is super thorough. Definitely feel invincible with Budgetdog in our corner!

Budgetdog is exactly what we have needed - we just wish that we had found it sooner! Having a clear plan to pay off our debt and putting a date to those debt payoffs has given us peace of mind and clarity for our future. Excited to dive into investments and pass along all that we learn down to our kids!

We’ve been with the program for about 2 months now and truly believed it was the best decision. Full transparency, the program is pricey. The program does not customize and work one on one with you. However, if you want something cheap, want to make easy cash and fast- this program is not it for you. But you better believe that cheap program is going to sell you something that’s not going to last. The program that provides customized one on one service will definitely cost you more with hidden fees.
This program, Budgetdog, is not the perfect fit for everyone- it’s for people who are serious about their financial future. Someone who is willing to roll back their sleeves, follow the program, and then some! Like that saying, “give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Budgetdog teaches you the roadmap, give you those resources, has it structured and watered down to basic everyday lingo that makes sense, and has a community that rallies behind you. You really get what you put into it.
We’re happy with the program and trusting a process that has clearly proved it worked.

Budgetdog has an excellent curiculum and is well worth the initial investment. Their coaches are patient and will adapt to you the students busy schedule and unforeseen life incidents.

The information in the academy is throughly worth while and very beneficial but it is all prerecorded education and it is not personalized at all. This would be great if it didn’t cost $7500. The academy is not worth the cost. I also was contacted at the end of 6 months to join another portion of the academy for additional cost, when I said no I never heard from anyone again. I did make changes in my finances based on what I learned but I also am now $7500 deeper in debt and everything I learned would have been available for free if I had just done my own research on finances and investing. I personally would only recommend this if you truly have money to burn and if you are young and just starting your investments. I found very little that was geared to an older investor who is behind and starting late. I also felt that the leaders constant posts about how much money (the money he is taking from people signing up for the course) he is investing every week made me feel like he was bragging and that I’d never be able to do the same. Again, the course is beneficial but it is very expensive!!!

Remember that finance class you took in school that changed your life? It taught exactly how to systems becoming a millionaire and what specific things to do to budget, save for retirement, become financially free, and set your kids up for success!

No? Yeah me neither.

This course and academy? It’s everything you’ve been complaining about not being taught when you were growing up. They teach you so much, at a simply level, and hold you accountable!

You see others just like you doing it, and a few steps ahead looking back at you encouraging you to keep going.

It’s simply life-changing.

I came into Budgetdog having no real sense of financial education. Budgetdog has allowed me to take control of my finances and actually see that my high amount of student debt can be paid off. The coaches answer all your questions and help you in any way they can.

We’ve been members for less than 2 months but the tools available to us and the lessons taught have been incredibly valuable. The money we’re making and saving and putting to work in the initial 6 months will more than pay for the investment of joining. If you’re on the fence about joining, don’t be. This is going to set our family up for financial freedom that we never saw possible before.

The academy was a wonderful experience, and the community is like no other, extreamely supportive and encouraging. It was worth every penny, but be prepared to show up - it paid for itself multiple times before the 6 months were over.

Brennan and the team have really taken the time to get this all together for people to be financially prepared and you can tell how much work they have put into this. Even his posts on our site for budgetdog you can tell how thoughtful and supportive he is to each and everyone of us. When I came into budgetdog I thought I would feel like I didn’t belong and let me tell you that was not true at all. Brennan and the other people on budgetdog the team are so encouraging. I have learned truly so much. I am thankful to Brennan and the team.

Our experience with Budgetdog and the Budgetdog Academy, specifically, has been really great! We have followed Brennan on Instagram for almost a year before signing up for the Academy, so we knew what we were getting into and that it would be worth every penny.
Life has been unexpectedly busy on our end and we've fallen behind several times, yet the coaches have continued to encourage us, support us, and answer all our questions.
We look forward to updating this review once we graduate!
